President Jahad, today made a speech to the whole Nation. "Follow me, for there is no god." The Leader has banned any religion, even the native religion Islam is banned. Yesterday, a private muslim community set up an underground mosque. It was discovered and the entire Muslim town was set ablaze and burnt to the ground.

The Minister of Interior was discovered to follow Islamic law and religion, he was arrested along with his family and immidiately replaced. His family is to be excuted on live National television.

While we are aware that sometimes the only thing these kinds of people understand is violence, we could help you improve your propaganda machine. It is one thing to declare the state to be secular. It is quite another to force the populance to adopt atheism. The policies enacted by the government of Jalabaland are in many ways similar to those of a religious dictatorship, only without a concept of divinity.

Minnechusettsfornia hereby condemns the harsh 'policy' Jalabaland has adopted against people of faith and their relatives. As per our consistent foreign policy of upholding human rights, and pursuant to U.N. Res. #26, articles 1, 8, and 9, until such time as the violations of human and civil rights currently sposored by the government of Jalabaland are halted, Minnechusettsfornia will enact economic sanctions against Jalabaland and all its state corporations.

Naestoria condemns this move by President Jahad of Jalabaland. Not only is the President treading the path of blasphemy and immorality, and dragging his entire nation behind him, but he is infringing upon the right granted humans by God to choose the means by which they would worship Him. We grant President Jahad twenty-four hours to rescind this foolhardy law; if our demands are not met, we shall emplace a trade embargo against Jalabaland, and further steps may be taken if our demands continue to go disregarded.

West Corinthian Senatorial Statement

West Corinthia urges all foreign nations to carefully consider their actions pertaining to this matter. While Jalabaland may be committing crimes by your standards, you must also consider the issue of national sovereignty. Particularly, we strongly oppose the use of UN regulation as international law. To some extent, we believe a country may outlaw what it wishes, even a religion. Though West Corinthia has never banned another religion, we do "encourage" our citizens to follow Corinthian Polytheism in addition to their native faith.

Nonetheless, I believe the only issue at hand here is the burning of the Muslim village. Therefore, we have decided not to take an official stance on the matter until a thorough investigation by the media is completed. Until then, we advise other countries to see what happens before committing themselves to either side.

Off the coast of Jalabaland

The Tolvanic flotilla known as Force J slowly approached Jalabaland. Force J was built around the carrier Lark and consisted of fifteen warships of various types, including four amphibous assault ships carrying an entire Marine battalion and a small task force from one of the Army's armored divisions.

For now Force J was simply there to watch and make Tolvan's interest known, but if the order came down to attack, they would be ready.
