King William VII spoke to the nation last night as the Hatarian Crisis deepened with more Haven nations backing the Blubs in their campaign of justice after the Hatarians ignored the demands put forward by the Blubs. Clandonian Foreign Minister Sir Alan Philips in talks with the Blub Coalition spoke of his concern regarding the 'Blind following of the Dominion Commonwealth and UFAN member states' into a war against nations more than double their size. The mobilisation comes after DC, UFAN and COMECON talks regarding a peace deal with boycotted by the Blub's and allies because of the bias towards the Hatarians. The governments view is that the Hatarians should face justice for their attack several years ago on a Blub city where tens of thousands of civilians were killed by Hatarian orbital weaponry.

With the departure of No Endorsian fleets from their bases in Northern Haven many military analysts suggested a Clandonian mobilisation was near as tug and supply boats were seen moving from New Danskeran to Victory Island to assist the Expeditionary Fleet. Air Force reserves were also called up with no word from the army regarding its part in a possible conflict, the Ministry of Defence in a statement following His Majesty's announcement said that all options were currently being reviewed. Residents and forces on the Virgin Islands in East Haven were told to prepare for possible incursions from enemy forces as the Haven Defence Initiative swung into full effect with many nations warning of destruction should unwelcome military forces enter Haven airspace or waters.

In other news British Londinium rattled the sabre with a threat to seize the sovereign bases of Clandonia, Praetonia, Whyatica and The Silver Sky. The original coalition that occupied the country is tonight in emergency meeting to discuss the threat with Clandonian forces at RCAF Kensington stating that any attempt to move on the base will be considered an act of war and will be stopped with what ever means available. Officers on the ground speaking with their Whyatican colleagues talked of a possible annexation and a zero tolerance type occupation which Clandonian observers in Doomi occupied Kahanistan noted as a 'remarkable success' despite the unusually high civilian death count. The Times can reveal leaked plans show that the mobilisation of forces maybe destined for British Londinium with a possible two million troops from the Clandonian Expeditionary Force ready and waiting for the call after the cancellation of the Vetakan invasion. The situation has been described as the beginning of one of the largest wars seen for decades, strategists suggested the death count could be in the millions, critics argued that the figure was overoptimistic for such a low death count.

I have no designs to forcibly take over any foreign military bases in British Londinium, nor have I ordered foreign bases to be "surrounded". Mining exercises in the Ganapatian and Victorian Seas are routine measures taken at elevated military readiness levels, which are in place due to deployment of naval fleets to Hataria. Any intrusions upon Londinian territorial waters will be deemed an act of war. I am disgusted by the fact that you so readily resort to annexation as a means of settling conflict.

His Majesty's government would like to remind Calizorinstan that the forces involved supporting Blub are some of the most powerful in the world. Several are in the Organisation of Maritime Powers, facing your little fleets made up of inferior technology that would be no challenge as our current estimates show that the 'Axis' as you have termed to call us outnumber you by three to one. The Crown does not endorse any peace talks, the Hatarians have wronged and must pay no nation or transnational body can resolved the issue. The Hatarians have not turned up or offered to send a delegate making your argument that Haven have lost the moral high ground incorrect.

Regarding British Londinium, your actions of threatening to use nuclear and chemical weapons on North Calaveras and the movement of military forces near coalition sovereign bases have been unhelpful and talks are under way with the Whyatica, Skyian and Praetonians to discuss the threats which could endanger coalition military forces.

While we admit the Hatarians aren’t our favourite people and no one can deny there imperialistic past we must second the comments from the Pan-Arab Barronian Ministry in asking; what more could they possibly do?

You have taken their colonies; broken the back of there military; killed there former leaders; killed its people; and imposed strict treaty limitations plus installed a new government; with monitors to make sure they abide by the treaty. What more is there short of total and unquestionable genocide of the entire nation of Hataria that can be done? Firstly, yes a large proportion of the Clandonian fleet is Praetonian designed by more than eighty percent of those vessels were build in Clandonia. A good deal of ships and submarines such as the Danskeran Class, Lion Class Cruiser and the new Nelson Class Super Dreadnought. Perhaps the Soviets will one day have the pleasure to be targeted by the guns of the Crown navy. Perhaps because the Soviet armed forces are equipped with rusting out of date equipment that sits in damp cardboard boxes due to the poor state of their collectivist economic system. If you wish to insult us perhaps you coward that ran from the Haven with your tails tucked between your legs would like to face the Grand Expeditionary Fleet in battle in your home waters.

We still believe that we will remain neutral in this conflict. We do still feel that the actions of the Blubs and his allies is unjust and unwarranted. Times like these call for a diplomatic solution and if no nation wishes to move towards a Diplomatic Solution then the Shazbotdom Empire will have nothing to do with the conflict.

The Shazbotdom Empire joins the voices of the Leadership of Kampfers in wishing the nations will sit down at a table and discuss the matters at hand in a dignified manner and not just assaulting a nations soverignty on a whim of a government who's only thought is of lust, regence and hatred.

The people rarely if ever want war Prime Minister; Governments go to war; the people and the army are in most circumstances dragged along for the ride. The army has no choice but to obey and Hataria as a Royal Imperial nation the people have to obey the Emperor; whom despite the fact was a psychopathic bitch; was the Emperor.

By forcing another war onto the Hataria people you are simple sewing hatred and then galvanising that hatred into a war wiry people and one-day they will once again rise to hunt the Clandonian. Should the government suffer? Certainly; the leaders and generals who issued the orders that caused world suffering; the leaders and generals who personally used God rods on the noble Blubs; Those I condemn; those I would and indeed should see punished to the maximum effect of the law. To draw a historical comparative; after World War II the allies hunted down the Nazi's so that they could be punished a hunt that continues to this day I might add. However the German people were absolved from the crimes of Hitler and the Nazi regime; for Germany itself was as much an occupied country as much as any other territory conquered by the nazi's.

As I said earlier there is no love lost between Hataria and us but why punish the largely innocent Hatarian people when you can work with them to make them better than what they are; help them to become nobler than they think they can be show them what democracy and freedom are about rather than give them an excuse for another generation of hatred. His Majesty's government after a rough translation from Hatarian into English is still rather puzzled by the Hatarian governments words. Firstly, us warmongers? Hataria killed thousands in Greater Morocco, tens of thousands in Blubland. Hataria has broken several treaties, Clandonian allies like Questers offered peace at Singapore and now again we offer the diplomatic side unlike the savages of the Dominion Commonwealth. The United Kingdom is one of the freest nations in the world, a true liberal democratic society with strong checks and balances on the executive, this is the antithesis of the imperial military junta that Hataria once was as seeks to return too. The Hatarian suggestions that Clandonians are paedophiles is insulting and we demand an apology for this slanderous statement. The Hatarians can not be taken seriously, their diplomatic skills are lower than that of a toddler these people can not run a bath let alone a country. And, thus, by omission, has acknowledged them as true. Therefore, we request that your so-called "civilization" goes back to it's ant-hill and stays there until it's integrants achieve, at least, a middle-school level education (and a brain, for that matter).

Whilst Hataria's latest comment may be unsavoury at best, combating insults with insults only makes you appear on the same, if not lower than the Hatarian level, as you appear unable to rise above said insults.

OOC: I like many others RP my budget and tax, I only use the calculator for my GDP and GDPPC. Calculators are good when you start off but its noobish and doesn't work in real terms, officially half of NS shouldn't even have an economy if they have 100% tax.

Speaking to the emergency Saturday Parliamentry session yesterday Prime Minister Sistilin reaffirmed the Clandonian stance in support of the Blubs possible war against Hataria. The Clandonian Grand Expeditionary Fleet left port a week ago after the mobilisation was order by His Majesty King William VII in a speech to the Clandonian people. The first few battlefleets arrived yesterday in the Virgin Islands after a week of hard sailing, Ministry of Defence officials said that they would stop there and leave once the rest of the task force arrives ready for possible departure to reinforce the two East Haven battlefleets that were sent to escort the Blub navy.

The Royal Clandonian Navy declined to comment on the precise number of ships sent, independent experts say the entire fleet is nearly two thousand ships with the precise number classified due to security reasons. The coalition naval force sent to aid the Blub outnumbers the Dominion forces several times over with Questerian officials rather unamused that a Hood Class super-capital is in their possession. Clandonian forces in British Londinium have again reported of hostile actions made by local forces against coalition bases. The commander of the base has requested more troops to be sent to the region with other coalition partners hinting of increases to their forces deployed there. Various nations have criticised the move of the mobilisation including the communist state of The World Soviet Party who have 'commissioned a toddler' to type their diplomatic communications to quote one Foreign Office official. Clandonian-Soviet relations are at their lowest point for several years now with many in the far right of the Liberal Tories calling for war on the Soviets before any help is given to the Blubs.

Reservists around the country await the start of hostilities on the Bank Holiday weekend for the celebration of the toppling of the communist regime in Old Clandonia an event which many draw parallels on current world affairs.

To Clandonia Prime:

It would be wise of your military to prevent their base commanders from taking drugs whilst on duty. If such a policy were implemented, perhaps your base commanders in British Londinium would realize that the Londinian Armed Forces have taken no offensive action whatsoever. Any violation of Londinian territorial waters or airspace will be deemed an act of war.

Old Admiralty House, New Clanon City

Quarter past twelve on a rainy Sunday night on the bank holiday weekend, not exactly the place the Minister for Defence Sir Michael Hessletine wanted to be. Stepping out of the armoured car greeted by a guard with an umbrella.

"Good morning sir, they are waiting for you in the Trafalgar Room."

Stepping through the dimly lit marble paved reception, the security guard at his alcove monitoring the buildings CCTV systems. Closing the door into the even darker room, hazed from the smoke of cigars.

"Ah Sir Hesseltine glad you could join us please take a seat and help yourself to the wet bar."

The projected image on the wall changed showing a map of British Londinium and the ports with deep water access.

"As you can see here we believe this area is heavily mined, the Praetonians have sent a battlefleet to protect their oil infrastructure."

Another man took over from the first officer.

"Currently there is a fast battleship protecting Clandonian oil tankers coming in and out of the area, they have observed that the enemy navy is minimal in strength due the foreign commitments they have encompassed on themselves."

The slide show finished and went back on its starting loop showing maps and pictures of ships from the Clandonian and British Londinium navy.

"Excellent." Spoke the Minister, placing his cigar silver HMG stamped ash tray he stood up to speak.

"The mobilisation for war was done on the basis that we would have to fight the Hatarians and their Dominion Commonwealth allies, the crisis seems to have been averted by last minute diplomacy meaning the Grand Expeditionary Fleet will be presumed to begin its return home. This however will not be the case, we don't need nearly two thousand vessels for the annexation of British Londinium, perhaps at a maximum half of that for the first phase. The navies task is to assess the mines from the air force reconnaissance photographs and come up with a strategy to get rid of them, divers look a possible option but I've spoken to HM Defence Procurements for a possible weapon to electronically destroy them."

"And are the air force and army ready for such an adventure?" Asked Lord Sea Admiral Miklanov in a rather sarcastic term.

"I have my assurances, the army is preparing the Second Expeditionary Group for rapid deployment, munitions are being shipped down from the Northern bunkers and the air force is working out a bombing strategy with the Whyaticans."

"What abour our base there?" Asked a Royal Marine Officer, adjusting his cuff links on the dress suit.

"It will be most likely the base will be attacked, we are prepared for that but the danger of the Londiniums deciding to use weapons of mass destruction on some poor country and then someone retaliating hitting our bases is too great. Even with our ABM systems the coalition isn't prepared to encounter such damage both on our troops and the economic infrastructure that has been built. Lord Sea Admiral, how long would it take for the navy to arrive if sailing at thirty knots?"

"Well..." The Admiral said, sitting up in his chair to answer the Minister. "Given the current conditions in the East meteorologists say it should be clear sailing out the Haven so around three weeks give or take a few days depending on the sea conditions."

"Excellent, the Prime Minister will be pleased as will His Majesty when they arrive back from the Hatarian diplomatic meeting in the Blub Colony. Sorry for interrupting your weekend and Sunday night, I will leave now and let you enjoy the Monday off."

The meeting ended with the officers drifting off, the older ones home to their families while the younger ones drifted off to one of the local bars in Whitehall, packed on a Sunday night with civil servants enjoying the day off. It was time to practice what a bit of old Clandonian imperialism, this time the mistake of letting British Londinium rule itself would be sorted once and for all.

OOC: What the hell is your problem? Can I not seriously be left alone? I'm tired of this, Clandonia. I put up with your bases and I put up with your threats, but this is just crossing the damn line.

"Reports are just coming in that several Clandonian warships were attacked when on escort duty. This comes in the latest in events which some suggest could be leading to a major all out wall between the main powers of the Sovereign League and NATO...

The strikes of Big Billy to the East of the office, 'war was in the air' as a famous Clandonian general had spoken several decades ago when fighting Naashan terrorists. The Prime Minister looked out the window, His Majesty King William VII was in the cheer with a cup of tea and a cigarillo.

"This is it isn't it David." Spoke the King, glancing at the muted television showing Questerian forces mobilising for war.

"I've never seen such a situation this tense, I've sent out orders to the Joint Chiefs to cancel the demobilisation and see fit to prepare the Expeditionary Forces."

"So do you know what our allies are doing?" Asked the King taking another sip of the hot tea.

"The Questerians are going into full war mode, I don't really want to follow their proposed plan and I'm not sure what the Praetonian view is of yet. Several Haven states are in the NATO alliance.... I fear for the stability of the region as a whole..."

Across Clandonia the country only around ten months before had been in war preparations which had ended quickly, the new ones were not rushed like the previous orders with time needed to finish off and refit battleships that laid in the docks of Danskeran and Victory Island. The Clandonian economy was a powerful one, wars often made companies nervous but if it got bad ships could be crash built, millions of reserves called up but the government did not want that, a war to help Doomingsland was more favourable than one to help Gholgoth who the Clandonian's knew hardly anything about and would be a hard one for such a relatively small nation like Clandonia against the multi billion mights of Gholgoth and NATO.

So the demob was off, the millions of sailors, airmen and soldiers had been alerted and told to get ready as the intensive training programme began for what could decide the future of the Sovereign League and quite possibly the future of liberal democracy. Civilians were ordered to stock up on provisions as the rifle loans and war bond advertising were prepared on bill boards, television, radio and internet to arm the Clandonian people and boost the war economy of the country.

"Your Country needs you!" Was the catchphrase with the King holding a DR-83II rifle, he was a soldier at heart and with his son tasked to command a Nelson Class Super Dreadnought that would likely sent as part of a Grand Expeditionary Fleet deployment.

"And so it begins again." To quote the words of President Puriton before he ordered the gassing of Naasha all those many years ago...

Plus, if you're in isolation, then what difference does it make if there's a fleet there or not?
