OOC: I am attempting to restart this Rp.

IC:

The Planet Fatherland had turned into a fully artificial world. The once abundant biological life that once inhabited the planet had been purified into their new present form. The planet was polluted and had very little oxygen and had large amounts of methane and other toxic elements in the atmosphere. The new population was fully cybernetic and did not require the inefficient needs of maintaining the environment.

The massive metallic cities stood brazenly and proudly against the dead sky. The Cyborgs that had once been the citizens of the Totalitarian Union were now performing their standard tasks from operating, and maintaining the communications arrays to maintaining and operating the plasma cannon batteries that formed the planetary defense against invasion to regenerating for their next task. These mindless drones had now finally become absolute slaves of their evil leader, The Patron.

The Patron was an old man that out lived his time. He had refused to relinquish his power and kept his dictatorship firm and strong. He firmly believed his will was truly law and long ago forced his citizens to be implanted with slave chips. These tiny nano chips would attach to the subjects brain and force total obedience to the Patron.

The Patron had used these nano chips to enslave his entire Union and now he managed to find a way to upgrade them to become more than men and women. He had made them into perfect machines. They would obey him without question. Their free will was gone.

The Patron had achieved his dream and now had the perfect race. One that was strong, efficient, and a race that would obey him for all eternity.

The Patron smiled as he watched his children performing their tasks in perfect harmony and unity. The holo-image showed across the various worlds colonized by the Xharnians. The people in all of them had become Cybernetic and were performing tasks similar to the ones on Fatherland. The Empire was now fully cybernetic!

The Patron smiled and decided to give his children a new mission. It would be a mission he knew they would carry out efficiently and brutally. It was his will to carry it out and his will was law. The Patron ordered the A.I. of his flagship Dominator to patch him into the Cyborgs collective network. The network served as the Cyborgs command programming they followed it subroutines down to the last syllable.

The A.I. hooked the Patron’s Cybernetic brain to the network. The process allowed the Patron’s mind to slip from reality into cyberspace. This process was quick and eventually after processing all the data. The Patron started to write a new subroutine. The subroutine was a new one but it would have an impact on all life around the Yizar Galaxy.

The Patron gave the following order: The will of the Patron demands that all human life be incorporated into the Empire. The nonhuman elements can be exterminated…

The Patron smiled a dark smile as his brain slipped back into reality. His children were starting to receive their new orders and they began to process the new information. The Patron demanded that all humans be incorporated into the Union. This would mean they would have to be assimilated and the nonhuman elements would have to be exterminated. The cyborgs began to designate several million drones to the task. The sight of millions of drones beaming up to hundreds of warships in orbit of several cybernetic worlds was becoming a common sight.

In the next month the fleets of the Cyborgs would leave their territory and begin hunting for their targets. The United Cyborg Empire had begun its first march to war….

An explosion rocked the bridge of a DO frigate. A wall's worth of panels collapsed into a heap of fused circuitry and rubble, frying the operator. A stream of compressed oxygen blasted forth from the environmental systems nearby, causing one of the crew to be sent flying into the nearby turbo lift.

"Where did they come from?"

The captain shouted as he watched three vessels on the digital display in front of him. He held on tight as he punched in commands on his chair's control console. Blasts of energy filling his view as the weapons impacted on his vessel's shield grid, sending ripples of light across its surface.

"I don't know sir. They must've hid their signature by using the nearby ion storm to get behind us."

The initial attack smashed the engines, nullifying the ship's FTL capabilities. They were stuck in an open section of space against superior odds. Their own weapons were firing back wildly, trying to ward off the pack hunters.

"Send out a distress call and then tell the crew to abandon ship... the escape pods have Hyperspace engines, we should be able to escape full destruction."

With that the transmission of a new enemy was sent off into the far reaches of space. A plume of plasma a few minutes later signaled the first kill of the Cyborgs and the start of their first war.

OOC: I am going to assume your nation is a non human civilization. We would most likely try and incorporate you into the Empire if you were a human species. The non human aliens are the ones the Cyborgs are trying to destroy in the name of Galactic Order!

IC:

The Imperial Cybernetic Armada had been broken down into various fleets and task forces. The breakdown was to provide a more flexible command structure for the Imperial Cybernetic Forces. The fleets were given a dominant A.I. program to command and control the lesser task force A.I. programs.

The various A.I. programs began to chart and record their areas of space. The first encounter with any sort of sentient life was designated area 000205693 about 95 light years away from the outer borders of the Empire.

The task force that had dispatched the DO frigate was part of a scouting force hunting for viable targets for incorporation and or termination. The scouting force was given the designation of # 0666 made up of three frigate class vessels armed to the teeth with plasma based weaponry. The Frigates had come into the system cloaked with a specialized cloaking field designed to hide their presence from sight. The Ion storm provided the perfect cover for the surprise ambush…

The three ship strike force quickly de-cloaked behind the Draconic Order vessel and opened fire in an attempt to disable their vessel to allow the coming fleet a chance to scan their vessel and make a judgment on how to proceed with the organic crew inside.

The only problem was that the A.I. program of this force was overly zealous and gave orders to use full power on the Plasma Cannons. The Imperial Cybernetic vessels opened fire and caught their prey unaware and totally unprepared for the incoming ambush.

The vessel’s sensors detected that the enemy vessel was crippled in the first couple of strikes but the aggressive A.I. system continued to order the Cyborg vessels to continue their attack until the enemy vessel ceased to function….

The escape pods were noticed by the Cyborgs sensors but their FTL capabilities had surprised the scouting group and their sudden jump into hyperspace made it impossible to catch them outright. The scouts began to follow their wounded prey in an attempt to locate their civilization and to relay the information back to the advancing Armada…..

((Humanoid dragons... some look very human, some don't.))

The Dominion isolated itself after the last major war, rebuilding its forces and just patrolling its own borders. The expansionist ways of the old Order were replaced with one of ruling the already broad territory under its control. Its small population of around 10 billion, spread over several light years, needed to consolidate their forces in order to secure the borders.

The initial strike was a sudden blow to the ego of House Kharaan, one of the three noble houses of the Draconic Order. Its scouting arm was crucial to controlling the defenses of the borders. With a vessel destroyed close to the gas rich nebulas of the Iou territory, a major resource was in danger of being captured by an unknown force. The House called in all fleet elements in the sector, a massive undertaking, but thankfully to them there was already a patrol in Iou that could find out what was going on.

The mining station Tiberius, situated in a section of the Iou nebula, retrieved about a dozen escape pods from the destroyed scout. The crew was put on a transport to Iou's shipyard facility, located in an asteroid field in the outer rim of the system, to be reassigned to another ship. In the mean time, Tiberius transmitted the orders from House Kharaan to its defense fleet, seek out the disturbance.

The Seraphim, a Verthica Class Capital Ship, was in the system on its own patrol. He had been assigned the duty to oversee resource harvest and shipbuilding operations in this sector, Iou was his last stop. Captain Pala'din (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/azureink/Dungeons%20and%20Dragons/PCPortrait14_284_300.jpg) was contacted to lead the hunt. He rendezvoused with the defense fleet of the heavy cruiser Tiberius II, three frigates, and half-dozen corvettes.

Only one day after the destruction of the scout, they had set out for its last known position.

OOC: My forces are going to be a tad slower due to the inflexible command structure of being run by ship A.I. programs and the fact I am moving a larger force in an attempt to Terminate your civilization.

IC:

The three scout ships had followed the escape pods from a good distance. The frigates had remained cloaked to avoid being detected as they made an estimated guess on the location of the target civilization. This information was coded and sent via the Cybernetic network and in a matter of a few seconds the United Cyborg Empire was aware of the possible locations of this unknown civilization.

The Imperial Cybernetic Armada designated a force of two Imperial fleets to begin possible termination actions against this unknown people. The Fleets were led by highly aggressive A.I. systems designed for the extermination process of creating the new Galactic Order. The rest of the Imperial Cybernetic Armada were to be placed into reserve and to continue search and destroy actions across the outer frontiers of the Empire’s space…

The lead A.I. of the arriving Fleets decided to her forces to the same star system that the DO ship was first ambushed in. This maneuver would allow the Cyborg forces a chance to mobilize at one spot before the initial push into the unknown void of space. This process would take time and would require a bit more effort for the Cyborg forces. They had to send their orders down the change of command of various networks until every ship was in harmony and in a matter of three days time this large cumbersome force would enter the system with about 2,000 ships of various sizes and classes..

((2000 ships! It's going to take a lot of battles to fight this war. Thankfully I've existed on Nationstates long enough (about two years now) to fight with cloaking technology.))

Unfortunately for the ICA, the Dominion had existed with cloaking technology for over a century, and as such, developed ways of detecting cloaked ships. Since the ICA was relatively new, the cloaking technology they employed was probably not as advanced, and therefore more easily detectable. The investigative fleet detoured to the area with the three scouts and engaged them.

The void was ripped wide as tunnel apertures opened within several kilometers of the ICA scouts. Twisting strands of misty vapor parted around the DO vessels as they exited from subspace. Within moments, a burst of color, and a spike in energy levels signaled the activation of shield systems. Bubbles of iridescent blue and green flashed around the warships, encircling them within their protective power. The grinding sound of turrets, the electro-stabilizers powering up, could not be heard in the soundless void, but could be seen as they rotated to face their opponents...
