OFFICIAL MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
The Federation of Ambrose-Douglas

Nations of the world, greetings and salutations. The Federation of Ambrose-Douglas is happy to announce that the diplomatic section of our capital city, Arkanis, has now been completly rebuilt and renovated, and is ready for embassies from all over the world.

The diplomatic district (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v650/That_Bum/?action=view&current=Arkanis-map.jpg) is situated next to the serene Arkanis River, and surrounds Friendship Circle, containing the statues of Edmund Ambrose and Prince James Douglas, founders of our great land. Also in the middle of the diplomatic district are our own government buildings, so you will never be more than a couple blocks away from who you need to talk to. The Arkanis Airport is also within five blocks of any embassy. Please note that security of the embassies is of the utmost importance, and for that reason all of the red dots on this map (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v650/That_Bum/?action=view&current=Arkanis-map.jpg) are military checkpoints surrounding the diplomatic zone.

We have 106 embassies open, so do not delay. A list of open embassy slots can be found below. Please indicate which you would like in your application.

Also, please note the requirements in our application. These are our national guidelines for embassies, so please do not try and violate them.

Each Ambrose-Douglas embassy is four stories tall, with a basement underground. An attached, six [6] car garage is included. Each embassy comes with either a ten [10] foot high stone or steel fence (the steel fence is steel bars, though placed close enough together not even a child could get through), with a reinforced steel gate with guard station. A helicopter pad is provided behind each embassy if needed for quick transport.

In addition to all of this, hangar space will be provided at Arkanis International Airport for one [1] non-fixed wing aircraft (helicopter), one [1] fighter/escort plane and one [1] passenger plane, free of charge.

All of these services are provided free of charge by the Ambrose-Douglas government, however, should you require additional security or extra hangar or garage space, construction will begin upon the reception of receipt for payment of such services.

Land is rented to the nation on it in good faith, free of charge, and is not sold under any circumstances.

His wife was already involved with the Department of State as an embassy defense attache, and she informed him of an ambassadorial opening in Ambrose-Douglas soon after the position opening was announced. Col. Schaner applied and was awarded the position.
