Official Announcement of the Allanean Government

This time around we'll be brief:

We need guns. Lots of guns.

As we already posess licenses for internal production aircraft, we have ordered 10,000 Lu-45-AF air superiority aircraft from Security and Individual Armaments Company. However, we still require the following:

For the Department of Education

At least 20,000 prop-driven attack aircraft, similar to the A-1 Skyraider.

For the Navy

Some form of premade battlegroup packages, as many as humanly possible.

For the Air Force

A company providing pilot courses.
Bombers.
Fighter aircraft and long-range A2A misisles.
Freefall bombs.

For the Strategic forces

WMD and delivery devices thereof.
Large-scale civilian shelters.

I would be willing to send large amounts of food on the condition you give us your promise that you would while fighting not do acts of attrocity or violation of human rights against the enemy of your nation.

I would also be willing to send doctors to You on the condition there allowed to treat prisoners of war and make sure they are not tortured.

In your search for combat flight education, the Accademia Aero will be happy to instruct any and all pilots you would send us.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of one of our major cities, Graffine, the Academy has had a proud history of producing the best pilots it possibly can.

Our airmen train in all matters of engagement: fighter pilots by far go through the most extensive training, incorporating Air-To-Air, Air-To-Ground, and Air-To-Sea combat training, as well as extensive Combat Flight Maneuvering.

This is not to say, however, that all the Accademia Aero focuses on is fighter pilots: bomber crews, AWACS, even Cargo pilots are instructed with precision and wisdom. Our belief is that through knowledge, our soldiers will be able to make it back home.

If you choose the Accademia Aero, your pilots will recieve the exact same training, and I assure you that all of your airmen will come back as well-trained, extremely capable soldiers.

The Maccabees-Allanea Foreign Military Support Treaty

1. The Maccabees will provide to the United States of Allanea 120 billion per annum out of it's Commerce Budget. It is to be spent only on military and dual-use goods and services produced in the Maccabees or by companies incorporated therein.

Despite slight trade restrictions between our two nations, we believe we can get away with selling you the A-36B.
A-36B Mustang Attack Aircraft

The A-36B Mustang, based on the venerable P-51 and A-36A of World War II, is the new answer to the attack helicopter. It can hold more HELLFIRES then an AH-64 Apache, out-maneuver a Ka-50 Hokum and it can destroy any main battle tank at a range of up to 25 miles away. When used in the close-air support role it has been designed for, killing tanks and suppressing infantry groups, it will most likely encounter enemy attack choppers. This is where the A-36 shines. Its 4 Stinger missiles, 2 sidewinders and heavy machine guns shred through any attack helicopter, and since this is a great dogfighter, helicopters have no chance in out maneuvering it. It is an all new semi-monocoque titanium aircraft, following the airframe of the P-51. Kevlar bonded to boron-carbide plates form additional armor around the crew and engine compartments. These are not vintage P-51s, they are brand new aircraft based on the old airframes. The engines are all new, as are avionics, targeting systems, radar, laser guidance systems and counter measures.

"Oh, these people."

"What do we tell them?"

"Tell them the truth – that we got submissions of similar aircraft on a cheaper price – so much cheaper that the Mustang is hopelessly outclassed."

"Okay. By the way, what does the Department of Education say about the Shanderese aircraft?"

"They wub 'em. They've been doing tests with Girl Scouts over Axackal and they're abso-fucking-lutely in love with them. Especially that deck bomber thing, whasisname again? The Talon, right. They love that one. They say they want to make a preliminary 10,000 aircraft order on them once they're done with loiter tests, but that they also want to inquire with the Shanderese on whether they can send people to give detailed instruction on the maintenance process of the plane. Some such administrative junk."

As the response from the Allanean government made its way back through the Bryn Shanderan bureaucracy, factories began to produce combat aircraft once again for the first time in many years. Since the abandonment of its Havenic territories, Bryn Shander's sole terrestrial holding was a bit of territory hidden away in the arctic, far away from sea lanes and other population centers. The need for defense was met primarily by the starships and starfighters that made regular visits, though the old wet fleet was still maintained to some degree. The two antique Doujin class super dreadnoughts sat idle within the harbors of the city of Bryn Shander and the city of Sigil.

Within the Principality of Bryn Shander's icy borders, war was the last thing on anyone's mind. Nonetheless, the factories began to produce as they had in the past. This time, however, the markings painted onto the planes as they exited the factories were that of Bryn Shander's primary enemy from the last time that the factories were active. An odd twist of fate, perhaps, that the same factories that once produced aircraft to defend against Allanean aggression were now producing the same aircraft to aid it.

When the first payments from the Allaneans were processed and confirmed, the first shipments of aircraft began. The distances were far too long for the aircraft to simply be flown, so they were sent via ship to Haven. With them went maintenance crews and flight crews to teach the Allaneans how to operate and keep their new toys in top operating condition. While the Talons would require all of the standard luxuries that jets needed, radial piston attackers and bombers were surprisingly simple to maintain and operate, being usable from the crudest conditions that could be thought of. Several squadrons of the piston aircraft were shipped with pontoon kits so that they could be converted to floatplanes and operate from lakes and shorelines. The payload was reduced by installing the pontoons, but the aircraft would be able to operate anywhere there was water, a beach, and a truck full of aviation fuel.


Back in the Principality, the factories kept churning out more aircraft even after they completed the Allaneans' orders. With the rate that Allaneans went through vehicles, they'd be back for more fairly soon.

We don't know how many shelters and just how large you want them to be, and frankly, we don't care. We'll build whatever you need.

As expected, the Allaneans had ordered more aircraft. Over the course of several weeks, they were delivered, much to the benefit of the terrestrial Bryn Shanderan economy. Thousands upon thousands of jobs had been created because of the Allanean orders, and given the rate at which Allaneans went through war machines, many thousands more would be created still.
