King Almed Alahir Zihirad IV has issued the declaration of war before the Harias Congress after a week long series of increasing Yizhki and Nationalist violence. Last week the Kingdom of Biridiya broke up into a loose collection of non recognized states consisting primarily of the Yizhki peoples. After the succession of these provinces local groups consisting of Biridiyan Nationalists whom are citizens of the state of Biridiya who oppose the succession have attacked these seceded enclaves. The Biridiyan Nationalists have protested before the government for military action. For the past week nothing was done in the Harias Congress after a dozen members representing the now seceded provinces abdicated their positions.
King Zihirad spoke before the public on the past events and the succession of the Yizhki provinces. In his statement he described the actions of the Yizhkis as "a treasonous act before the state of Biridiya" and that "the Yizhki peoples have not a reason in the world to break off from the Holy Union of the Kingdom". Zihirad's declaration of war stems from the increasing violence on the streets as citizens of either the Nationalist or Yizhki group fight each other. Several towns in the Fahdia Province were mercilessy burned to the ground by Yizhkis as they forced Nationalist citizens to move. King Zihirad ordered the mobilization of military forces to peacefully separate the Nationalists and the Yizhkis. Zihirad has ordered the peaceful evacuation of Nationalist citizens still residing in the Yizhki provinces.
King Zihirad ordered Yizhki province militas to stand down during the evacuation. Zihirad issued a statement to the outside world that the "situation arising in Biridiya is well under control and peaceful measures are being taken". Zihirad replied to the question of possible foreign involvement and support of the Yizhki peoples. "Any soveriegn nations supporting and aiding the disloyal acts of the Yizhki peoples will be assumed an enemy of the state and will be dealt with military force"
