I've been wondering if theres anyone around here who will be in an RP that's NOT a future tech? It seems to me theres been a lot of those around for a while.

Same. Never planned to go FT, never had the dedication for it. Too much time, plus I wouldn't know what was godmodding or not in an age of shields and planet-glassers...

Plus you can't look up the stats, if there were, then you would have to think out of mind and imagine a FT crusier. I rather take all that stress and be able to research them on Google.

Actually, that sounds like fun. Haven't done one, but RPing swordfights and such like I think I could hack.
And Leocardia, I agree. I find it much nicer to be able to read a journal and think "oh, that might be good to research and see if I can apply it to, oh, I don't know, a tank or ship" rather than have to assume that an idea isn't BS because physics has shot out of the window...
Oh, and I'll bump this in the afternoon for the rest of us UKers who come on in the evening...
