News 5 At Ten!

Sam Richards, a news broadcaster stood infront of a deserted street under the sound of gunfire coming from down the fire and shouts,"Maraguistan Rebels under the leadership of the group called "Four" have fired upon the Patriarch as he left the palace in Maraguise. As we know, ten Maraguistan soldiers are dead and riots are starting to break out in the capital and threeother cities...."

"What do we know about Four?" Spoke the Patriarch, turning around in his chair towards the long table full of advisors, senators, and various other leaders. His left cheek sported a stitched tracer wound under his blue eye and his face was grim, after seeing the News, he wondered if they knew anymore than the media did.

"Sir." Spoke Michael Gold, the Director of M.I.S, spoke up,"They have set up a base of operations in the Sirlandi Forest near the capital. By satellite confirmations, the base is built on the foundations of an ancient castle and there are approximately two hundred rebels armed with various forms of assault rifles and they have acquired by an unknown seller ten Type 59-II Tanks with a huge stockpile of Assault Rifles and definately the most worried about is four Mi-35 Hind-E Helicopters. Fortunately, they are unarmed." As he spoke, he pulled a laser point dotter and on a the apparent table before them, the glass surface came alive with infared photos and surveilance photos of the layout.

"Sir, if we send in armed soldiers, we can surely expect enemy retaliations. M.I.S has spotted that the main leader of Four will be visiting the base at 2400 hours tomorrow. He'll be several dozens feet underground in the foundations of the Castle and thus out of reach of our bombers." Once more, Michael Gold spoke up to replace Surpreme Commander Jacob Moore,"Sir, we have a chance to destroy them using the MSETU."

The Patriarch shook his head,"MSETU is doubtful." MSETU was the top secret unit that stood for Maraguistan Spartan Elite Tactical Unit. They had been training for two years after being pulled from various infantry units. Their numbers were classified and all other information on the exact whereabouts of Agents of MSETU were unknown. The Patriarch, nodding,"Okay. Approved. Send them in."

The helicopter cut low beneath the sky, barely above the canopy of the Sirlandi Forest. Inside were three men wearing ISS or Integrated Spartan Systems. Although it came in colors of black and dark green, the suit was highly powerful, they could at any time perform field analysis, call for air or vehicular support, communicate with their commander and one another, and even share first-person perspective video feeds through a high-tech monocle device over their HUD. Their helmets had a dull green visor built over the front that gave out technical read outs and other various things as well as a zoom in feature so as to make far-reach shots. The Combat uniform could control the movement of hot air so as to keep the soldier cool and provided the ability to be almost bulletproof. Each suit cost around four million.

Each soldier was armed with the IMI Tavor TAR-21, and carried various other things, different for each soldier. Their mission was to plant C-4 Charges on each Helicopter and tank and leave as quickly as possible.After landing in a small clearing two miles away from the Enemy base, they humped the rest of the way there until they were just outside of the perimeter"This is Ghost to Charlie. Operation Herakles ready to commence." Whispered the leader.

Four hundred yards away, 15 Mi-28 Attack Helicopters streamed down and began attacking the base, hoping to destroy some of the landed tanks and helicopters. The sky lit up as the enemy focused on the helicopters. The soldiers moved in under the cover of fire and after a brief firefight made their way underground.

Ten minutes later, the enemy leader was neutralized and the team of elite soldiers moved out under the cover of the explosions of the remaining tanks and helicopters.

Rebel groups declared war on Maraguista and ten thousand rebels moved towards the capital.
