1.Goverment:
After the recent election's in June 2006, with a new head of state in power, King Dan-Gun the 2nd, relation's were quickly blocked off with North Korea, the DMZ had much tighter security. Thus the new goverment was somewhat ruled like the old one, but a new type of council, similar to Parliment was created, called the "King's Council" which made new rule's, with his approval of course, and thus election's for leader's were stopped, but there was still public election's for "King's Council" member's, and for assemblymen also. Freedom of speech remained in place, thus it's referred to as a "Democratic Monarchy", and it established relation's with Japan, thus moving the two countries closer together in relations. There is debate of having a new currency, like a dollar, paper, to be called the "Gun to replace the won, but it's up for debate in the "King's Council.
Please don't post until I am finished, this look's uncomplete, but it's a WIP, so keep that in mind as I go along.

2. Military
In 2006, when Dan-Gun the 2nd was elected, he did a total reform of the miltary, the regiment's staying the same, except one was created called, "The King's Brigade" it was an elite regiment, and it was one of the most loyal regiment's to the king, and thus had newer equipment then the others.
