Note: Don't confuse this with the NS alliance COMECON-SD. The naming is similar but the organizations are entirely different and occur in different RP worlds.

The Council for Mutual Economic Assistance, or CEMA, was the economic bloc that the members of the Warsaw Pact participated in to attempt to create a common market for the socialist nations of the world. Headquartered in Moscow, it was the nexus for economic cooperation in the Eastern Bloc and presided over nearly 450 million people and over 20% of world economic output.
For RP purposes, I plan to recreate the CEMA in order to consolidate economic and trade relations among the socialist nations. Unlike the historical CEMA, this organization will be different to reflect the historical divergence between history and the alternate history of CW 2007.
Requirements are as follows:
1. Must be a socialist nation and/or a nation aligned with the Warsaw Pact
2. Must be willing to provide economic assistance to other member states
3. Must be willing to coordinate economic planning (in other words, producing what other members need).
4. Must be willing to provide goods and resources at market or under market prices to other CEMA members.
Members:

OOC: The benefit of this organization is that nations get more goods or resources for their money, but those resources do not fetch as much when sold; in other words, you get more goods but less cash than if you sold them on the market. Another benefit is that poor nations can get considerable economic aid from the organization
The main drawbacks are that your nation can't earn as much off of exports in dollar terms and that some economic decisionmaking is subverted to the CEMA. In addition, larger economies in CEMA carry more weight and can influence smaller or poorer members to their own advantage.
