Grant, having finaly convinced CHIA to stop filtering his E-mails and computer searches, as well as stop hunting down him and his men... He managed to find another potential job, one that didn't involve CHIA or HOI.

His freedom from secret prossocution from the dark underworld of Hurtian Central Intellegence was by no means free, he had to do certain 'tasks' that the government didn't want to get their hands dirty with.

This doesn't sound too bad at first, but, unofficially, that was what HOI was for, CHIA kept the 5 point Mafia for those 'other' missions they didn't want to get involved in, and that usually meant some unusually high risk operation. His direct subordinates, being former special forces, were well trained, but he couldn't say the same for the grunts. And all the training in the world couldn't make up for the fact tht their most powerful weapons were shotguns and standard caliber sniper rifles...

They needed money, and plenty of it.

The Atopianian bounty was attracive enough, but this would mean sending people on a trip overseas, and then killing their victims, and with only a couple hundred dollars left in the budget, they couldn't afford to mess up, niether could they afford to send a full unit.

He decided Hans should figure out how to get weapons into Atopiana, while Pick and 4 of his best men would go into the country. Sid would take what was left of the money, and try and get the opium he recived from the Leafansi Mafia into a viable second income. Snake and Grant were left to deal with the mission given to them by CHIA, in order to keep them out of things for awhile, the other grunts would be defending territory, doing legwork, or trying to sell the drugs to the refugees, which was aided by the fact that almost half the population were of the Blood cult, who enjoyed a good narcotic trip here and there...

Seeing as though your nation is so willing to sacrifice its own people for minimal gain, we hereby demand that you surrender to the Pact. Whichever member of the Cazelian government effects this surrender will be paid $5 billion per year for life.

All foreign nationals have been rounded up and temporarily interned. The borders are sealed, with no flights or shipping entering or exiting the country with passengers on board. No crew will be allowed to leave ports or airfields. Any vessel or aircraft behaving strangely will be destroyed. Any crew member or foreign national found outside the confines of ports, airfields, or internment centres, will be shot.
