The proposal is quite simple. Our engineers have created the desings for two basic models, the light combat Mecha called the Legionaire and the Heavy the Praetorian Guard model

Legionaire Model:
20 tons
Armor 5 tons, made of titanium-steel alloy
Weapons: two shoulder mounted .50 caliber machine guns
handheld rocket machine gun (acts like a .50 caliber machine gun, but shoots various missle loads: Phosuphotus, Bomblet loads and guided missle)
Left Arm: Flame thrower, fueled from the back by napalm resevoire
Speed: walking-35 mph
Running-75 mph

Basically a model desinged to scout and is more versatile over broken or irregular ground then tanks.

The Legionaire designs are made for patrol, scouting and basically to support and compliment infantry and to intensive firepower by a factor of 10 to a typical infantry unit. Good for overwatch missions and for sentry duties.

Praetorian Guard Model
75 tons
45 tons of titanium steel armor plating
Weapons: two shoulder embeded Long Range Missle launchers, each shoot 20 missles from an internally loaded magazine; suited for Phosophurus, Bomblets and guided missles
Hand held Particle Projection Carbine, fuelled from nuclear reactor used to power movement. Basically it shoots man made lightning, so think of a lightning bolt striking a tank or other combat vehicle
Chest plate embedded Bomblet launcher: basically shoots a missle that explodes 150 yards from the Praetorian Guard, and scatters small anti-personal bomblets in a 180 swath 20 ft wide

Praetorians are slower

Speed: walking-25 mph running -45mph

This model is good for taking on aircraft, for heavy assaults on fortified encampments, taking out tanks and combat vehicles. It should be used for withdrawls of troops under fire (laying down cover fire), and for missle aistrikes against enbemy positions.
