History of Argentina
Following the coup against Isabel Perón, the armed forces declared that an immediate election be taken. Raúl Alfonsín won the election and became the President. He made numerous economic and social reforms that made Argentina grow. An economic boom happened in Argentina and most of the citizens were living the good life. Though it almost came to an end when it seemed as though Argentina would reclaim the Falklands Islands, but it was just mere rumors made by the opposition.
Through the 80s and 90s many Argentine presidents made peace with their surrounding neighbors and secured a stable South America. In 1995 Argentina declared themselves neutral in the World's events, and gave a notice to all countries to remove their citizens either from their embassies or consulates. Though in 2003, with the election of President Nestor Kirchner, the President has tried to open up Argentina. Most Argentine only see a brighter future for Argentina.
