The Emirate would like to continue discussions with the UCR concerning our new bilateral alliance and affairs of our two states to complement the passing of the RSA - a noble but ill-fated alliance.
We can continue in Sharm ash-Shaykh, if it so pleases you.
The RSA was an alliance that's Ideal was well founded and was made up of a group of fine nations. But it's primary goal, that of making the Red Sea Area and the Middle East one of Peace, has been accomplished long ago. Only Turkey, who is only marginally part of the middle east, is still in turmoil. We will mourn the RSA's Passing, but look forward to the proud era of UCR-ALM Relations.
We are willing to stay in Sharm ash-Shaykh. We are used to being here conversing with the other former-RSA members, so we shall stay here for now.

The Emirate Delegation would like to consider the following details for our agreements, brought from our last discussion in the RSA:
Iran - UARCA territory to UCR
Afghanistan and Pakistan - to ALM
Vineyard - undecided
Space Program - shared between UCR and ALM
others?
Is there anything else to consider at the moment or should we leave this discussion for another time?
We will endeavor to try and consolidate our position around Caspian Sea by assimilating as much of the Former-UARCA's territory as possible, although this may take a while.
I beleive that is pretty much all for now.
OOC: One question, what are we going to do about the equipment we get from Isreal, like the Merkava Tanks? I really wanted to purchase another batch of them to replace the ones I lost in Turkey and to expand my tank force.

ooc: Well, I had been trying to work out getting a DPR for them before Kopparbergs kicked the bucket... I suppose I could try to take Israel :D, but I'm not in the mood to start reconquering territories yet, not even Afghanistan and Pakistan, although they will be a high priority. I suppose in the meantime, we can try buying from other countries until we get a friendly government in Israel.
OOC: Argh... I really liked that the Merkava Tank was a local tank, now I have to go and buy the Leopard 2 or the LeClerc.

ooc: let me know if you need help in Iran, because I'm just across the border
OOC: I'm gonna need to finish up Turkey first. I'll probably make a post or two there, then wait a week and then begin in Iran.
It had been a few years since the last talks in Sharm ash-Shaykh, and the former RSA Building had turned into a sort of Joint UCR-ALM Diplomatic Building, that was a consulate for both. It functioned much the same as one for all these years, but now with Vineyard gone, the Building would be used once again.
The UCR Diplomats had called for Talks about the Situation in the Middle East and it wished for it's Friends in the ALM to help them. They thought that only through the ALM and UCR would the Middle East Finally see a permanent and lasting peace. So now it was up to four or so people to decide what best to do in Conference room.
"Good Day, Ambassador, I trust the day finds you well and your country strong." The UCR Diplomat said with little emotion. "As you well know, Vineyard is no more and it's Middle Eastern Lands are leaderless, they haven't done much, but I doubt that'll last. I wish to hear what your Nations Opinion on it, and what we shall do."

"As you well know, Vineyard is no more and it's Middle Eastern Lands are leaderless, they haven't done much, but I doubt that'll last. I wish to hear what your Nations Opinion on it, and what we shall do."
The Sharm ash Shaykh Building was used for more than just diplomatic purposes now - as it seemed that everyone was going there now. The General Staff were having a meeting... and now UCR and ALM had returned to resolve the Middle East. When last they met, Turkey was the crisis. Moorington rebels and JIHADI extremists were plaguing thee UCR forces. Now that the threat had dissipated, now Vineyard's lonely possessions were ripe for chaos.
The UCR delegates came in and briefly described their woes. ALM replied:
"Our concern is with not only Vineyard but also Kopparbergs. As such, we have been trying to figure a way to resolve the problem of too much border but not enough security, especially from extremists. There is the risk that JIHADI terrorists have fled in Vineyardian territories. Since these lands aren't about to rule themselves, we'll have to see about getting our armies there."
That said, they brought a map, with the lines of demarcation drawn:

"You would get protection over Iraq, Iran, and Kuwait, while we would take protection over Jerusalem, Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon."
[ooc: I think we should wait to see if Vineyard actually returns. Otherwise, this might turn into a war rather than a semi-peaceful acquisition...]
The UCR Delegation looked over the map and whispered to each other in hushed tones as they discussed it. They knew that Kurds made up an Extensive part of their country and they knew the Kurds would be a little disastified about the Portion of Syria. They made a small addition to the proposal.
"We agree to your proposal, but we wish to ask that the part of Syria with a Kurdish Majority be ours as well, since it would give the Kurds a land to call theirs once and for all." One of them said.
"Otherwise we have no qualms about the demarcation of the territories."
(The Area's population is not that large, barely 100,000 to 200,000, so don't worry about taking it away from Syria's pop.)

The ALM representatives noddded, and they consulted among themselves.
"Iraq has a substantial Arab majority in An Nabar Province, whereas Al Hasakah has a Kurdish majority. Both territories are about the same size, although An Nabar is a much larger territory... perhaps we could arrange a trade for these territories that puts the ethnicities in their proper place?"
They turned to the UCR representatives, and offered the deal. "We are willing to offer the entirety of Al Hasakah, in return for the entirety of An Nabar, as a way to achieve the most practical and harmonic ethnic balance. It is a reasonable exchange, and we believe that your dreams of a unified Kurdistan can be better realized in this manner. Is this agreeable?"
"They might be the same size roughly in area, but in population they are little less similiar. The Districts of Fallujah, and Abu Ghraid together have around one to two million inhabitants. (Going by records of Fallujah pre-Iraq War, it had 400-600,000 Inhabitants. Abu Ghraib even now has around one million persons.) Then you throw in the city of Ramadi, there's another fivehundred thousand." The UCR Diplomats countered. "But we are not unopposed to the idea of trading portions of Al Anbar for Al-Hasakah. Truth be told it would ease ethnic tensions quite a bit, but we wish to get something of equal value in return."
"So, we will cede to you most of Al Anbar, minus Abu Ghraib and possibly Fallujah, for the Al-Hasakah in Syria." They finished.

"If we play on this petty difference for long, we may give more time to extremists. But this agreement is fine by us. Is there any other territory in question?"
The ALM representatives there were unaware of the meeting occurring just two halls down from where they were... [in another thread, of course :D]
