The time has come.
Here on December 1st, 1860, in the halls of Congress, the states' legislators are hotly debating the issue of secession. For the most part, the Southern states are for it, and the Northern against it. Having already freed the slaves, the conceptual "Confederate States of America" can all but count on foreign support in the forms of the British Empire and the French Republic. Now, it is serious, the states now must declare to which nation their loyalties lie. The federal republic of the United States of America, or the soon-to-be loose confederation of the south.
The world powers around the globe had to have their say as well, and messages were quickly leaving the European capitals bound for the states.
(Basically, the states are staying with whom they realistically sided, and this is for European powers to declare with which nation they align themselves with.

Abraham Lincoln paced his office thinking of how this could happen in his first couple days in office states where leaving the Union. He was so angry to know that Confederate States of America (CSA) had been formed to start a new country of rebels who fought for there rights like so many did before in the Revolutionary War.

On behalf of this rebellion President Abraham Lincoln has requested that you do not aid these "rebels" from the south. The President fears that once you give them weapons they will start a huge war that will destroy America. If you join the Union you will be granted the State of Georgia if we win. Georgia has one of our most prosporours Cotton states

Secretary of War

Official Communique from the Provisional Government of the Confederate States of America to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and to the Second French Empire
Dear Friends,
As you can clearly see, it is time for our southern confederacy to defend our lands and homes. In these troubled times, any support you could offer would be most beneficiary. Otherwise, we fear a Yankee blockade could cut us and our valuable cotton off from you. Even if our upstart fleet does defeat the Union Navy, a war raging across our farms could just as well deplete our cotton supply, leaving none for you. I urge you, gentlemen, to at least consider sending military support to us. In return, we shall allow you to carve the United States up however you like, and we will assist in all such endeavors.
Sincerely,
Robert A. Toombs

In regard of the recent uprising I President Abraham Lincoln would like to find a place of peace between the South and North to preserve this Young Nation. I undertsand the taxes that you pay are unfair, these can be made fair under circumstances that we come to in this assembly. The United States of America does not want conflict with the CSA but rather peace.

Official Communique to Abraham Lincoln
President,
I find you offer of peace noble, sir, but there is a much simpler way to solve our differences and preserve the peace. If you allow us to simply form our own nation, then we have no quarrel.
Good Day,
Alexander Stephens

Message sent to President-elect Abraham Lincoln
Mr. President,
I wish to inform you that the State of New York intends to remain within the union. My state and I are at your command.

Sultan Abdülmecid I was ill, very ill. Within a few months doctors had said death would be upon him, a terrible disease caused by the gods bringing him down. His brother Abdülâziz was already being lined up to be his successor - though many said Abdülmecid was the greater man. Abdülmecid had ruled the Ottoman Empire in it's state of decline, but had done something about it - modernization had swept through the country and the military and economy was quickly improving, and they were still the main power in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and one of the world powers in the world today.
Sultan Abdülmecid I had received word that the CSA were trying to succeed from the United States of America. Normally he would have ignored events from America, a country he had a distaste for, but this one could be used to his advantage - siding with the winning side could bring the Ottoman's great rewards, siding with the losing side great loses. He would question the two sides as to what they had to offer him, with two correspondents.
To Abraham Lincoln, Leader of the Prosperous USA
Recently the Ottoman Empire fought a terrible war with Russia, the Crimean war - and Britain and France came to our aid. Whilst it would make sense for us to side with them, we pose the question, what can you offer us that your countrymen in the South cannot encase we do not? I'll tell you what you have that your Southern Neighbours don't see as much - technology, industry and wealth, and the offering of these things to us may sway us in your favour.
Sultan Abdülmecid I,
Supreme Ruler of the Ottoman Empire

You have cotton, a good thing, however though most of your economy focuses agricultural goods, much like ours, so please, tell us of the resources and rewards we would get if we helped you become fully independent.

Official Communique to the Ottoman Empire
My Good Sultan,
For one thing, naturally, if you side with us, a coalition between yourself, Britain, and France, and Austria would be more than likely enough to defeat the Russians. You could regain land you have previously lost in the Balkans and Caucasus, and bring your vengence down upon the Russians. Also, with our great surplus of cotton, after the war, we could offer you prices so low that it would be even cheaper than growing it yourself in Egypt! Lastly, with our nations both being primarily agricultural, we must band together, and make sure the rest of the world doesn't overrun us before we become fully industrialized world superpowers.
Regards,
Alexander Stephens

The North can offer you many things if you side withy us in the war starting with the shipment of weapons to your noble country. We could also offer you the state of Florida which is rich with land and cotton. Please take this into consideration.

The state of Prussia is truely worried with the news of the Rebels. It has always been taught that the country of America was stable and coerse. Prussia, though small, would be willing to offer its services if asked.

The state of Prussia was shocked when it recieved news of your allegiance. However, we are not ones to pass up an oppurtunity simply because it doesnt fall to the whims of others. Prussia shall offer the Cobfederate States Of America support in this matter if it is asked of them.

Desperate times call for desperate measure, my liege, and secession was just the measure we had to take to prevent Northern dominance over us. Naturally, we would appreciate any support you could give us. Not to mention, it would put you in good relations with Britain, France, and Austria, so they might not be so averse to a unified Germany.

Austrias position, Im afraid to inform you, on the proposed "unified Germany" remains the same, and myself and my fellow countrymen are adversed to anything of the sort. The lands currently in my possession will remain that way, but we are widely striving to avoid any confrontation on the matter. Sincerley,

Kaiser Wilhelm ordered the men to be ready for war. Unification of Germay was to come soon, whether peaceful or warlike , the Fatherland would come into being. Starting with the north. Prussia would make its international presence known. As the military began preperations for war the diplomatic channels were opened. If a sucessful unification was to be achieved, Austria would have to be appeased.
To:Franz Josef I, Emperor Of Austria
The long time friendship between our Empires has been worn. Lately the Kaiser has decided that it needs a strong revival. We ask you to consider our aggresions into the untamed principalities of our cousins as a measure to improve there lives. Surly they would benifit if protected by our mighty standards.

To kaiser wilhelm
I have long since respected you, and come to be evan a personal friend, but some things are a push of your german luck. And any attempt at unification will be seen as an act of war. Wheather your intentions are towards your small neighbours, or to ourselves directly, sooner or later you will use the strength of your military boosted by your new lands to invade austria. You have been warned.
