Imperial Palace

"What are the Soviets up to today?" Derrick asked. His wife rolled over and shrugged. "Cmon dear, its 9am." He added stirring his Earl Grey tea.

"You two kept me up until 3am!" The Empress said turining and looking at him.

"Quiete down, youll wake Samantha up." Derrick said using his hands to symbolize it.

"Well...Im up now." She said rubbing her eyes. An aggravatingly loud knowkc on the door made her glare at it.

"Time for the photo shoot." Said a very feminine sounding males voice.

"Come in." The Empress (http://i12.tinypic.com/4q92a6o.jpg) said with a groan. Immediatly several men carrying lights and cameras entered the room and began to set up. Derrick laughed and took a seat in a nearby chair out of camera shot.

"Thats what you get for entering that damn Contest." Derrick explained to her taking a drink of tea. Only two weeks ago his wife a=had won and entered the Shakal 2007 Desirable Contest, and won. Now she had to be incolved in adult films and photo shoots all day. Beside the Empress another groan emerged. "Samantha get over here, lets eat while miss Desirable gets some pictures taken." Derrick waved over the Shakal Grand Admiral Samantha Conners (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=4maoj5u). The two talked for several minutes before the Empress got fed up and ordered the men out. Derrick laughed again. "Its amazing how well things are going for a Fascist nationin this day and age."

Inside the Royal Palace, President Iraku Zhang had recently lowered the Defcon from 5 to 4. The nation had some nuclear weapons due to recent developments but the stockpile was nothing like the Soviet Union. Dragonicale could feel tensions heat up slowly in Europe. Factories were producing more Dragon-18 tanks and weapons than commercial items. Spending fell heavily on military. Dragonicale knew if they were invaded, they would have to stand alone since they were isolated from the rest of NATO since they were in Asia.

SIC: SOMEWHERE IN SULAWESI UTARA PROVINCE, REPUBLIK INDONESIA

President Basir Abdul Shakur walked down the halls of the abandoned military base, one of the many built by the military dictatorship of Major General Wira Dian during the Cahaya Uprising. It was falling apart now, every crack in the wall bursting with mold, the ceiling constantly dripping, the windows bashed in, and spraypaint from the Cahaya guerillas all over. Abdul Shakur might have fought at this base when he was fighting on North Sulawesi, but he didn't remember. Back during the rebellion, his Trotskyist guerillas had knocked over so many of these they had all lost count. They surely didn't remember every battle they fought at them.

Well, the Cahaya party was in power now, after 6 years of popular struggle. 1998 until 2004. It started when the ruling Golkar party rigged the elections, and it ended when Abdul Shakur's predecessor, Kusuma, entered Jakarta and an angry mob hung Wira Dian from a streetlamp. And people were happy.

Unlike many other Communist countries, Indonesia under the Trotskyists wasn't choked with bureaucracy, and the government wasn't absolutely dominated by Javanese as it had been in the past. And, for a semi-Soviet bloc country (the Trotskyists associated with the USSR, but weren't all too fond of it), its human rights record was pretty good.

Unless you were a rebel.

"You're trippin'. Y'all can't afford...AHHH! ALLAH, PLEASE! STOP!"

"That's why it's a...AHHH! MERCY! PLEASE! MOTHER!"

President Abdul Shakur opened the one door in the building from which a faint light came out of. Inside, Captain Shi Caiqian reclined on an old army cot, watching Set It Off on a portable DVD player from Japan. Behind her, two Indonesian Revolutionary Army soldiers were taking turns giving a writhing, somewhat obese Acehnese generous doses of electroshock therapy. Most military bases like this one remained abandoned and falling apart, many still home to ex-Indonesian Army soldiers who had become homeless bums when they lost the war. But a select few had been made into prisons the human rights watch groups couldn't see. Abdul Shakur didn't like what they did here; while he knew exactly what went on, and even participated sometimes, if he had his way, they wouldn't be doing this stuff. But the revolution had to live on. And who were they keeping here but the people who threatened to destroy it?

"Can't be getting a very good moviegoing experience with this motherfucker screaming in the background," Abdul Shakur commented.

Shi shrugged, "Basir, we're in the middle of nowhere. I can't get a good moviegoing experience anywhere."

"It's 'Presiden' now, if you've been so in the middle of nowhere for the last five years," Abdul Shakur replied, pulling a new OTs-33 machine pistol from his pocket.

"Nice," Shi said, looking at the gun, "And at least I'm not calling you Javajap."

Abdul Shakur put a hand to his face. The name had haunted him ever since he was a kid in Balikpapan. He got the name because his mother had been a Japanese business woman working in Indonesia.

"So, what brings you here?" Shi asked.

"I heard you found the guy who did" Semarang," Abdul Shakur said, "I'd like to speak with him."

"Sure," Shi said. Turning to the two soldiers, she shouted, "Shihab! Wayan! Presiden Abdul Shakur wants to talk with the terrorist!"

"'kay, Comrade Shi," one of them replied, turning off "the box" and immediately walking over to watch the movie. His counterpart soon followed.
Abdul Shakur walked over to the man, setting his Ots-33 to automatic.

"Selamat malam, he said, looking the fat terrorist, handcuffed and stripped to his underwear, over, "What's your name?"

"Fuck you, you fucking Communist! Allahu Akbar!" he replied, attempting to spit on the President. Abdul Shakur easily sidestepped the loogie, then whacked him on the side of the head with the pistol.

"That's an interesting name, Fuck," he replied, "I wish my parents had been that creative."

"Now, I'm going to ask you a few questions about that bombing attempt in Semarang. You succeeded in killing Sutiyosoputri, you know that? Assassinating a member of the Central Committee is a bad thing, you know. You deserved everything you got here."

Maya Sutiyosoputri, whom he was referring to, was a junior member of the Central Committee. While visiting her family back in Semarang, she was supposed to have driven over a home-made bomb which failed to detonate. When it did, two men, one an Indian Muslim from Kerala, the other an Acehnese, jumped out of a car and opened fire with automatic weapons on Sutiyosoputri's car. The Indian was taken down by her bodyguards, but the Acehnese escaped. Captain Shi caught him though.

And now they were all here.

"Who are you with, you fascist asshole?!" Abdul Shakur shouted, repeatedly kicking the man, who was now on the floor, in the head.

"Jemaah Islamiah," the man managed to gasp out.

"No fucking way," the President said sarcastically, "Who's supplying you? Where'd you get the guns, the car, the bomb, hell, how did you know when Sutiyosoputri was going to be where, Fuck?"

"I'm not telling you anything! Allahu Akbar!" "Fuck" replied, earning him a few more kicks to the head.

"You won't tell me?" Abdul Shakur produced a serrated knife from his pocket. He picked the man up, with little difficulty despite his weight, and grabbed his hand, a diamond ring on each finger and a solid gold Rolex around the wrist. He grabbed the thumb and cut it off.

"Ahhh!" Fuck screamed loudly.

"How about now?" Abdul Shakur said, "You gonna tell me now? Because I'm not going to stay on your hand. Your balls are going next."

"I don't know!" Fuck screamed, "The Indian gave them to me! He was just my contact! I didn't even know the guy's name! JI doesn't tell us anything we don't need to know!"

"You should have just said that before," Abdul Shakur sighed, dropping the guy on the floor. He raised the pistol and emptied it into Fuck's body.

"Dump him," he said to Shi, before walking out. JI was getting to be a real thorn in the Republic's side. But they wouldn't fall to it. The capitalists would not be able to make a victory out of his country like they had done back in 1965; not today, not tomorrow, not ever.

"It was reported today that Communist forces landed in Austrailia." The reporter said. "In response the Empress has ordered that the DEFCON status is being raised to DEFCON 3..."

"Can you believe this?" Derrick said reading some reports of the attack. "This is a little more blatant than I would have hoped, I do like the fact that our little Dictatorship goe unnoticed by the rest of out allies." He added. Latly news had begun to spread that the Americans and other NATO members were worried about the ever present totalitarian state of the Empire.

"Lets just hope that our shipment of Panscrier V reach Germany." Mannstein said reading another copy of the report. "If those 200 tanks manage to reach them the Federal Republik Deutschland will finally have a chance to regain its position."

"I know." Derrick finished setting the report down. "We simply need those carriers finished by the end of the year." Derrick rubbed his eyes. He leaned over the phone and said a few quick words. No more was said until the doors opened and the Head Of The Navy walked in.

"You wanted to see me sir?" Samantha asked.

"We need that Supercarrier finished by the end of the year." Derrick said simply. If a war broke out the Shakal fleet would be ready, all 15 of the enormus Titan Class supercarriers which could hold 180 aircraft each would be at sea ready to strike.

"The Soviets have begun their conquest of Australia my lord." This was the first news that Caliph Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud (http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/gulf/images/prince-abdullah_3.jpg) heard. His Ambassador to the Soviet Union, Ahmed Baha (http://www.pap.gov.pk/legislators/present/images/pp257.jpg), recieved this news and was now being made clear to the rest of the world. "Should we make any response to this?"

The Caliph answered, "We must remain neutral. If we side with either NATO or the Warsaw Pact now, we will not have any reason to expect joining the winning side."

Ahmed asked, "So we shall continue to supply our oil to both sides until it is decided then?"

Caliph Abdullah answered, "We shall. We can only hope that both sides continue to attack each other and leave us out of it. If we are lucky, we may be able to avoid getting involved in this war."

The ambassador left, knowing that his Caliph had made a final decision. The Caliphate was all calm for now, but would this soon be changed?

Auckland, Peoples Republic of New Zealand (North New Zealand)
The Former president Lange died in 2005. there had been a prolonged power struggle for over 13 years. and now the year 2018 it had boiled down to the most ambitious of the party members.

In Auckland, the capital city of communist north New Zealand,
(Wellington was seen as to close to South New Zealand and so the capital was changed to Auckland)
in the parliament house the communist party was sitting quietly, 2000 communist party members sat in the large, dome shaped hall with a large portrait of Lange at the front of the hall.

"Comrade's the world revolution is underway, the communist forces are streaming in different areas of the world, liberating the masses, this is our chance to liberate the people in South New Zealand. what sort of communists would we be if we didnt support the world revolution!"

The massive hall burst into a round of applause and many people in the hall stood up, then they chanted "Comrade Larsen! Comrade Larsen!"
(which was the name of the man giving the speeach and main contender in the power struggle, Murray Larsen)

Then there was one section of the hall that didnt stand and then another member took to the podium
"Comrade's yes its true we must support the world revolution but at thre same time we must support our own revolution, at home, remember america has troops stationed just across the cook Straight! so i suggest that instead of an all out war on our enimies we should send help in the form of Volunteers, this should be acceptable and we will be able to protect our revolution at home"

This view was more appealing and even more people stood to clap and cheer and then a new chant was created
"Comrade Nash! Comrade Nash!" (this was an even more powerful contender in the power struggle, John Nash)

all through the Peoples Republic of New Zealand debates were firence as they either supported Nash or Larsen. In a workers debat ina tyre factory they would argue

"Nash would protect us! he is the real comrade who speaks for the people of New Zealand! he will ensure long life to our workers state!"

"NO! Nash is a Traitor! he dosent support world revolution! President Larsen is speaking for all the oppressed people trapped in the capitalist world!"

the power struggle had been going on for so long, the stability of the system was now fragile, it could come down at any moment.......

Nash was on his phone to his most loyal generals
"if i dont win this powerstruggle i may need to count on you to stage a coup to over throw Larsen. but this is a worst case senario, if he gets in he will ruin us and we could lose all we've worked so hard to achieve.....ok...I have your word"
