A Resident Evil type RP set in space with a couple of twists...

The Premise:

The intergalactic, multinational pharmecuticals conglomerate "Galactic Genetics Incorporated" (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=528995) has lost communications with a top secret research base located in an abandoned gas mine on a backwater moon, but before the comms went down a distress signal was sent out on all channels. The United Earth Federation, suspicious of GGI's activities and responding to the distress signal, sends a crack SpecOps team to investigate the abandoned gas mine...


-Okay, so that's a rough sketch of the plot, anyone interested in RPing will RP as a member of the SpecOps team. Each member will have a different specialization (IE Sniper, Demolitions, Heavy Weapons, psyker, ect ect). I need a few RPers, the other members of the team (5) will be NPCs controlled by everyone. I will be RPing as the 'experiments' your team will encounter- zombies.... and other good stuff. If you're interested post a brief character description and history, the tech level is somewhere between the Humans in Halo and the clones in Star Wars- feel free to make up weaponry, ships and home planets. Also psionic/psychic stuff is allowed. I'm looking for good RPers who know how to write, and are interested in a character-driven plot.

History:
Like most Huntarians at the age prior to 4000 years old, her age doesn't match her looks. Originally human, Shelana Nord is a genetically altered huntarian. Her most famous ancestor is the infamous Calo Nord during the Jedi Civil War and the Mandalorian Wars era. Her training as an Devil's Opperative (Huntarian Empire elite forces) began shortly after she signed up to become a Marine in her early twenties. Training session as required by Empire regulations take five hundred years to complete, one of her instructors recognized her unusual abilities in the close combat areas (specifically, stealth) and recommended her to switch to Devil's Ops training. Being a Nord, Shellana inherited Calo's short tempered attitude, especially when it comes to making fun of her height (short by huntarian standards). Near the end of her training Shelana went insane, killing off most her instructors and blew up her training facility. Currently, Shellana accepts payment from any government so long as they get her credits on time.

Huntaer, could you create a character that's more of a 'goodguy' as well? I think it would be cool for Shelana to work for Galactic Genetics Inc as opposed to the UEF.

Rtas 'Vadumee is one of the best SpecOps Commanders in the The Covenant Empire. He has fought agianst some the most feared oppents in the galaxy, most notablely the flood. When the agriculture ship Infinite Succor was boarded by an unknown threat, Rtas 'Vadumee lead a team there to investigate, along with securing a Legate known as the Minister of Etiology. They encountered the Flood for the first time there. In an attempt to kill the Flood, 'Vadumee used the Engineering station to set a Slipspace course to the sun. During that time, it was revealed that the Legate had become infected, and Rtas had to battle an infected Kusovai. It was there that an Energy sword cut off his left mandibles. He managed to escape two minutes before the Slipspace Jump occured. He is believed to be the only survivor of the Infinite Succor mission. He lost his right mandible to an engry sword.

Huntaer, could you create a character that's more of a 'goodguy' as well? I think it would be cool for Shelana to work for Galactic Genetics Inc as opposed to the UEF.

She works for anyone really who can give her the credits. By all technical definitions, she's neither good nor bad, just a bad temper. Especially around that time of the month (if you know what I mean). I was signing her up for the UEF (MSN at all?)

I have AIM, no MSN. I think she'd be a better fit w/ GGI but it's up to you. Planet Spaceball, I don't think your char really fits with the story- we are not in the Halo mythos. I'm not against having a Sanghelli; just a reason why he'd be working with the UEF...

History:
Erika is an Martian, born and raised (assuming there are colonies on Mars in this RP). She comes from a proud military family: Both her parents served in the UEF Navy, most of her cousins serving in various branches of the military. As soon as she was eligible, Erika signed up for UEF Infantry. After three years of commendable service in the Infantry, she was recommended for service in the Special Forces. She nailed the retraining course, and immediately began to serve on frontline operations. Over the next three years, Erika earned a reputation for being cool and level-headed under stressful situations, and for her dedication to the service. Several commendations, medals, and promotions later, she's ended up a Staff Sergeant of the UEF Special Forces, and another shining spot in the long history of the Martian Lynches.

Also carrys a custom built 4 barel assult shotgun capable of shreding an unarmed human in a single blast a heavy assult rifle that should really be called a canon and a modified hellstorm chaingun as a side arm as well as sufient small arms to equip a small army.
