Well someone somehow had to do it =D

John is going to probably switch to a M16A4 Rifle semi auto chambered in .45 ACP, and a Kimber 1911 SWAT pistol, for the CSOCOM has bought new equipment, and John's CAR-15, and Model 25 are going to a mueseum.

In reality, I wanted him to have a more powerful rifle and pistol for Mission Three, becuase, maybe the newer zombie's will need the stopping power of a .45 ACP!

True, very true. And I suppose we can't talk about it seeing as we don't know it happened either. *long pause* So...who's up for a vending machine run?

Saya of course almost jumped out of her suit when the jeep crashed in. She looked around, somewhere in between scared and mad, making her eyes really wierd. "Oh, hi Mechy". She said when she saw the jeep. "Do you have to do that all the time?"

Yeah Mick's fine with the 6.72 of his rifle, but the pistol's getting upped in a big way.

John walks in his Trojan body suit, and click's the charge of his FN F2000, and he say's "Hi, meet the new Zombie Warrior 2.0! I am Master Cheif of this squad." He sat down next to Mick and removed his helmet, and he asked "So, what do you think of my new equipment?"

Saya walked over to him and looked at the Trojan, "Say, where'd ya get that Halo suit"?

Mick looked at the armor and his jaw dropped, "Think I saw something like that in a movie once...very cool!"

"I'd love to see you running in that, And don't think about asking for a ride if your gonna slow me down ten miles" said Mechy.

John took off the helmet and said "Well, somebody's gotta be the "Master Cheif" if you will, seriously, I can run in this, it's some sort of material that can be light enough to run, but it will take .45 bullet's easily. I will be interested in seeing how this does in combat, I feel I am gonna need this."

"John can't run anyways, and he'd slow you down from his fat anyways" Saya said with her rather annoying giggle. "But I'm sure he can handle a helluva lot more shots than we can."

"You can have that, I'll take my tank, Everybody wins!" Daniel (mechy) said with a large smile.

Alan smiled and lit a cigarette slowly. Seriously, Halo-esque armor was all well and good, but he'd rather fight these zombies with no armor. It's not like they used guns after all.

"I wish I didn't have armor... I got my weapons, I got my cigs, I got my mic... that's all I need." Alan smiled. "In my experience, the people who end up dead the most are the people with the fanciest armor." He winked at John.

"Yeah tell me about it," Mick said, "At the rate these suckers are evolving we'll be screwed royally by Mission 4. Gotta say though. Aside from our helmet the Black Ops system doesn't hold a candle to that thing. Though in its defense it's meant for infiltration, not full scale combat. Either way, I'm in your fire team next time out!" he said smiling.

John smiled and said "Well, I can't run super fast, but I can run enough to get away from those Slasher things. I feel young again in this suit, mind you I am not invincible, but this suit does have air conditoning."

"What about me"! Said Saya, "I don't have a tank or Halo armor"!

"Really? I recall last time I played Halo Master Cheif was rather invincible and could hardly die if you tried" Daniel said teasingly. "and Saya has her magical eye colors"

Alan laughed. "You're a sniper, Saya. You stay back and pick the bad guys off. You don't need the armor."

"True, but a girls gotta look good killing bad guys, though I suppose you would'nt know that, would ya cig boy". "But, you're right, I'll stick with my 'magic eye colors', as Mechy put it".

"We'll see when your trapped in a corner with no ammo and I come in with my tank and smush the zombies" he stated to Mick. "Assuming my country gets enough Military Funding to get a tank, Can you believe my crazed dictator didn't increase the military budget in all this trouble?" he laughed.

Alan laughed at Saya. "Forgive me for not answering that question."

"You saying I don't look good killin zombies"? "How rude cig boy"

Mick chuckled, "That is pretty funny. You know, he'd better find the cash though. We may need it at the rate these things develop."

"We'll see when your trapped in a corner with no ammo and I come in with my tank and smush the zombies" he stated to Mick. "Assuming my country gets enough Military Funding to get a tank, Can you believe my crazed dictator didn't increase the military budget in all this trouble?" he laughed. Saya looked baffled, "So he trained your militaary to combat zombies, but he did'nt give them funding"? "Thats rather odd."

"Well, he did say crazed," Mick pointed out, "Besides, knowing what I know now, I'd rather train to fight zombies. They're more dangerous. My home country for instance can fight off up to two nations comparable to itself, but I bet it'd be overrun by a horde of zombies just due to lack of knowledge of the threat"

"I doubt it, He's kinda looney, He controls the entire country and when Uranium reserves were found under the rain forest he decided to save the entire rain forest! Our economy is falling down the drain as he decides to do the right thing more often then not, Some kind of dictator" Daniel stated with a passing hand, He had a steady job as they went in his country. And Asolan did do superbly against the zombie hordes...Thanks to the crazy dictator so he couldn't be all bad.

"And anyways besides the lack of money Asolan is doing pretty well, The infection level is the smallest of all, and less then a thousand people died overall the entire ordeal."

"Hmm... Good point" Saya suddenly hopped up from the couch and ran to her room, and came back with a long package, "I got some new equipment too"! She started to unwrap the package, and pulled out a katana. "I figured it might come in handy if a zombie ever finds my sniping spot".

"The Dominion's been lucky so far, but we have no protocol to deal with an outbreak seeing as we've never had one. The best we have are the few things I've sent via e-mail with my After Action Reports. This wouldn't be bad if Shenyang didn't have outbreaks. It's right next door," Mick said, obviously a little nervous.

To Saya, "Very nice blade! Got a sword myself, a nice gladius, though I never thought I'd need it. It's collecting dust on a shelf at home. This wasn't exactly the job I had in mind when my superiors told me that I was going to join 'an international counterinsurgency unit'. Such is life I suppose," he said shrugging, "My ammo shipment and higher caliber pistol have yet to arrive."

To Saya, "Hmm, Should work against normal zombies but I wouldn't recomind letting anything get close...Mind I kinda want to do a house of the dead reinactment on the field, Ever play that arcade game? Fun fun fun"

To Mechy: "I've never really played many games, the only ones I ever played were the ones my brothers had. When I thought of zombies, I always thought of either Resident Evil, or FEAR.".
To all: Mereshka does fairly well, mostly because our leaders not looney, hes a complete psycho. One minute he's giving us full rights, next minute he gave the scientists an OK to pollute our water for expirements. Ironicaly, that polluting, after killing a few million people, made us highly resistant to the virus. When an outbreak did occur however, he simply bombed the area. With part af the army still in the area."

"ah, Psychotic Dictator, that must suck" Daniel stated, "But I'm warning you, If I ever go on a mission with sunglasses and a black tuxedo, I may have lost it albeit just a little".

"I don't know, I'm thinking better off dead dead than infected dead," Mick said, "I just hope I can get enough information back to the government to be ready if and when one happens at home. One thing I've realized is this unit's not big on shore leave is it?"

To Mechy, "Pal, I'd pay to see that!"

"Hey Mechy, if you do do that what should I do to snap you back to normal"?

"Hmm, I'd say tie me up and leave me in the drop off copter would be the safest thing for me, I never did make it through a House of the Dead game without getting hit, Of course it'd be quite the show to watch if you didn't" he stated.

"Make sure the rope is ready then, just in case, but I have a better idea, we tie you up, and leave you where all the zombies can see until you come back to your senses, you are'nt getting out of the mission that easy"! "Hey cig boy, are you asleep again"?

"So you'd tie me up and dangle me over a horde of flesh eating monsters with claws as sharp as your new sword and can resist none piercing bullets? Nice to know I have good comrades" he laughed.

"Oh of course we'd apoligise afterwards, but not too much, we would'nt want you to think we were sorry."

"Whatever helps ya come to," Mick smiled, "And yeah, cigs hasn't been around a while. Probably poking around the water fountain. Here's hoping he doesn't get what the general had. I'm still using the men's room on the second floor!"

Saya laughed, "Thats why I'm lucky to be a girl, the only other one to use the Ladies Room is Emma. And shes not too bad".

"Oh, you would'nt do that to a girl would you?" Saya put on her best cute little girl face, "I'm terribly afraid of heights when I'm upside down!"

"Hmmm...tempting," Mick replied, "Just send someone to feed me and bring ammo every once in a while and I'll be golden!"

To Saya, "You know, I'm not commenting on that one," he said with a smile.

"then we'll hang you on some kind of rescue pad thing for carrying injured members, that should work for you, Mind you'd be swinging alot" he laughed again.

OOC: How'd the second and third wall get broken?
Saya then put on a pouty face, "Oh you guys are just mean, being so rude to a Lady".

John smiled and said "Ever played Medal of Honor? It was a good game, the music made me cry, and it was a fun game."

OOC: In actuallity MOH is a good game.
Saya looked, "Oh, when you finally start talking again, you mention the worst game ever? Ugh".

((The fourth wall is a term used as the lack of knowledge for characters, by breaking the fourth wall the characters know their in a story/role play, So they know they're just in a story, And I'm not saying this for the main roleplay just this place xD))

"Yes I played MoH, It was okay in my opinion" he stated.

"Any game where you get to pop the Nazis is OK in my book. Not that I've ever been known for taste," Mick chuckled.

OOC: No fourth wall in the breakroom, why not?

John said " My grand father ( this is the truth guys John said) was a prince in Prussia, went to the Boer War, attempted to shoot Winston Churchill missed, served in WWI, there he charged 5 trenche's killed 200 German's, and almost got a Medal of Honor."

"we arn't on real earth remember, Your grandfather COULDN'T have done that because there hasn't been a world war in this world...That I know of"

Saya looked at John, her eyes going red, "I'm a fourth German, jackass."

John smiled "I know this isn't a real earth, but still..... I say, if anyone try's to dangle me infront of a zombie, I'll shoot them and see how they like being one, so I can shoot them again. Hey, anyone got any Monster Energy Drink? I'm happy it'll be a while until the next mission, the last one was hectic to say the least."

OOC: YAY, broken the 4th wall woohoo!

"Very impressive record," Mick said, "Oh, on the chopper back, you had a story about a bunker raid we never got to. Care to share? And as for Monster, I think there's a vending machine down the hall past the broom closet."

Saya shrugged, "I got a Rockstar, but its mine. German killer". "Well, sort of. I guess. Ah well".

"thats it, I volunteer John to be the one dangled, Without any weapons mind you" he laughed. "and no, I don't find monster appealing, I'll stick with the overly loaded with sugar powerade and vitamins." Daniel stated.

"I agree with Mechy, dangle the German killer! Fire Fire!"
OOC: BRB, gotta eat dinner.

John said "Seriously guy's, are you going to dangle me, I hope you're teasing, and Saya, do you hate me?"

OOC: Gotta go for the night, school tomorrow could stay up. Really shouldn't...

Mick's pager buzzed.
"Actually, hold that thought on the story. Gotta go phone home. No rest for the weary it seems."
He walked out of the break room and into a room filled with computers where he entered into a secure session with the Dominion Government Complex.

John said to the other's "I'll share the story to you, Mick tomorrow., it was 5 year's ago, we had just had a communist uprising, it was the CCP (Calizorinstan Communist Party), and we had almost eliminated all of it, but we got hot info from intel that there was a bunker complex 5 miles north of our capital, so naturally they sent me and my spec op's, when we were inserted, all was quiet. We saw the bunker protruding, and we knew that there were allied spec op's forces entering the opposiste side of the bunker. We kicked the door in, and we got maybe 50 feet in, and down 2 flight's of stair's when we were pinned in by the CCP's MG-42 gunner's, we kept the CCP troop's at bay, but we were pinned in there, and we couldn't go back or forward, a very dangerous posistion as you know, but finally I killed both of the gunner's, but being heavily wounded, but I went ahead and cleared it out, and then we met up with the allied spec op's force's, then we grabbed some doc's, and ran the heck out of their, our F-111's dropped some bunker buster bomb's, and man that complex was history."

John said "Seriously guy's, are you going to dangle me, I hope you're teasing, and Saya, do you hate me?"

IC: Saya looked at James, her eyes flickering from the angry red to the amused deep hazel, trying to make up her mind. She sighed, "Only if you start flipping out and killing 200 Germans. My Dad always taught me to be proud of my heritage. But, then again, he also said that Hitler was a disgrace." She smiled, her eyes settling on the deep hazel, "Tell me why we should'nt dangle you, eh"?

((brb gotta mow the lawn))

John said "Well, I respect the German people, it's just that my grand father was kicked out of his kingdom by Bismarck, and well when it's war, you don't act like mister nice guy. But, but Saya, I am not excatly proud of him killing 200 german's, but I am willing to forgive you, if you will me. I am a valuable member of the team, and I know you're teasing, but I have a wife and kid's, and I don't want to die before I can raise them properly."

Saya laughed, "Okay, I'll wait till you get divorced and you're kids move out, and then I'll dangle you over some zombies. And yes, I forgive you."
OOC: Get that lawn mowed quick Mechy.

John laughed and said "You have a deal, but seriously though, now that you've seen the zombie's, are you really serious about dangling me over them, I mean you aren't right now (he laughed), but I am hoping that it's a joke. When I arrived here, I brought my Fender Stratocaster and Micro Cube battery operated amp, want to see it? It's just in this bag." He gestured to the gig bag and amp near him.

Saya laughed even harder this time, "Whats the point of bringing an amp out here? But yeah, I'll see it". This time her color changed to an even deeper red, but she did'ny seem angry. "Like I said. You still have to convince me not to dangle you".

Derek wanders into the break room wondering what he's been missing. "Blasted weather, interfering with aerial travel! Should've been here some time back." As he looks at the broken wall containing a crashed vehicle he begins to wonder if he should've hired his own driver...

John brought the Fender out and plugged it out and said "I will do anything to not get dangled, for I wish to die in my sleep of old age, listen I sure darn hope I can convince you to not dangle me. What artists do you like to play, I'll play which one is your favorite, maybe if I play it, I can convinve you not to dangle me."

Saya looked over at the new comer, "Who the hell are you"? She asked abruptly. And to James she said, "Put on the song Bleed by Cold please".

John started playing Bleed by Cold for her, having it in his memory, his finger's went all over the neck and said "You like my playing?" He continued and he liked it, but he could sense that she was liking it.

"Well, I might ask you the same, but since you were here first, I guess I'll explain." "Seems my government thought they could save a buck by sending me via dirigible. It's not the fastest method of travel ever, that's for sure. Shoulda been here yesterday, but we got delayed due to bird migrations. Apparently a goose coulda crashed the vehicle real easily..."

OOC: Yeah... so I was in the background for the last mission...
IC:

Emma watched the proceeding from a corner of the room. Her ashtray was near full, and smoke curled around her. On the table was a half-empty bottle of Cutty Sark, which she was drinking straight out of.

Emma gave an air of not wanting to be bothered, but, really, she was pining for her homeland. She really didn't understand these foreigners, and she missed the simple, straighforward talk of her countrymen and -women.

The guitar started playing, and she realised she missed another thing: the mandolins and violins of her own people's music. She'd have to remember to requisition one as soon as possible.

John contiuned playing and said to the room in general "If anybody has a song request for me, just tell me and as soon as I finish this kind lady's request, I'll do yours, after all I've played in a band, I know what i am doing."

Derek dropped his bag and sank into a chair near the door. "How about 'Can't Touch This'? It's an instant classic, after all."

John nodded and said "Next song is Can't Touch This, requested by Mr. Derek here...." He started the chord's for the song, and started playing it, and he said "I like this song actually, when I was in a band, I was in a hard rock band, and when I am done with this song, I am open to more requests.."

Saya then calmed down, and said "Very good James." She looked at Derek and said, "Oh, hello, My names Saya, and I'll be thinking of you're nickname. She giggled, "I can't say I like you're taste of music though." She then spotted Emma and said, "Oh hi Emma, we've been needing another girl in here".

John smiled and said "The next song you should know......" He started playing the famous A minor arpeggio that starts the House of the Rising Sun and said "Anybody recognize this one?"

Emma gave a small smile and stood, wobbling slightly. "Hey, there, Saya. How're you doing?" she said, slurring a bit as she walked towards the others.

She turned to John and cocked her head slightly. "Hey, c'n I see that for a sec? I used to be able to play one of those things..."

OOC: I can play House of the Rising Sun. Used to be able to do it keyboard, too...

"Don't like my music? How about Superfreak?"

John said to Emma, while handing her the Fender Stratocaster "Sure thing, I've got anothe guitar, and amp right to my left, we can play a duet." He pulled out his othe micro cube amp, and his Gibson SG.

"Don't like my music? How about Superfreak?"
Saya pretended to gag, "Ugh, for real"?
OOC: Actually I've never heard of it.

OOC: Can't Touch This was a remake of Superfreak with different lyrics, and by MC Hammer.

Emma raised an eyebrow at John.

"Well, I'm really not that good at anything other than GTR folk songs. So, if you know any of them, sure, but otherwise..." she shrugged. Meanwhile, she but the strap over her head and slowly started playing on the twelfth fret. After a minute, she remembered an old song her mother used to sing to her when she was small, during the days of civil war.

She forgot what it was called, but she started playing the haunting melody of it.

Derek looked at his watch and sighed. "Well, looks like command wants me to write a report about how obsolete dirigibles are. Better get to it, I suppose. Hope all the yellow tape'll be cut before our next little outing."

OOC:Looks like my professor wants me to write that paper...

Oddly enough, as soon as Saya heard the melody, she started to sniffel. "It sounds so sad". She said.

Emma hit a sour note and stopped playing abruptly. "Dammit. I'm used to mandolin." She gave a small smile to Saya. "It's supposed to be sad. It's an adaptation of an old requiem."

"Well, it sure works." She looked around and giggled, "Looks like John and Derek are asleep." She pulled out a marker, and said "I used to do this to my brothers". She then proceeded to draw girlish looking features on both of them.

OOC: Wow, seven pages on a spin off thread nt started by me, always wondered how I was going to pull off a storyline thread outside of the missions. Thanks RS.

IC: The strains of the moonlight sonata floated over the squad and they silenced and turned towards the piano. Edward sat at it, his fingers not missing a note. They all sat, silent as he continued until he finished and stood and bowed. Saya stood up and stared at him, her motuh agape. "Ed, I didn't know you could play the piano..." She said, searching for words. "Nor did I." He replied. "I just saw the Piano, and bom, started playing."

Waterfront Docks, Stryker Island

(OOC: QCS command is on Stryker island, a small island in the middle of international waters.)

General Lawrence stood with the Lead Medic, he had requested to see him, away from the base. "now, what was it you wanted to tell me, eh?" He said, pulling out a cigar and snifing it. "Ah, one of the last few from Aliston....." He struck a match and drew a long one on it. The Medic looked nervous and looked around before speaking. "Uh..sir? We,um, lost the samples. They're belived to be stolen....." General Lawrence slienced himwith an upraised hand. "You listen to me, this never happened." The medic shook his head. "But it did sir! And you know he'll have my head over it!" The General took the stub of the cigar and flicked it into the water. "How many know about this?" "Just you and me, sir. Wh-" His words were cut off by the upraised pistol, aimed directly at his head. "i've memorized the exact timing of the fog horn, just have to wait..." He said, pulling the hammer back quickly and silently. "Please sir! I ca-!" The fog horned sounded, and the report of a gun and the splashing off a body were instantly covered up. He holstered hisgun and walked towards the breakroom, hopefully, no one heard the shot....

OOC: Alright, for the next mission I've got my self a new kit.

Primary: H&K XM8 Carbine (suppresed) (heres thelink to wiki about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM8_rifle)
Secondary: H&K MP7 SMG (suppresed)
Knife: Smooth Edged Combat Knife.
New Armour!: Similar to the DARPA future warrior program. Meaning a variant light powered armour.

Mick stepped into the breakroom, looking a little pale. He looked around and noticed Ed and the new guy. The general walked in shortly after.

He managed a smile and said, "Wow, figures I go to file a report and the party starts without me," he walked over to the new guy (GTR),"Hey there, name's Michael Hawkins, Dominion Black Ops. Call me Mick." He extended his hand.

((My modem got stolen last night by my mother while I mowed the lawn >.> Ebil Mother!))

John started to play Iron Man, and said "Why hullo General, you're just in time for our little jam session, I was putting on some music."

Dagger 4 entered the break room with a soft weapon case in hand. This wasn't the usual drag bag for his MSG-90, this was much too small. A case of 6.5 Grendel ammunition sat next to this bag. He sat down with this bag on a table and stared at it a moment. He smirked at a note which had come with the weapon.

"Dag4:
Figured you might need something with a bit more manueverability. Enclosed is a present from the rest of Dagger Squad. There's also a case of 6.5 Grendel, AP of course, and a case of Match Grade Dectoral M9-APSSDS 7.62 NATO and a load of Dectoral M4-HLAPHE .45 ACP. We know, they're savages out there, we heard they had you shooting standard military issue ammo.

We don't have to say it, but come back in one piece okay? Dag5 may be coming to join you within a week.

Slowly he opened the bag and withdrew a well used, but still nearly perfect condition carbine assault rifle. His XM-10A2C had finally arrived. He took an EOtech Holosight from one pocket of the bag, and an AIMPOINT 3xMag and clicked them into place on the top rail. He threaded a rather large suppressor over the end of the barrel and affixed a laser aiming module to one side. Finally he affixed heatshields to the bottom of the weapon. He grinned menacingly, not actually realizing there were people in the room. he took a pair of mags and affixed them, so one was inverted, 'Vietnam style' and rammed one of them into the mag well.

"I think I'm fallin in love with this baby all over again." he said to himself, still unaware of the fact that the whole squad was staring at him.

Finally he looked around, and saw that everyone was in the room. He shrugged and continued to fiddle with the rifle, quite pleased with the gift he'd been sent.

Saya shook her head, "Wow, James is going Halo on us, Eds playing the piano, Mechy mows the lawn, Mick writes reports, Emmas being deppressing, cig boy fell asleep, and now you've got a new gun? Is everyone changing lately"? She asked Dag.
OOC: Wow Shenyang, this is you're first time posting here huh?

"I've been waiting for them to said this baby to me here, well, since I showed up. As for everyone changing... well, you haven't changed, and I'm finally normal, so, I guess not. Two snipers are normal... wow."

He looked up from the weapon.

"Wait, your eyes change colors? Like, really change colors, not just a trick of the light? People keep telling me they do, but really? Maybe I'm a little slow today..."

Saya shrugged, "Only when I get mad, which does'nt really happen that often. When I'm happy the're hazel, when I'm scared the're a lighter hazel, and then when I'm mad they're a red". "I'm honestly not sure why, it could'nt be a side effect of the chemicals our leader dumped in the water, because it only happened recently".

"Hmm, maybe just some latent gene or something. I never fully understood the whole field of genetics. Now that I think of it, everybody does seem different; could just be that we've only really seen them under stress, that makes a lot of people act different. Just look at my mission recordings. Here, I'm content, friendly even, out there, well, I'm unforgiving, and efficient. So that could be it."

He actually put down the weapon, as opposed to hanging onto it as he talked, which showed that he was starting to trust Saya. A big step with Shenyangi special forces, who are taught self-reliance as a virtue from day 1 of training.

Say laughed, "I don't even know the basics of genes, after my dad died I could'nt afford to go to school, so my only option was the military. It was either that or the waitress. And the population of Mereshka are'nt exactly respective to waitresses."

"Well, I say you made the right choice. From what I've heard, you're a helluva shot. I say, if you've got the talent, then you should do this job. Besides, this pays way better than a waitress, regardless of how they're treated."

He laughed slightly, his usual barely noticable laugh.

Saya looked at him, "You don't joke around much do you"? "And yes, this pays a helluva lot better than a waitress. They're are'nt any minumum wage laws in Mereshka so I'd be makin a buck an hour. That and waitresses in my country usually marry early. Ugh, marry."

"Its the work that does this to me. Twelve years in this business, and you start to change, really quick. Besides, new unit, no one I'm really familiar with, fine, I'll admit it. I'm a little bit shy. Part of why I'm a sniper, I'm a damn good shot, and I'm not great with people. The all powerful, all knowing Dag4, is shy."

He actually gave a noticable laugh this time, finding the fact that he'd just told Saya the truth to be a bizarre turn of events. He kept to himself all the time, except when he was home with his family. That's how he'd always been, and now he was admitting it to a young woman in a distant nation who he'd only known for a few days, she was a fellow sniper, but still, the thought was ludicrous to him, yet he'd done it.

"Okay, maybe i am changing. Personally, not just my arsenal."

"Heh, thats basically why I'm a sniper too. That, and to tell you the truth, those zombies scare the hell out of me, I hope I never have to use this". She said hefting her katana. "And besides, an all powerfull, all knowing Dag has to be shy, or else hes just a jackass". Saya was starting too like this quiet Dag.
"Say, whats your countries leader like"?

"I've only seen people have to go hand to hand with 'em once, they made it out, barely. As for the Chairman... well, he 's an elected official, named Alexander Murdoc, Chairman of the Shenyangi High Council, generally speaking he's pretty conservative, not exact reactionist right-wing, more like near-center republican. He's been pushing reform and reconstruction since the Revolution, back in the early 80's, he keeps getting elected, despite the fact others run, so I guess he and the rest of the council are pretty popular. I haven't met him personally, I've provided security, sure, but not met him face to face. Pretty soon, I'm thinking Shenyang won't have any remains of the Empire, except some rubble, and museums."

He was being honest, it felt to him like he was reading out of an abbreviated biography, but that's all he really knew.

"Sounds like I'm his biographer doesn't it."

He laughed again.

OOC: I can't edit my posts for some mysterious reason.

IC: "So, what about yours, so far you've told me that he's not environmentally friendly and doesn't care about the worker, which is a pretty morbid politcal situation if you ask me."

Saya laughed along with him, "Oh come on, you're not that boring hopefully. Our honorable Warlord Lekra never uses bodygaurds, I'm surprised noones killed him yet." She absentmindedly checked her equpmet again, and realised she was down to her last sniper clip. "You got any extras"? She asked.
OOC: I hope mission 3 starts soon.

"If its compatible with the MSG-90, then my magazines are your magazines. 5-round, 10-round, 20-round, or 40-round, your choice. If you need ammo, I've got a small stockpile of some of best in the world, and what they gave us."

He grinned, and waited for the response.

OOC: I gotta go out somewhere for about an hour or so, I should be back on tonight.

OOC: Got it.
IC: Saya clapped, "Whoohoo! 40 clips please"!

OOC: Lets get mission three started.

IC: well, since we're on the topic of leaders, the leader of the Union is a pretty stern man, used to be a Marine. Fought in two of the most brutal wars.

"Brutal Wars? You mean like Vietnam"?
OOC: Welcome back mate.

OOC: Thanks, got mission 3 up.

IC:
Yeah, wars like that. Hes very charismatic, he lead his entire platoon through the darkest days of the war, and suprisingly, most got out alive. The other war was a breif war on terroism. This one was total "You pound us, we pound you back." This got nowhere, so a cease fire was signed.

"Ugh, I hate terrirests, they have absolutely no point. Your leader sounds like a pretty great man, our leader simply bombs people, no matter who it kills. Well, how have you been, doing all your general type things"?

"Oh, why yes. You know, the usual. Boss people around, curse my office attendent for bringing me cold coffee, that kind of stuff."

Saya laughed, "I need an office attendant. Damn, I need an office!"

Ed nodded. "We'll probably get offices when this is all over, right General?" General Lawrence looked away. "Right, when this is all over..." He muttered to himslef

"Yay! I want a nice big office, and a huge window overlooking the garden in the sky that some poor guy had too put up there for me"! She clapped and giggled.

Ed sighed. "Yeah, I suppose we all want something peacful, don't we?"

"Oh come on Ed, don't be so deppressing".

"Heh, sorry. But if you can't remember your past, wouldn't you be a bit depressed?"

"Who really does remember they're past? Hell, I don't. At least not the first ten years of it." "Don't remember anything beyond the past nine years.

"Your lucky, I don't remember a thing." He shook his head. "Not a bit of it."

"It could be worse, could be damn worse, you could be one of the unlucky buggers walking around out there as zombies, I'm sure all they know is hunger. And who knows, maybe they do remember they're human past, but that would make it even worse, huh? Its no use grumbling about the past. Remember the proverb I learned in Mereshka. Non'Koru nisa. Live for today, and look forword to tommorow."

"Yeah, I suppose I should. Although, I can't help wondering what I did before..."

Mick walked in among somber conversation, "Wow, since when did the breakroom become the morgue? Oh, I took a detour to the vending machines. Hershey's anyone?"

"Whoohoo! Hersheys"! She put on her cute little girl face, "Can I have one Mick, please"?

"Sure thing," he said tossing one over, "General? Come on, I know you're a candy person!"

The General looked like he was lost in a daze. What could be bothering him? Ed wondered. "Ah!" General Lawrence said, snapping back into reality. "Sorry, I'm lactose intolerant." And then left the room. "Wonder whats bugging him..." Said Ed, sliding stoll up to the bar.

(Note: this takes place between mission two and three, so we haven't goten the briefing yet.)

"Wow, someone's not getting the Mr. Sunshine award...Anyone want his? Quickly, take or I'll have to eat it!"

Saya immeadiatly grabbed the chocolate and grinned at Mick.

"Whoa, easy there! Don't take my hand off!" he said laughing.

Ed chuckled and slowly sipped a glass of brandy in a snifter. Young people these days.... He thought. Then caught himself. He was only 28, what gave him the right to call them young?

Saya laughed, "I won't just as long as you always give me first picks of the chocolate."

"You've got yourself a deal," he smiled as he unwrapped his and took a bite, "If only I could find the kitchen in this place I could do one better than chocolate.

Ed stood up and slid the bar stool back underneath the bar. "I think I'll go for a little stroll, anyeone up for it?"

"Can I bring my chocolate"? Saya asked with a grin.

"Count me in, gotta work off the chocolate. Not exactly part of a soldier's balanced diet. I can almost hear my CO screaming bloody murder now..." He grinned at the thought.

"Sure, why not? I could always use the company." He went to the door and grabbed his shoulder holster. Holstered in it was a newer model of the Colt M1911 .45 ACP pistol. He clipped it on and stepped out into the cold sea air. "You coming?"He asked.

"One sec," Mick threw the rifle over his shoulder on its sling and followed.

"Wait for me!" Saya ran, dragging her chocolate and katana, and the rifle.

"Everyones coming fully armed, here I was, ready to take a quiet stroll down the beach with only my side arm..."

"Just call me paranoid," Mick said smiling, "But I learned a threat from the CO not to let Dominion technolofgy out of my sight isn't taken lightly. Nothing personal, just orders."

Saya shrugged, I just don't want to lose my stuff.

"well..." He said, slinging his rifle. "we do have to be a bit careful, cheif medical offcier dissapeared yesterday."

"Really," Mick said raising an eyebrow, "News to me. I guess we'd better."
He looked apprehensively at Saya. This was the one surefire safe place he'd known in these recent weeks. He was pretty sure it was just coincidence, but an outbreak on the island would be catastrophic...

Saya's eyes turned red, "WHAT! You're telling me that our own BASE is'nt safe!"

"Don't know. Remember that security footage the Security chief showed us? Remember how he was convienently transfered off the island? And then how he was found killed assasination style? Theres something more going on here...."

"So it seems. Maybe I should call for backup? A Black Ops strike team can be in here in a matter of hours." Mick said now more than a little on edge, "Unless that'd be too obvious. Think the chief knows anything about this? He seems stressed and not much get by him."

Saya was still miffed by the base not being safe, "Okay, what should we do ex-commander"? She said slipping back into her insulting nicknames.

"The General most likely knows about it. Lost personal are always noticed due to the lack of trainder personal in the field.... but maybe a garrison of military reulars would help."

"This is starting to get FUBAR, we lose the doc, and now we have to go on a op." D4 was not pleased, he found himself wishing his eyes could turn red, then they'd know exactly how pissed he was.

"Either way, this outfit just went downhill real fast," Mick said, the anger of being kept out of the loop apparent in his eyes, "We need answers dammit! Let's go for that walk. But let's give it a purpose. Why not try and get the scoop on just what happened to our CMO?"

Ed's phone beeped. "Sorry, gotta take this." He stepped outside for a moment and came back in. "damn, things are going worse than I thought...."

Mick let out a deep sigh and looked at Saya, "This may a very awkward time to get homesick, but at the Government Complex this sort of thing never happened..."

"Yeah, I've never seen something like this happen"!

"I wonder what he's talking about... I wish I had my surviellance gear on me."

He glared at the door. This was way out of control, he wasn't going to let this get so bad they started losing squad members to these disappearances, even if it meant getting his hands very, very dirty.

"nor will it happen again." Said the General, stepping out from the back door. "I've confirmed that these acts were none other than that of the balck river terroist organization. Head to the briefing room." His face maintained the same cold expression, except, it looked like behind that expression was something hiding....

Oddly enough, after she was done being mad, Saya got very scared. "What do you think will happen Dag"? She asked.

"Eh, its probably nothing." Said Ed. Probably some suprise for s, like on our first mission when he came with us."

"Here's hopin'," Mick said nervously, "Or we're walking into a trap..."

OOC:Gotta go, probably for the night unfortunately. Talk to you all tomorrow. Shenyang, anything important happens, you got control of Mick. Night everybody!

John walked to the de-breifing room and said "Do you think he'll give us medal's or some reward, after all that was a hard misson/...? to Ed and Saya.

"I don't know Saya, I don't know..."

John started and said "We left Dmitri behind in that place, oh god, he's not going to make the night, he was the new guy remember?" He looked very worriedly at Ed, Saya and Dag.

OOC: I gotta go for the night to, anyone can RP Saya for now.

"Oh god..."
He'd only gotten out of the med bay a few minutes ago, and he felt as though he was about to drop again at that news. He barely stayed upright.
"I never leave... a man behind."
He had to use every ounce of strength to keep goin and not break down.

John said to D-4 "It was more my fault I am guessing, but oh god, maybe the next set of chopper's will pick him up, I think we have survivor's guilt now, oh no!" John had use every ounce of strength he had to not go into a nervous breakdown.

general lawrence apporached them all. They were sitting inside the medical facilitys waiting room. D4 had since recovered from exhaustion, Ed was still in a coma. A dcotor came out and motioned for him to come into a sealed room. Right before the door closed, they heard the faint sounds of conversation. "..know what ...treatment....." "....side affects?"

"If he's not on that chopper I'm going back for him. I can't believe we could be so stupid."

Dagger-4 meant what he said, he could barely walk straight, he was a nervous wreck, but he was not leaving anyone behind.

"If only I'd stayed off the damned ramp, he'd have had time. That damned ramp."

Dagger-4 subconsciously catalouged this information. If this was a conspiracy, someone wasn't doing a good job concealing it. He was going to get to the bottom of this, as soon as he was sure Dmitri was back.

John said to D-4 "I am going back with you to rescue him, I won't rest peacefully until we get him back, even though the bio-mech's are there, I'll gladly face them to get him back, I am with you on this D-4." He solemnly looked at D-4 and shook his hand and said "Now, we're brother's in this operation, we shall not rest until we get Dmitri back and safe."

"You've got that right. We're gonna need deadlier bullets. I know some people who can get us just that."

John said to D-4 "Would you get me a better gun too, we'll both need a deadlier weapon and bullet's, us two should be able to rescue him just fine."

OOC: I gotta get off for the night, I'll be back tomorrow. g'night, or day, or whatever.

OOC: Good night, see you tomorrow!

"I'll see what I can do, what's your preference?"

The prospect of saving Dmitri was giving him strength, little by little, he was becoming more resolved to bring him back in one piece, or die trying.

Ed woke up in the med bay, clothed exactly how he ahd been when he'd been shot. Except it was a new suit. "Ah, Good Morning Commander Harriosn. I need to reveiw a few things." The doctor walked around the room, scribbling on his note pad. "Very good, you might ant to wear these." He handed him a pair of sunglasses. Ed, wanting to see what was wrong looked in the mirror. His eyes were red. "What..the hell..did you do to me!" He shouted over turning a gunrey. The docotor gasped and backed againts al wall. "The only viable treatment option available! And from what I can see, it worked out with only minor side effects." Ed snorted and took the sunglasses, then stepped outside to hear about a rescue mission for Dimitri.

John said to D-4 "Get me something that will stop those bio-mech's in their track's, and have it be a reliable and accurate gun, for that's the key to killing those mech's. Thank you, and if we make out of their alive, dinner and drink's on me." He felt slightly excited about going in on a rescue mission, for it was his first in a long long time, he felt like he was having a flashback....

17 year's ago, Lt.Macked is fresh out of Marine Boot Camp and on his mission, to rescue a highly well known Parliment member...

"Listen Macked, your job will be, once you get out of the plane, and on to the ground, look for Barry Aldwood, and shoot any animal's that attempt to kill him, radio your posistion and tell us his status. Good Luck Lieuteniuet!" His loadmaster said this just before John jumped out of the C-141,and into the wood's north of Julian....

He landed right close to the last known posistion of Barry Aldwood, suddenly he heard crunching, he whirled, and no one there, but he whirrled again and saw Barry lying down on a mattress, with some gun wound's, and he radioed " Barry's here, alive, I'll get him." Suddenly a gun shot echoed hitting Macked in the shoulder twice, but he saw the chopper come in, so disregarding his own security, he dashed to Barry, now underneath heavy fire from multiple unknown enemie's, he raised Barry up to the rescue chopper, and then as he dashed to the chopper, two shot's caught him in the leg as he was climbing, with one hand John pulled out his M1911A2 in a daring act of balance and defiance, and fired several shot's at the now seen masked men approaching the helicopter, knocking them off guard, and as he climbed up, another shot hit him in the shoulder, knocking him to the floor of the chopper. But he still managed to man the M-60, and laid down fire on the enemy troops. For that act he got the Medal of Honor.....

He snapped out of the flashback and said to D-4 "Yeah, that's my weapon's request, thank you sir."

Mechy walked into the break room teary eyed, "I'm never going to get my tank now!" he whined, After a group of enviromentalists went riding down the street on bicycles for a demonstration his dictator decided to do the enviromental thing and stop the production of automobiles and make them illegal, The chances of him getting a tank seemed less and less, As well as the fact he couldn't be a mechanic when this was all over if it ever ended.

He turned on the magical t.v. in the corner and put it on the channel for Asolan's news 'cause somehow this would pick it up (special tv?) and sighed. "Oi, Saya I think I might wear a tuxedo next mission, You better watch out:" he called out still moping a bit but trying for some humor.

Mick had stirred from his combat fatigu induced stupor in time to hear Dmitri was still down there.
"WHAT?!?!? Dammit count me in too! And Dag, I don't know if you ever heard about the original DM-32's, but they had to be rechambered to fit a smaller round due to issues in full auto. They used to hold 7.65 shredder rounds. I'll get a recquisition in for one of the old models and ammo right away. The .357 ought to work still. Forget just that mission, this whole outfit's FUBAR!"

Mick knew his hardware. The DM-32 in its early stages was indeed chambered for a cruelly efficient piece of Dominion engineering. The 7.65 mm shredder round, also called the 'swiss cheese round' was a 7.65 mm bullet with bladed protusions aerodynamically placed along the side of the bullet. Upon and impact and subsequent penetration, the protrusions would spring forward into a reversed grappling hook style configuration, catching on and slicing through any body part or organ in its path. A one inch entry wound would yield a six inch exit wound. What he didn't mention was the fact that the round itself was made illegal for human rights violations relating to the few and far between survivors of the round. A Civil Authority officer had used one to stop a triple murder suspect from running by shooting him in the leg. It was severed and badly mauled at the knee.
What they don't know won't hurt them. Besides, it's only to get Dmitri back...No harm in that right?

John picked up his guitar and started playing "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC, and next he would play "Freebird", he said "How's the music, I figured we needed to relieve tension's in here.

Saya shook her head, "ACDC? I might just dangle you for that". She giggled at Mechy, "Looks like I've got two people to dangle".

John switched to Bleed by Cold and said "If you try, I will shoot you!" He looked menacingly angry and said "Don't mess with an angry spec op's commander. I am switching to a song you like, and if you want to dangle me still, so be it, if not I'm glad." He relaxed and smiled at Saya, "That if you try I will shoot you was a little joke, with some truth to it though."

Saya laughed, "You did'nt have to switch, I'm just saying that ACDC deserves being dangled themselves. Oh, and one thing, realise you at the moment are holding a guitar, and I happen to have this". She patted her katana, but smiled to show she did'nt mean it.

John said "Ah, I wouldn't attack you, What other song's do you like, I can play most songs. I really want to dangle Britney Spear's ya know. I have been taught in Tae-Kwon Do, and ni-jt-su too, I've used a katana before now that you've brought it up......" He started in a flashback again.

7 year's ago, Col Macked and his 5 squad member's find themselve's surrounded by Red Sun group, and Col.Macked barks "We are running out of room, use your katana's NOW!" He pulled out his katana, and started slashing down the nearest Red Sun, and so did the other 5 member's, they were fighting back to back, and in fact the Red Sun group switched to longswords, and it was a sword fight for thier live's. "Run, there's an opening NOW!" 3 of the squad member's ran, but the 4th one decided to man a MG-3 mount, and he ended up saving Macked and the rest of the squad's life that day..

John snapped out of the flashback and said to Say "Oh yes, I used a katana in anger exactly once before, I just had a flashback, when my 5 men were surrounded by these men on drug's with gun's, they closed in on us, so we we fought with our katana's. Then one of my squad member's ran to a Machine Gun posistion and eliminated the men on drug's, and it saved our live's that day. I'll play on my guitar another song that you like, if you tell me it."

Saya thought for a second, "How about something from Killswitch Engage"? "I don't really know exact songs, just anything is fine".

John said "Okay, I'll play a couple of song's from them." He started to play a song from Killswitch Engage and said "The Head of my country's navy's son John Arnold is in a band, it's kindoff like Killswitch, and kind off like Black Sabbath a bit, regardless off if you wish to dangle them or not, he has flying fingers."

Saya suddenly jumped up, "I just realised I've got another katana in my room, I wanna see how good you are"! She ran off, and came back carrying a katana a bit longer then the one she used, she tossed it at John, "Here ya go".

John took off his guitar, turned the amp off and said " I sure hope you aren't actuall attempting to kill me, remember, it wa only 7 year's ago that I last used one of these babie's." He grinned and stepped into the sword dueling posisition and said "I may or may not be all that good, I have to get a feel for this now." He stepped back and did graceful slashing in air with it, did a couple of block's and said "I've gotten my feeling of the sword back." He stepped into the sword dueling stance.

Saya grinned, and got into her own postion. "Start"! She yelled, and she made a swoop with her legs, hoping to trip him.
OOC: Sorry for the late reply, I just took a shower.

John raised his leg, and avoided the trip, and then parried her blow, and he then parried more, and then he snuck in a strike (a non- contact one) on her stomach, but before she could parry it, pulled it right out, and prepared to parry any strike she would throw at him.

A very distant Dagger-4 entered the break room with three very large gun bags.

"Thank god for Dagger Team. Anything I need, 24 hours or less."

He placed the bags on the same table he'd been at the previous day. Unzipping one he pulled out a massive sniper rifle, one of the prototype AS-57 rifles in development by the Shenyangi branch of Accuracy International. It was designed to fire a 14.5 x 114mm APDFDS round using a Depeted Uridium penetrator. The only things tougher were bucky balls, diamonds, and diamond nano-rods. He monsterous weapon was accompanied by an even more disturbing stockpile of loaded 20 round double drum magazine.

"John, I've got an M-14, and an MG-4 here, which one you want? Both with 'silver bullet' rounds, like mini Abrams tank rounds."

He hefted the massive AS-57, all 30 pounds of it and its ammo, and smiled menacingly as he stared through the thermal scope at the wall. He could see through to the next room, and was watching the people there move around with an almost disturbing glee.

"I'll get ya now 'boys', I'll get ya now."

OOC" Correction, MG3, still can't edit...

John said to D-4 "The MG-3 please, that'll get the bio-mech's, I am just having sword practice with Saya here."

D4 handed over the GPMG's bag, it weighed easilly 35lbs. He took the AS-57 and put it back down, it hung off the table in both directions, creating a substantial hazard to anyone passing by.

"Every skill helps."

He sat down and began examining a loose 14.5mm round. The idea of a bullet this big was frightening to him, twice the energy of a .50 BMG, imparted to a depleted uridium penetrator moving at 1000 m/s, the effects on a target were beyond his imagination. This was the type of round that could perforate an M3 Bradley. He looked at the sabots surrounding the ultra-dense penetrator, if this didn't pierce that, thing's, armor, then nothing would.

John said to Saya "I have to examine my new weapon, hold the practice." He took the bag containing the GPMG MG-3 from D-4, and sat down, and opened it and said "I am holding a close relitive to the famed MG-42, this ought to kick some bio-mech butt, I'll probably be glad to have this instead of the F2000 when dealing with those bi-mech's." He took it out of the bag, and made sure there was no ammo and said "A very good gun, I've only fired a M-60, and that was once, but that once, was when I did an action that got me the Medal of Honor....."

"I need to go test this monster, onbviously its a little bigger than the msg-90. Call if you need me."

He walked out waving a cell phone.

He headed for the firing range, not that any conventional bullet trap would stop these rounds.

John said okay, and said "I got a call from my government this morning Saya, appearently, I am getting a 2nd Medal of Honor for being in this squad and rescuing a fellow squad member."

OOC: Sorry, I went out for a while.
"Congrats, both on the Medal and the gun. Lekra does'nt award Medals.

John said "Thank you Saya, this monster is 35 lb at least! But it will take down those armored bio mech's guareenteed." He dry fired it and said "I trust this thing with my life." He examined the 7.62 round, and was amazed.

Saya looked at the gun, "What will you trust when that monster runs out of bullets eh? I bet the ammo is to heavy to conveiniently carry more than a few clips".

John tapped his new Desert Eagle .50 pistol and said simply "This pistol, .50 caliber pistol, if the "Monster" run's out, however D-4 has gotten plenty of ammo, and we won't be on the ground for very long anyway, we're just going to find Dimitri, we might face some difficulty getting him out but other then that, maybe 2 hours or so." He shrugged, and thought "I hope I make it out of there alive."

Saya shuddered, "I know what you mean, those Super Soilders scare me even more than the zombies. I mean, with the SSs, they're human, you're taking life away. With the zombies I like to think that you're finally giving them peace".

John nodded and said "That's probably why I was qualifed for the Medal of Honor the second time, I just hope to god that Dmitri is still alive, I feel like it was my fault for leaving him there. If I die Saya, I'll die fighting."

"Dmitris with Squad 2, is'nt he? He should be fine. And no one will die. One thing I always dissagreed with about the soilders back at home was their philosophy torwards battle. 'Go into battle expecting to win, and you will die. Go fully expecting to lose your life, and you will live.'" "Sounds crazy, huh"?

John said "Yeah that is a crazy view your people have at home, Dmitri was with Sqaud One, he got left behind. D-4 and I are going in to rescue him I think if QCS Command will let us, I think that we all are very lucky to have survived the first 3 mission's." He wiped his brow and said "I am going to the soda vending machine over here, want anything?"

"I'll have a Dr Pepper please. Oh, and whats this Dag and you crap? I'm coming too."

John walked over and got a Dr.Pepper for Saya, and a Mountain Dew for himself, and walked back to Saya and said "Here's your Dr.Pepper, of course you can come, would you want to miss out on an adventure? I thought you wouldn't! Cheers!" He popped his Mountain Dew and toasted it and said "This is for a succesfull rescue ops mission for all of us, here here." He said this and then drank a sip of the Mountain Dew.

Saya also raised the toast, "Thanks for not arguing with me, my brothers would have flipped".

John said "You're welcome, clearly your brother's don't recognize your exceptional sniping skills! Anyway, three heads are better then one, the more calm heads the better I always say!"

Saya shrugged, "Meh, its not their fault. My only living brother secided to be a 'Proffesional Vampire Hunter', Jack was always kind of weird. And besides, you guys need at least one person who does'nt think with the hair on their chest".

John said "Yeah, I agree! I think you might be wishing to acquire a higher powered sniper rifle from D-4 though, those "Super Soldiers" are pretty hard to take down with a less powered sniper rifle though.... I have a feeling that the mission will be a success though. It seems like we're the only one's in the breakroom.."

"I suppose I could ask Dag. Yes? And"? (To the we are the only ones hear thing)

John said "Good, but I think it odd, I wonder where Alan the cig man, and Mick have got to? It's quite quiet except for us...." He suddenly had a chill up his spine and said "I do wonder why our medic disappeared though...."

"Well, as for cig boy, hes sleeping, Mick is doing something Mickish, and Mechy is probably crashing vehicles through walls." Saya looked around and shuddered, "You don't think whatever got him is still here do you"?

John shook his head and said "If it come's in here, I will fight alongside you, even if I die, it's better to die fighting then disappear like the medic...., if I was alone in this room, thinking about that I would get the creep's too, but since you're in the room I am not getting it, although it's a bit strange, and also the weird thing, this is the longest respite between mission's we've ever had."

Saya lowered her voice down to a dramatic whisper, "Do you think they got the General"?
OOC: Wow, 16 pages.

IC: John said "Nah, but I am not so sure what happened to the medic really. But one thing is true, I believe that if I were the general, I'd firebomb all those town's with those "Super Soldier"s in it with napalm, I'd doubt they'd survive that do you? This is getting weirder and weirder, first we fought zombie's which was weird enough, now we're fighting geneticly modified human's, weird is right."

Saya shrugged, "According to Dag, zombies are just genetically altered humans as well. I wonder if theres something else thats prowling around here?"

John said "Dunno, I think the only reason we survived the last mission was a combo of luck, skill, and the fact that the choppers rescued us in time too, I'd doubt that 2nd squad is still alive, I dunno though."

Saya sighed, "Satan rest their souls, if that is the way it is. I really hope Dmitris okay. Even if he was pretty rude."

John said "Yeah, I do feel sorry for Dmitri even if he was as you say, rude. I am glad we're going back for him though, I was taught in the Marine Corps, "Leave no man behind", and that's my motto. Yeah, when I was 23, fresh out of Boot Camp, my first mission was to locate one of our missing Parliment member's that got lost in the mountain's 32 miles north of the capital, anyway I was paradropped in, I found the guy, badly wounded by gun wound's, (He's still alive), and I called an evac chopper, and as I raised him into the chopper, 5 bandit's emerged from the wood's, and shot me in the shoulder, just after I put him in the chopper, and then as I climbed up, I pulled my M1991A1 out of the holster and fired 5 shot's to cover myself, and I happend to kill one of them. Then as I climbed in I was hit again in the left shoulder, and left leg, and it dropped me on the floor, badly wounded as I was, I grabbed the onboard M60 and fired at the band, killing them, and we flew off.
I was given my first Medal of Honor for that action, that was my first intro into miltary operations."

Saya looked sympathetic, "Oh, you poor thing, I bet that hurt. What a way to get introduced. But, then again, this squad was my intro".

John sighed and said "Definetly a shock, I thought that I would find the congressman, and retrieve him, and it would be a milk run. Well I wasn't counting on those bandit's, and guess who reccomended me for the Medal of Honor? That congressman I saved, at least he's grateful, and boy you're right the bullet's going into my leg, argh! That was 17 year's ago though, I am getting older, but I am still mobile. This squad was your intro? What a rough introduction then, to be fighting zombie's, and my intro was a rescue op,, with some unplanned event's thrown in." He took a drink of his Mountain Dew and put it down.

Saya grinned, "I'm the youngest one here, I turned nineteen during the last mission, I completely forgot about it at the time."

John grinned "When I was your age, I applied to join the Marine Corps then, ah I forgot about my youth, I am 38 now, ah the memories. Now, if I get out of QCS alive, I'm the next in line to be the next commandant of the Marine Corps in Calizorinstan."

OOC: Would'nt he be 30? If he was 23 17 years ago.
IC: Saya grinned, "You're getting old, I'm surprised you can still walk."

John said "The only thing that's helping me walking is the fact I am involved in this joint (QCS), before I joined the Marine Corps, I was in a heavy metal band long ago......."

OOC: Oh, yeah, sorry, math was never my best subject.
Saya giggled, "You? In a heavy metal band? Get real".

John pulled out a photo and pointed to the man in the middle doing a slide on the stage with a 1975 Gibson Explorer and long waist length hair and said "See that man in the middle, guess who, it's me! You can't believe, look at me then, and me now!"

Saya laughed out right, "Oh come on, are you kidding me? Was your music any good"?

John shook his head and said "I am not kidding you, I tell you, you ask if our music was any good, well, we were the most popular band in Calizorinstan from 1983, to 1992 well after I joined the Marine Corps, we were called the "Black Stones", and I wrote all the music. We were very popular Saya, very, infact we were in status effectivly the "Beatles" of Calizorinstan in popluarity." He sighed and said "I still own that 1975 Explorer electric guitar, I brought it with me, and I think I still know some of our songs."

Saya clapped, "Play me some of your songs! I wanna see if you Caloriniztions are crazy, or just crazy enough to work"! She plopped down on her stomauch in order to better watch the show.

John nodded and put on his 1975 Explorer that he hadn't played for year's, so he tuned it, and then he started on a riff similar to a combination of Smoke on the Water/Iron Man, and then his finger's started flying, and it was screaming, (the amp), he was doing load's of pentatnoics (rock and roll scale's), and then he rolled on the floor, and did a little slide, and rocked his guitar back and forth all the while, and he ended with a solo, that was a wailing scream, and he bended the string's and stood up ,panted, bowed and said "I haven't done this in 7 year's at least, and same for the guitar. What do you think, this was all written by me."

Saya was rolling on the floor laughing, clutching at her sides. "Holy crap, you headbanged, that was funny." After a few more minutes of laughing she calmed down and said, "But, it was pretty good."

John sat back down and drank some Mountain Dew and said "Yeah, I suppose looking back on it, it was funny, but as you say, it was pretty good, and the Black Stone's drew alot of crowds, the reason I joined the Marine's was because (he was sober), a terrorist group named the "Red Sun", packed a truck with oil, near our concert that we were playing, and they blew up, half the crowd, and we lost, our lead vocalist, our drummer, and the other guitarist beside's me. I was, beside the pianoist, we were the only two band member's that survived, so I was pretty cyncial, and I joined the Marine Corps to get my revenge, and it turn's out, in that story I told you earlier, that one of those 5 men I killed, he was the one that I luckily killed with my mid air pistol draw, the man that planned the attack on the concert. So in the end I got my revenge." He looked happier after this last bit of tale.

Saya suddenly stopped laughing, and looked rather glum, "Why is it that we do what we do for vengence? Can't at least one person join the army for the good of humanity"?

John said "That wasn't why I joined, I was going to join for that reason, I was just telling you how I felt at the time, and why I wanted (at the time to join), but before I went into the recruiters office, I decided to join for the good of the world and jumanity, it was just a feeling at the moment Saya, sorry if I wasn't clear. But those "Red Sun" people ruined my band career, but it was time to quite anyway."

Saya instantly cheered up, "Okay, its nice to know theirs one decent human out there".

John smiled and said "No, there's two decent human's out there, you forgot yourself!" He laughed and said "Let me see, I remember one other song I did, under a different band when I was in the Marine Corps, let's see, ah!" He started playing a slow but still rockish melody and he begun to sing this:

"The world is a sad sad place, terrorist's have just begun to see, that we can be taken advatange of by our fears, and the even sadder thing is that people join the military and police, for revenge. That's just sad, and it make's me sad too....." He stopped and said "That's all I remember of the lyric's, what do you think?"

Saya jokefully pucnhed him, "Oh come on, now I'm getting deppressed all over again." "But, it was better than the harder stuff. There are few hard and heavy bands I like".
