The group of soldiers stood in the middle of a road leading into what used to be a small town. Its bombed out buildings and rusting cars still remained, relics of the last Incursion here. The road was blocked, but today they expected visitors. Down the road, a dust cloud was seen rising up behind a small convoy of vehicles. A soldier retrieved a radio from his watchman's post and called it in to command.
"Command, UNITA Forces are inbound." he reported.
"Good," came the reply on the other line. "We expected them. The time has finally come for the Third Incursion. Finally, we can retake this shithole for the Territories."
Five Panhard VBL's and a Khader Fhad drove up to the roadblock, the occupants dismounting. A shemagh-adorning black man approached the Major on post.
"Well, what is it." said the black man.
"It is time, General Kalash." said the Major. Kalash was the General of the Corporation-friendly UNITA rebel force in Agnolia.
"Finally," said the General. "These other warlords are becoming difficult to deal with.
"Don't worry, General," said the Major. "The cavalry is coming as we speak."
As he said that, as if on cue, a flight of Oryx Tranports and AH-2's flew overhead towards the small town a few clicks away called Voudougou. Ten Retekker HAT's and thirty Olifant 2's drove down the street accompanied by some G6's and some Casspir and Mamba troop carriers, passing the roadblock and moving in towards the town. An SMV transport truck also drove behind them with several Urban-camo painted APU's on the back.
"What the hell are those?" asked the General.
The Major smiled. "That, my friend, is our little surprise for the Agnolians."

Voudougou, Agnolia
Voudougou, in its prime, was a peaceful, prosperous city. It had money, water, and food in excess, and also was a learning center of pacifism and philosophy for the Zulu. Now, in the present, the city was the exact opposite of its bright past. Bodies lined the streets from fighting and militias prowled their sections of turf, fighting one another whenever they got the chance. There was little water and even less food. A perfect situation for the Mercenaries.
"Kilo group, spearhead the op into the city." said the Major in charge. "X-ray, stay back and provide artillery cover. Hotel flight, provide air support. Commence the attack!"
A line of tanks, made up of thirty Olifant-2's and ten Retekker Heavy Assault Tanks began a slow move into the cit along with Casspir trucks and Mamba FAV's. They met up with a UNITA squad that was pinned down by a notorious gang, the Kourkies. They ran around in their underwear covered in white dust, supposedly carrying mystical powers impervious to bullets. The unorganized group of naked men was gunned down by the lead tank and several infantry accompanying them, and much to the Kourkie's dismay, the bullets hit hard. AH-2's were seen assaulting enemy hideouts while a few Oryx's dropped off men and Vektor APUs on buildings near the convoy. The APUs began sweeping the roofs with fire, jumping from roof to roof to keep up with the attack convoy.

Voudougou, Agnolia
For the first time in probably fifty years, Voudougou was almost entirely in one power's hands. Schroeder Corp. Personell were everywhere, clearing buildings and taking prisoner many of the militiamen. Though most went to plan, some incedents occured such as the massacring of twenty POWs at the hands of two APUs and the artillery striking of a mob hideout which happened to be a church. Command overlooked it. Twenty less militiamen didn't matter.
Voudougou was barely a strategic position, a town of only about three thousand near the border, but if all went according to plan, it would become the foothold for the Mercenary advance into the rest of Agnolia.

Oh, capitalists, the party is just beginning...
An RPG man leaned out a window as an Olifant drove past, not even glancing up. It was too perfect-but he would take it. The RPG-7 angled in on the Olifant, waited until it had a clear shot on the rear of the tank-far more vulnerable than the armored front-and opened fire. The RPG spat forth from the launcher, fire blasting from the back as the explosive projectile sailed forth on a rocket booster.
A BAE Hawk soared down-Voudougou's only fixed-wing aircraft capable of doing any sort of damage. It sailed over three Olifants, dumping off several BL .755 Cluster Bombs, the bomblets deploying directly over the Olifants. The Hawk turned, banking on another group of SRT soldiers caught now in what suddenly was devolving into madness, dropping four 500 lb Mk. 82 bombs before burning afterburner to head back to local station.
RPG-7-armed insurgents began popping up across the city, as others with AK-74s and M-14s began targeting soldiers of the SRT. Bullets began flying, Molotov cocktails and grenades soaring to make contact, rocket-propelled grenades seeking targets.

"Atlas 3, Fox one!" reported the Rooivalk pilot as he blew away one of his AAMs at the fixed wing aircraft moving in. The other helicopters began FFAR-striking the insurgent filled buildings while the Olifants and Rettekers regrouped on the ground.
"Motion has a target! All APUs, hit this building!" ordered the APU commander. The Powered Armor and Infantry forces who were equipped with the SDI version of Land Warrior began firing on the buildings the insurgents came from. Grenades were lobbed in while soldiers broke in the doors and began sweep and clear maneuvers. G6 artillery opened up on designated parts of the city marked by the command Oryx flying high above the battlezone.

The AAM smashed into the fuel line of the jinking Hawk, ignoring the chaff deployed completely and blowing its charge into the midsection of the strike fighter. The Hawk exploded, its frontal section shooting forth in flame as the rear blew in a bright flash of metal and fire. A ZSU-23-4 gun began shooting up at the Rooivalk, fire pelting from its quad cannon as it took position behind loose cover in a damaged street.
Three Panhard AML armored cars came barrelling in, but the city was doomed to fall-the Agnolians were saving their military wares for later fighting. The AMLs cruised through the streets fast, cannons blazing at infantry as they evaded the slower, less mobile tanks. RPG fire continued, as did bullet fire from Agnolian FN FAL assault rifles.

A Rooivalk was hit with the hail of fire from the SPAAG and went down near a mercenary troop position. Mercenaries moved out to rescue them while teh other Rooivalks descended just above the buildings out of the SPAAG's effective range. A Retekker Heavy Assault Tank broke through a masonry wall and set its sights for the SPAAG, aimed, and finally fired its 152mm cannon at the vehicle, blasting it to pieces and sending the bits all over the street.
Meanwhile, a large group of APUs and Infantry moved down the streets, gunning down anyone, civilian or insurgent, foolish enough to cross them.A few APUs jumped up on the roofs of the buildings and proceeded from there, putting an end to the snipers hitting them from above. The main hub of resistance was in a large warehouse straight ahead, which was controlled by the SCT-nased Jmabwe Cartel (I'll RP them since they are one of my main opposition groups within the territories.), a target that the Corporation wanted stomped out immediately. It was a large drug lab for the manufacture of dope, crack and other volatile substances that were polluting the Territory's population. A Retekker moved up in front of the infantry and blasted its cannon at the main gates, blowing them down and allowing the APUs and Infantry a way in. They entered, and the battle began.
The first floor was mainly security, with many bars and gates blocking their passing. The APUs began using their grenades to blow down these barriers and acted as shields for the infantry behind. Cartel members were gunned down due to lack of cover in the halls, so they began moving up to the second floor.
The second floor was a large drug lab, and the workers were hard at work manufacturing their tainted products. The guards began to fire at the soldier coming in, but after the deadly accurate fire of the APUs, they began to dwindle in numbers. The workers escaped to the next floor or were shot by the mercenaries, adding to the many atrocities committed by the soldiers. (Someone can have a newsflash about it if they want.)
The next floor housed the Cartel Lounge, a plush room filled with Cartel members. The doors were blown off their hinges by the soldiers' C8 charges and were sent flying across the room into some guards. mercenaries flooded into the room along with a few APUs and began killing the Cartel. Some mercenaries had been killed, but for teh most part the APUs had been doing a good job of cover. The leader of the Cartel plant was dragged outside along with his liutenants and lined up kneeling on the ground. A mercenary Captain retrieved a Z88 9mm and began to systematically execute the leaders of the Cartel with cold effinciency. A man was seen filming the event and was shot at, but unfortunately he escaped.

The flaming ZSU was giving off a lot of blinding smoke-right before some of the Retekkers. It was a perfect opportunity for several Zimbabwe militia. Two sappers dashed across the street, each holding a compression-activated IED. As two tanks rolled across the street looking for infantry, the smoke covered the sappers perfectly. The Zimbabwe personnel dropped them five meters apart, then scattered, dashing for the ends of the street and banking left and right to escape sight, not looking to see what the IED-mines would do.

A Retekker HAT moved over the mine, detonating it under its weight. Fortunately for the crew, the Tank's underbelly was designed somewhat like the Casspir deflecting much of the blast away from the crew quarters. The right tread was blown off, and an engineer ran up and began to try to fix it under cover of some APUs. A militia squad in a large troop truck arrived and began to dismount, but was blown to pieces by a Rooivalk.
