Places Of Military Importance

- The Royal Cove “Also Known as “Death Waters” (RL Yellow Sea)

An area stretching from the Benelux to past Duska, this place contains also the second largest military Camp in Honakon – Camp Hope (located in RL North Korea) – the Royal Cove is an unbreakable military protection ring around coastal defences of well over 100 miles, that has a mass of naval warships protecting it’s waters from outside invaders. It is well protected due to the economic power, military presence and importance to the King and population of the area.

Brief On Military Equipment:
The equipment of the Honakon military in RL terms contains mostly French and British equipment, however many aircraft carriers (around ten or so - to be decided) have been developed from American designs (with one Supercarrier, a flagship of the navy), plus the standard weapon of the Honakon army is the FAMAS (French). The Dassault Rafeal, one of the most advanced planes in the world, has become a common place in the Honakon airforce, and the navy is founded mostly from American and British naval designs – such as Ticonderoga-class cruisers and British style destroyers.

Discrimination –

Civil Unrest – Since Honakon began being ruled by it’s own Supreme Ruler, at that time HRH King Renauld from 1853 to 1874 (his death year) there has been discontent in Honakon about the Monarchy. So far five Kings have ruled in Honakon, and one, HRH King Henri Kennis, was assassinated by the DLA (Democratic Liberation Army) after just three years of rule in 1933. This signalled the popularity increase of the DLA as millions of people began to agree with them, though maybe not to there extremes, that the Monarchy prevented the country from improving. The Honakon Empire had the ability to be the world’s only superpower, one that had more economic might that any other nations – but years of civil unrest and Monarchy spending on lavish houses, material objects and show had prevented that.

Foreign Affairs – The Imperial Monarchy of Honakon has been unsure whether it should approve of nations ever since it recovered from its French and British invasion and occupational governments. The last time a meeting was held between a leader of Honakon and another nation was in 1890 – and that was only due to the problems of the Mongol war, with the Mongol leader. HRH King Nicolas R. Dubois, the current leader of Honakon, has decided it is in “the countries best interests” to open itself up to the world, but years of utter silence from the worlds economy power could have destroyed hopes for good relations with many countries.

Religion – In 1721 the French rulers of the Honakon mainland (RL China) demanded that all people adhere to the Catholic religion. Honakon was a white race then, and gradually becoming more European in there ways; however they disapproved of this relgion. Over ten million people left for the South Eastern states (RL Vietnam, Thailand) were there was British rule, as they enforced no relgion. Due to this, currently following any relgion in Honakon today is strictly frowned upon. They have an open relgion policy, but most chose to worship the King instead as there God like figure. Still, influences from other countries have still made it so around 6.4% of the country is classified as religious, with Catholicism still being the strongest faith with 4.2% of the countries people following that.

- To become the largest exporter of goods in the world
- To reach the $13 trillion economy milestone
- To make advances in military and modernize the ground force further so all of it's massive forces are well equipped

Governing of Regions – Regions are ruled by King appointed Governors who report to the King. There are nine Governors, and they take care of business such as the passing of law, how money allocated for their region is spent, and various other important factors. These governors are classed as some of the most important people of the country. However, the King and his advisors have the power to Veto any of their descisions.

City Biographies:

- Benelux
Benelux is one of, if not the largest city in the world. It has a population of over 40 million and is quickly rising, with also the largest port in the history of mankind. It is a business metropolis, contributing massively to the Honakon economy. It is also well defended, as it is around the beginning of the area described as the Royal Cove (read military to find out more). The population is protected too, as a massive underground network of tunnels, able to withstand missile attacks, has been developed to protect millions of the population. In the day time it is regarded as a sad sight, a massive, polluting metropolis, but in the night it is a sight of wonder, beauty and a beacon for capitalism.

- Jabero
Jabero was the historic capital of the Empire, and is located in South Vietnam, but the capital is wherever the King goes, and the one at that time left for the safe Korean city of Duska in 1942 due to bombings in Jabero. Jabero is often regarded as the most European city in the Empire, and the former Imperial Palace is made of pure Gold and the finest building material, and is seen as a symbol for the city. The cobbled city centre streets and beautiful medival French architecture do not disguise the fact it is the fifth most populated city, and another economy hypocentre.

Catherine Kult, the Advisor for Foreign Affairs, read out the three messages that had been received by nations of the world. Two of them from powerful nations, one of them from a rich corporation. Nicolas R. Dubios cared little for foreign affairs and other nations - for years Honakon had been internal, and from that he had grown an impressive Empire, a strong one both economically and military wise, that countries agreed to leave alone due to it's "sleeping giant" status. But, the people had called out for them to be more open to the international community - and to keep them at bay, he would.

HRH King Nicolas lay on a ornate red leather lounger in his Imperial Office, a room of so many wonderful things and lavishly expensive decor it would take a year to describe its contents. He looked up at Kult and said.

"Communists, capitalists? Are these really the type of people I want to be friends with. We are a mixture of socialist and capitalistic values, these people are too far left and far right for my liking." The King spoke again to Kult "And on to Calizorinstan - I know little about this nation but one thing - they are the biggest threat to our power. However, they seem more worried by us - offering a non-aggression pact to our nation out of the blue, these people obviously wish for a strong friendship. They could be good allies...I am planning a meeting, yes, for the first time in a long while a meeting of nations in Honakon...add them to the invite list."

Well, the modern equipment we offer is the R-series of assault rifles, the Z-series of 9mm pistols, our AH-2 Rooivalk attack helicopters, our Oryx-M2 Transport helicopters, and our Rafale-Cheetah multirole aircraft. We also aren't asking for a military alliance, because technically, we don't have one. We do have mercenaries, highly trained mercenaries at that, and we would just like an unnoficial aggreement to utilize them before any other PMC.

The Mining and Agricultural Sectors would basically like to survey and open up mines and plantations in your nation, then split the profits and materials with you.

We are not asking for an alliance, because, again, we are not a nation, but a corporation. We also want to say that there is NO better company to be supplied from than us, for we are undfer no gov't controls or checks.

Greetings to our northern neighbors in Honakon! For some time, it has been the policy of both our nations to isolate ourselves from the world at large. It appears, however, that you have now chosen to come out of your shell, so to speak. This is understandably somewhat worrying to us; though we believe that you are not one to provoke wars of aggression, we can never be truly certain. Thus, in the interests of securing peaceful relations between the two of us, we would like to accomplish two things:

- An exchange of embassies
- The signing of a Non-Aggression Pact

We have no wish to develop relations beyond that at this point, though that may certainly change in the future. No matter your decision, we thank you for your time.

Your nation is one we see as a future friend, however, NAP's are for close countries - not as a way of preventing nations you see as a threat, such as us who have no plans to touch you in an harmful way unless provoked. NAP's are, in my opinion, the end of a peaceful process in which relationships improve. I have seen many nations recently tie themselves down to alliances and NAP's, and they will soon realise that this could be an unwise move.

To be truthful, when the King read this he was quite in shock. It seems to him you view NAP's a stepping point to relations, whereas the common viewpoint in Honakon is that they are done midway between an alliance, after two nations have exchanged embassies and bonded diplomatically in various ways. Yet, you seem to just wish to remove us from your list of possible threats by signing an NAP, and then not continue to develop relations. We, as a nation, have every interest in forming friendships with our neighbours - if you had introduced yourself to the international stage earlier, you would no doubt have been invited to the Meeting of Leaders in Duska.

We will exchange embassies, and hope our two nations can work together in the future - but we will not sign any documents currently. It is the policy of Honako to be friends with nations who want to be, and who try to be friends with us, and you have shown that you have little desire for either from what we can gather. However, in the future we hope our trust will build, and we will sign that NAP, which could possibly develop into a close alliance.

We are not the USSM, we do not give away our friendship in an attempt to get people on our side. We look for allies who we can depend on, and who can depend on us.
