There was no mistake about it. The King and Queen of Halestia called for the unification of the isles of the Western sea. Could it be through peace? Perhaps; but war is something that the elves of Halestia wanted. They needed to at least have an experianced number of units to call up should the need ever arise that an army would be needed in order to defend the homeland.

Castle Jalysik, Elenglynn

The minister of foreign affairs listened intently to the King's plan to unite the islands of the western sea in order to bring about Halestian dominance to the seas of not only the west, but of the south and east as well. The minister of Foreign affairs knew that the King's ambitions extended as far as the main-land, but they would not go that far yet.

The King motioned for the minister of finance to speak.

"Your majesty, I propose that after we attain these islands we industrialize them and bring them to economic readiness that our kingdom needs in order to thrive and continue to dominate western affairs. Then, we may focus on the creation of new ships and begin seeking out to attain islands in the southern and eastern seas."

"A good plan. One with which I agree with."

The minister of finance knodded. The King then turned to the minister of foreign affairs.

"I bid you, stand up and speak"

"Of course, your majesty.

The Kingdom of Halestia is a great one, my comrades" he began.
"One whose naval might has gone unchallenged for nearly a century since our founding, but why not attain the islands through diplomatic means? As long as they give us our taxes and supply us with men to fight our wars, then they can have the domestic affairs under their own control. And if you ever wanted full control over the islands, you can always have an influx of Hale elves to the islands and have them vote on full joining of the Kingdom."

"True, true." Replied the King "We will offer the small island of the far west the option of joining our Kingdom."

"With that, I announce the calling up of 5 legions which as you know is 60,000 men in order to subjugate the large island chain closest to the continent. In addition, 60 quirinomes will be called up in order to fight whatever battle ships they may posess. Our army will be VICTORIOUS!" The King shouted the last part with a triumphant note.

Letter to, King of Jaluk (Small island, far western sea)

It has come to my attention that your small kingdom is becoming less and less powerful every day. Our mostly pirate-free seas are a wonder to behold-a wonder that we would like you to bask in. We offer you the option in joining the Halestion Kingdom. Life would go on much the same in Jaluk for the exception of several things one, taxes would go to the Halestian crown, two your position would now be royal govenor of the island, three rampant building projects to improve your people's standard of living would occur. We truly hope that you accept these terms. It is our only goal to bring peace and stability to the entirety of the western sea.

Fleet Alpha, off the shore of Scotia (Large north isle)

Units-
2 Battle fleets (30 ships each)
5 legions (60,000 men, 12,000 each)
Several hundred transport ships)
400 scouts
100 demographers
20 scout cruisers.

General Kvatch Ornelous breathed a sigh of relief as he landed on the soft sands of the northern isle of Scotia. He had no idea what tribe held the area that he landed upon, but he and the king assumed that the isles were not united yet. Tribal rule had once held sway to the mighty kingdom. WIth the general, 6,000 well-armed troops with light steel armor and longswords had been sent to secure the beach-head so that the entire army could land well. With the 6,000 men 200 scouts had come with them. Their task was to find a suitable base of operations for the army. Almost immidetly one was found, and could act as the headquarters. It was near a natural harbor with several small springs there, so water was not a problem. The King had only authorized 1 months supply of food for the men, so 'foraging' would be their only option. That and a speedy victory.

General Kvatch was also in charge of the entire army coming into the north isle. Royal builders began using supplies from the supply ship in making stone and wooden semi-governmental buildings for the generals. Kvatch simply requested to stay with his men.

And he did. 20,000 men in total made it on shore that day. Scout cruisers would patrol the waters in case of some form of primitive attack ship from the tribal leaders.

The troop and supply ships were in the middle of the two battle-fleets.
