Next week, the Hegemony will be electing new leaders to head the international federation. The three offices that will be filled are as follows:

Hegemon: Supreme executive of the Hegemony, the Hegemon's decisions must be respected by all member nations unless the Hegemon's decision is brought to a vote and voted against by a 2/3rds majority of Hegemony members. The Hegemon may declare a state of emergency throughout all member nations.

Vice-Hegemon: Serves as head of the Hegemony Council (which is made up of all member nations), The Vice-Hegemon decides matters of Humanitarian and rebuilding aid to member and non-member nations. The Vice-Hegemon also gains an extra council vote in the event of a tie vote. If the Hegemon should die, the Vice-Hegemon shall serve as Hegemon for the remainder of the term.

Polemarch: Commander of Hegemony Military forces. The Polemarch has the right to access and use the militaries of member nations in the event of the decleration of a state of emergency.

Premier: The Premier shall preside as somewhat of a cheif justice, in charge of international trials, and the reveiw of passed Hegemony laws. The Premier shall select 2 others to assist in reveiwing laws.

Any Hegemony member who wishes to submit their name for one of these positions can do so here. The candidates will be voted upon next friday.

OOC: just to clarify, People of Sumguy is not my puppet, hence why we are both U.N. members. I say this because our names would make it appear as though we were the same person.

The Election starts Monday. If there is not more than one candidate for each position, then the current candidates will win by default. any nations that wish to join the Hegemony should TG me. Any Hegemony member may run for the above positions.
