The Questarian 'Fleet Battle Arm' sets sail from its base in Scapa Flow
Earlier today, in a speech in Parliament to address that democratic function that Questarians hold dear, and in a speech to the public at the same time, Prime Minister Winston Foxbury declared that the nation would put its utmost effort into preparing itself to defend its freedoms. The Prime Minister has specified no enemies yet but has hinted at Gholgoth or perhaps the Communist bloc.
"And, my friends, what will this nation become without its military strength? Let us stand forward together as one united people to defend the freedoms and the liberty our forefathers made for us, their children. It has been said before and I will say it again that the branch of liberty is not offered - it is taken!"

It is expected that by the end of the week the Government's request will be fulfilled and at least twenty million will join the ranks of the glorious military that defends our nation. The Questarian Mandate had a chance to speak to the Prime Minister after his speech, and we managed to understand the Navy will begin its triple thirty plan tommorow - the building of thirty Barham class battleships, thirty Hiei Class battlecruisers, and thirty Illustrious class aircraft carriers, each class ranging from the 600,000 - 800,000 ton range. Furthermore the Naval Air Service and the Army Air Service will be actively looking for airforce contracts for top-level aircraft to bolster its ranks by at least ten thousand planes by the end of the month and the Army will be taking in millions of new recruits. The damages wrought on our military by the last Government will be hopefully rectified by this build up of military strength.
