The reporter sat quietly as the image across all the TV screens changed to black and then to an image of the Imperial Flag. The image then slowly gave way to a view of the men of the Shakal army standing in the assembly grounds of the Imperial Palace.

On the balcony hundreds of feet above the men walked out the Empress flanked by her Imperial Godess Guards. She motioned for all the men to stop speaking, which the did immediatly.

"Citizens of the Empire, today we learned that our friends, The Peoples Freedom, have been attacked by several countries. We are currently in no position to overpower the evil forces of Leocardia, but we shall offer our support in another way." The Empress paused. "We are going to war with Joethesandwhich, they have attacked our allies for no apparent reason and it is our duty to support our allies."

The crowd waited for her to finish. She lifted her arm and gave the Imperial Salute. Immediatl after a resounding single voice rang out, "Fur Die Kaiserfrau!" it rang out again and again in symphony with the saultes of the people as they cheered.

"Time to head off again is it you too?" The Empress asked her husband and her friend.

"It looks like it." Derrick said smiling. "Well be back soon, the fleet should crack these guys like nothing." He added.

"Bye!" The Grand Admiral said waving. Her blonde hair blew in the wind as she walked further onto the Shakal flagship, the 1800m long Samantha. The fleet would head out with the Expiditionary Army. They would make an attack into the enemies lands with heavy air support.

ooc: my nation is a confederacy of islands. as of the mobilization, each island has a fleet, consisting of 3 battleships, 2 aircraft carriers, 5 destroyers/cruisers, and multitudes of boarding craft. There is an airbase and barracks on each island. There is also a small militia of gun holding citizens operating.

I invaded TPF because of my ties with Leocardio and North Calveras, who claimed that NC was attack by TPF unprovoked.

The Shakal fleet sailed ever close to there destination of the confederacy's main island. The fleet would arrive by tommorow if no resistance was met. Derrick sat in his desk on the Samantha reading reports and various intelligence files. A knock finally jeered him out of his semi-consious state.

"Come." He said not lifting his eyes.

"I brought you some tea." The Grand Admiral said sitting down in front of him.

"Thanks." He responded picking it up and taking a sip. "I wonder how long it will take to get to there capital." Derrick said finally looking up. He looked at the Grand Admiral.

"Well, they will most likly run to a nearby island." She began to explain.

"I know that. The question is will they be able to fight after we secure there industry." He took another sip of tea. "And by the way, how do you like your birthday present?" Derrick asked refering to the ship.

"Almost as good as my 17th." The Grand Admiral repsonded. "But shes a good ship."

"I know." Derrick said. He had just recieved news of the Ambrose-Douglas help that was to assist them in this venture.

The Shakal aircraft were in a state of permanent readiness awaiting the tiem to strike. The men were always waiting for the assult to begin.
