The nation of Oslea was a rich nation with well off citizens, and one of the strongest militaries in the world. Nothing could break it apart, due to the strong government and demorcracy, and the strength of the 3 branches of the military. The Oslean Army had been called before to wipe out Eco-Terrorists and succeeded; after that the might of the Oslean Army was proved.
However came along the Honako smoking conflict, which ripped apart the government of the nation and a fascist leader was elected. The country has not been heard since, until now. These are the recollections of what happened within Oslea of the 5 million survivors of what happened in between.

The fascist government is overthrown. Millions of people die in the clashes between Oslean military personnel and revolutionaries. People lived always being on alert, as Oslean Apaches would conduct surprise indiscriminate attacks on civilian and revolutionary targets, and the revolutionaries did the same with their stolen Oslean technology. 900 million Osleans out of 1.18 billion survive.

The revolutionaries attempt to keep the country stable but small skirmishes between fascist loyalists and the new democratic government kept the country from being in a state of peace. On this very day, an ancient monument was found in the center of Oslea; The Internecine. Little was known about it, though it was huge and surprisingly high-tech for something unearthed that belongs to an "ancient civilization".

New Government military troops spot flashes of light coming out of the Internecine. It turned out they were Peacekeeper missiles stockpiled within the facility. It was revealed to the New Government that The Internecine was the Oslea's former missile silo, forgotten in the times of the revolution. Fascist Loyalists were behind the attack, exacting their revenge on the Oslean populace for their losing role in the revolution. They fired the nuclear missiles on the rest of the country, killing 885 million.

The former greatness of Oslea soon vanished. Five million survivors band together, and trek to the Internecine, the only patch of non-contaminated ground in the country. The people decided to leave the shell of Oslea behind and make a new country named after the thing that started this all. The Internecine.

Finally, the citizens of The Internecine release all that they know about this horrible series of events that killed millions of people. The leader of The Internecine, has decided to send this message to the world to start off the revealing of the truth.
"Leaders of the World, we are the people who have been through countless days and nights of suffering for ourselves, our loved ones... We have seen more in one day than many of you have seen in your lifetime. Many of you wonder what has happened to the great nation of Oslea and why it has suddenly disappeared; we are the answer to that question. We are all that remain of it. We Internecinians, we are the remnants. We have the story.
We will once again rise as a powerhouse on the world, not as Oslea, but as The Internecine. Do not take this as a threat, though, we have already experienced the consequences of war in the form of 885 million deaths, and we would rather have peace. We wish only to restore our former glory, in our civil rights, in our environment, in our economy, our military... We just want to have normal lives again and make our homeland the place it once was."
