Ouban was a country of great and immense power on the Aaronian Peninsula. (http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa29/Baronaaronspence/AaronianPeninsula.jpg) It was a Dictatorship, officially named: The Oubanarian Union.
Quick timeline of events on the Aaronian Peninsula:
December 3rd 1989: Baron Aaron L'Espence, becomes first Prince Inherent (heir to the throne) to become legally elected as President of the Aaronian Empire.
February 16th 1990: Synide claims independance from the Simonvian Empire.
March 25th 1991: Collapse of the Simonvian Empire. Simonvia becomes a Democracy.
April 2nd 1992: The Oubanarian Union invades the Aaronian-held land of Yuman.
April 5th 1993: Aaronia ceases claims on Yuman and surrenders the land to sovereignty.
April 10th 1993: Yumanarian Provisional Government decares war on Ouban.
July 17th 1993: Ouban continues the invasion of Yuman.
September 26th 1995: Yuman surrenders.
December 1995: Treaty of Iridon signed: Peace for Yuman and Ouban.
March 3rd 1996: The Aaronian Empire disbands and becomes the Federal Republic of Imperial Aaronia.
August 23rd 1996: The Confederacy of Great Nations founded.
August 23rd 1996: Simonvia applies to join the COGN.
September 4th 1996: Ouban Veto's the vote for Simonvian application.
July 19th 1997: Simonvia is voted into the Confederacy.
October 21st 1997: Ouban Pettitions Simonvian entry.
December 25th 1997: Simonvia's first meeting: Insults and threats are shared.
February 1st 1998: Ouban Invaded Simonvia.
March 17th 1998: Ouban captures half of Simonvia.
March 18th 1998: Aaronia and Scotllia declare war on Ouban.
March 20th 1998: Yuman allies with Ouban.
July 15th 1999: Ouban invades Aaronia.
October 11th 1999: Ouban captures Aaronian Capital.
October 12th 1999: Oubanarian Occupation.
July 2000: Aaronian Resistance founded: War still raging.
Novermber 5th 2001: Aaronian Claims Capital back, with aid from Scotllia and Simonvia.
May 3rd 2002: Half of Imperial Aaronia is re-taken.
June 9th 2002: Aaronia claims FULL independance and re-claims Empire.
December 3rd 2003: Simonvia repels Oubanarian advancement.
August 16th 2004: Oubanarian surrdender: Armistace.
Janruary 1st 2005: Treaty of Portanos signed.
February 18th 2005: Ouban absorbed into Aaronian Empire.
March 4th 2005: Aaronian Empire disbands again, into the Federal Republic.
Ouban is bitter. The Treaty of Portanos was harsh, too harsh. They wish for revenge and now, Yuman have offered a way to get them back on top: Rebellion.
Simonvia is at peace. They are almost fully recovered from war and are following a policy of Isolationism.
Scotllia is allied with Aaronia. They do not wish for war, and are likely to follow Appeasement should Rebellion occur.
Newly elected President Mlle.Annabelle La Rochelle is looking for a reason to increase army presence in Ouban State.
