Intelligence

One of the highest funded intelligence agencies in the world, the Swedish Intelligence Agency rivals the Mossad on effectiveness, the KGB on loyalty and secrecy, and the CIA on technology. The SIA can also make the use of the Swedish Home Guard, and due to different laws in Sweden than America, can shoot suspects on sight without proof, which has greatly contributed to their effectiveness.

Official Communiqué

To Sweden:

We propose a strategic exchange of commodities for our mutual benefit. If the FNR is allowed to purchase military goods and uranium, we will provide our illustrious Swedish neighbours with both petroleum and natural gas, in addition in to laxing border controls between our nations. RE: Proposal

We think that this proposal suits our nation well. We find that in this weary hour, it is best when one can do all he can to help his neighbors. We find it especially so with you, being that you are allied with NATO, as are we. We wish to invite you to establish an embassy here, and we will be sure to do the same in your fine nation. As for the proposal, we wish to commence trading at once.

Sincerely,
Demokrati Republiken av Sverige

Very well. We see that you and the Americans are more open-minded than Britain, at least. If you would like to establish an embassy in Moscow, then the same conditions will apply. We would also like to request a special detachment of your armed forces to help guard our embassy, as we feel five guards may not be sufficient.

Naturally, members of the Swedish Home Guard will aid your guards. They will also be the ones charged with keeping your ambassador "in-line."
