Today the RUA (Russian underground army) announced they plan on launching 2 Atom bombs to the moon.

RUA General Luskanberg said: "We knew the UN would not approve of testing our nuclear weapons on earth so we thought of a new way of testing our weapons without harming our planet."

Many nation officials were shocked at the RUA, one official said: "This is outrages, the RUA have no idea if nuking the moon will effect our planet or not!"

The RUA are launching the nukes later this week.

The People's Republic questions the logic of this move, considering that Earth-Moon transit takes several days and the costs of moving these weapons from Earth to the Moon would be considerable. There are many nations across the NS World who are not members of the United Nations and whom test nuclear weapons on Earth with ease. Whilst we welcome the concern for the planet, we find issues with the logic.

Yes it would cost a considerable ammount to do this, but testing these nuclear weapons on the moon will also allow us to test our new Y1001 Ground-Space missle launcher. And we have very little unpopulated space which we can test these nuclear weapons in our country that will not effect people with the nuclear fallout.

This is the stupidest thing we've heard of all week. You don't own the moon and thus it is not your domain for testing nuclear weaponry. Further, future colonization of the moon requires a non-radiated area for various reasons. Additionally, we would be irritated to start seeing black spots on the moon's surface from blast zones and in response be forced to declare war upon your puny, pathetic nation.

Do not irritate the Blub, for we respond with anger.

To declare war on us for something you dont own, isnt that stupid itself?
The technology to start populating the moon is a long way off, im sure 2 black holes will hardly do the moon any damage.

Official Statement from the Pan-Arab Barronian Ministry for Foreign Affairs

We beg to differ. As the moon is not yours to claim, launching a nuclear weapon into it we find entirely unreasonable, as you are treating the territory as your own. As several nations, including our own, regularly send research craft to the moon, any resulting damage to our personnel will cause your nation to be dealt with accordingly, and repercussions will be fierce. Even if it does not harm the moon, it may well harm you.

Many nations can test nuclear weapons in their national borders with ease, whether they be underground, on a far-flung island, or otherwise.

While we would not support the Blub's apparent desire for warfare, we do however sympathise with it.

We request that you think again about this course of action.

Due to the risk of open war i will not fire 2 nukes at the moon, instead i will fire a guided missle to test the ground-space missle launcher. As i seriously doubt that will effect anyone.

Don't use the moon as target practice. Period.

Newsreporter: Several minutes ago the RUA after having several complaints from other nations, ignored there threats are launched 4 Guided missiles towards the moon to test there new Ground-space missile launcher. General Luskanberg had this to say "The test was a success and there is no sight of any damage to the moon or to any other nations."

We too fail to see the logic in this plan of yours, to blast nuclear weaponry on the moon makes no sense whatsoever and is not only insulting to the international community but to your own intelligence. However this this sudden outburst of ignorance did raise an interesting question, how should the lunar territory be legislated through NS (if this has already been done please disregard this message) if not should it be treated as "international waters" or more like antartica. Any comments on this issue on behalf of the international community are quite welcome.

Now that you have decided to completely ignore common sense and the wisdom offered to you by the mighty Blubs. It is useful to point out that your nation is young, small, poorly-lead and quite frankly.. a mosquito on the giant ass that is the elephant of world politics and military power.

Seeing that this action was taken by a rouge general within your ranks, we belive that he should be prosecuted by the international community seeing as it was an attack on international territory (OOC or at least thats what i think) we suggest that this general is prosecuted by an international commitee in order to exonerate the apparently inocent people of trident hore and the RUA.

Let this be a warning; the next time any sort of missile comes that close to our research and development facilities on the Moon... you will regret it.

The Moon, as said many times, is not owned solely by your nation, and as such you can not just use it as a target for your petty experiments any time you see fit. The Moon is populated by thousands of international residents, and to so nonchalantly blast missiles at it is just asking for war... and don't think we won't.

The Democratic Elective Monarchy of Maraque does not make such threats very often, unless it feels that its people are in immediate danger because of the actions of others; this clearly is what is happening.

You have been warned.
