Upon review of the situation, we have decided to halt our actions against the rebel forces and The PeoplesFreedom. Effective immediately, our forces will stand down and will no longer continue their preparations for military strikes against North Calaveras. They will remain strictly defensive until further notice.

However, we will take action to ensure that the forces of TPF can no longer affect the sovereign nation of North Calaveras. To this end, we announce our plans to implement the following security measures:

-A series of fortifications along the border of North Calaveras, limiting all traffic to and from The PeoplesFreedom's military installations to a handful of designated entry points and cleared landing sites.

-Additional military bases, including ICBM and IRBM installations with an effective range of The PeoplesFreedom's

-Deployment of counterterrorist and counterinsurgency forces to stop the actions of rebels against the North Calaveras government.

Any and all hostility against these plans will be dealt with by appropriate force. We trust The PeoplesFreedom will have no problem with this arrangement. Further discussion is permitted at this point, but we will not revoke our decision. This is the price that must be paid to avoid war.

In order to encourage swift resolution of this conflict, we will give an accurate listing of our forces in North Calaveras. We will not provide information on the location of these forces, but will give all involved a detail of our current regional commitment:

Naval:

3 SEACOM naval task forces (pretty huge command fleets for a major war and to guard supply lines)

Strategic Air Command:

10 air superiority squadrons (a mix of planes to protect against bombers and to engage enemy fighters.
5 bomber wings
3 air logistics squadrons (supply planes and refueling)

Army:

5 infantry divisions
3 mechanized infantry divisions
2 armored divisions

Strategic Rocket Forces:

15 ICBM
25 IRBM
5 ABM installations

We are in agreement with our Vetalian ally's policies; and shall deploy the following forces publicly, via neutral or Vetalian-controlled air and sea space, to reinforce their commitments in North Calaveras. We shall disclose the units being sent, but (as with our allies' sensible policy) neither their arrival nor deployment locations. This is done in the spirit of transparency, that this conflict may be resolved fairly and peaceably even at this late hour.

These deployments are already underway, with expectation that they will complete within two-to-three days' time. As with Vetalia's deployments, any and all hostile interference will be dealt with appropriately in self-defense. Barring that, we reiterate our willingness to discuss the matter with all concerned parties and urge them to accept said invitation in good faith.

We are glad that this peaceful development is willing to happen. We, however being a member of COMECON must respectfully deny sending troops into the area. Our conflicts abroud currentlyconsume almost a million soldiers and none can be spared for any effective use.
