The Solarin Confederacy is a massive and sprawling nation, composed of the once rival factions of the Solarin League, and the Terran Dominion, united under the banner of the Confederacy for mutual benefit.

Korpulu:

The birthplace of the Terran Dominion, the Korpulu Cluster was a penal colony of epic proportions. Now home to the vast shipyards at New Gettysburg, and the proving grounds at Tarsonis, it is the home of the primary fleet bases of the Confederacy, making it a major target, as well as the second most solidly defended point in Confederate space.

New Dixie:

The star cluster known to the Solari as "New Dixie" is actually a recent addition to their holdings, claimed as it was during the brutal AI Wars. It now includes the entirety of the original Solarin League, as well as the 11 inhabited systems that make up New Dixie itself. The home of the majority of the government, and the military command structures makes it the single most important piece of territory owned by the Confederacy,. and it is accordingly well armed.

The Confederate Military is an almost unparalleled combat machine. The high mobility ACS, and Marines, combined with the Army on the ground make iot a nearly unstoppable force on the ground. In space, the brutal firepower of its capitol and supercapitol ships makes it a deadly contender in any battle, boasting weaponry capable of reducing entire planets to atomic rubble in mere minutes, or fleets into ples of vaporous metal in a similarly short time.

Army:

The 14 Divisions of the Confederate Army make up the majority of its ground combat capability, providing the largest number of bodies, and the greatest pool of ready reserve in case of emergency. Each division is composed of 4 full sized brigades, and may have additional support/special units attached as necessary.

ACS:

The smallest arm of the ground forces, the ACS Fleet Strike Regiments are the elite, though in total they number no more than 3 divisions, they provide a disproportionate amount of firepower to their numbers, due almost entirely to the incredibly expensive, heavy, and deadly powered armor in which they are encased.

Marines:

Confederates Marines are often society's dregs, criminals, or those dishonorably discharged from other services and given one last chance. Very few Marines are ever mustered out, though the 5 Marine Divisions make a deadly addition to the military, supplying both able bodies, an iron will, and a fair balance between the nigh invulnerable ACS and the lightly armored Army. The Marines are the branch with the oldest tradition of service, but have lately become a dead end, nearly suicidal branch, deployed when it's too dangerous to risk ACS and the Army both. There are always more bodies that can be put into Marine Armor.

Navy:

The fleets of the Confederacy are a truly bizarre thing. Numbering nearly 3,000 ships strong, the variety permitted by the government makes any engagement a wonder to behold, as each of three possible designs is likely to be engaged in any one encounter, especially when units are drawn from both Korpulu and Solrain space, where the design differences are greatest. All ships boast powerful drives and massive Graser or Xaser batteries, as well as a variable number of missiles, and in some cases even exotic particle beam weaponry.

The Confederate Navy:

Composed of some of the most powerful vessels in known space, the peerless might of the Navy is limited by their numbers, though when any number of capitol ships are brought to bear, it is a truly devastating effect. With but 100 capitols, and a further 30 supercapitol ships, the raw power embodied in each has been optimized, just as it has in the remainder of the navy.

Army:

The Confederate Ground forces are composed primarily of the Army, and its 14 Line Divisions. The primary armor and infantry formations of the Confederacy are the army, and while not the elite of the Marine Corps, or the ACS, they serve as a solid and capable field army when needed, with light kinetic reactive armor, and limited protection energy screens, an infantryman of the Confederate Amy is a capable adversary.
