Trial Of Atopians Responsible For Columbian Fiasco

Skgorria

The last time the Hall of Heinous Crimes had been used in Skgorria was for the trial of the Novistrana4 soldiers convicted of rape. Justice had been swift then and it was hoped by many that justice would be as swift today. The trial of the Atopian diplomats was taking place and the Hall was fully packed with civillians and news crews gawking for a view. All cameras were forbidden inside the courthouse, and many of the people inside of the Hall were still nursing their rears after the rather vigorous cavity search that had been conducted by the Skgorrian police.

The layout of the hall was fairly standard for a Skgorrian courtroom, though it was larger in scale. At the front was a large ornate table at which 5 men and women sat facing the defendents who would be sitting behind their own table. To either side and behind the defendents sat the members of the public who had been lucky enough to be allowed inside along with assorted members of the press.

The judges sat there quietly talking to themselves, waiting for the defendents to arrive.

OOC: If you're vaguely interested in this then feel free to RP a journalist or an observer in the courtroom. Justice will be done :p

Outside the courtroom, a black van with tinted windows pulled up. K Division plainclothesmen pushed and kicked the defendants out and into the court, beating them with their pistols if they attempted to resist.

"Good old K division" chuckled a policeman as he grabbed one of the Atopian criminals and pushed them into a chair behind the desk. "How are you boys?" he asked, cuffing the Atopian defendent on the back of the head in a casual manner. "Still hauling away dissidents like no tomorrow?"

One of the Judges stood up, looking somber yet inspiring in his black robes.
"Will the defendents identify themselves and their supposed crimes before this court?" he ordered, covering his mouth whilst he yawned. He really wanted to go home and have a nap, but sadly today he was on Duty.

"Oh yes, business is booming with this current ... internal restructuring," laughed the nearest K Division man as he handcuffed a defendant to the dock, "it's just a pity that we've been given escort duty. Oh well, duty is duty."

As the first defendant tried to stand, the K Division commander tazered her, and spoke up.

"The defendants are Criminal Numbers One, Four, and Nine. Their crime is bringing the Pact into disrepute. The Defence Counsel moves that they be found guilty and shot."

The only people who would have been suprised at the tasering would be foreigners, such harsh discipline was commonplace in the Pact and especially so in the judicial system. There were a few chuckles at the tasered Atopian woman, but they were soon silenced by a harsh glance from the standing Judge.
"Thankyou Counsel," spoke the Judge as he took a seat, "but in Skgorria it is custom for there to be a little more...lawyering before the Counsel delivers a verdict." He raised an eyebrow and leant forward, his peers silent and quite content for someone else to do their work for them.
"I require for evidence to be produced for each Criminal so that we might evaluate their case. What do you have?"

"Evidence?" The K Division officer appeared taken aback by this, but recovered marvellously.

"Well, your honour, they're ... Jewish bolsheviks, as proven by science. I rest my case."

Chaos reigned in the courtroom.

Men, women and children alike moaned and lamented. One of the female Judges fainted and even the stalwart police stood still, unsure of what to do whilst cries and despair reigned.
"Jewish Bolsheviks?"
"He said 'proven by science"
"And in the Atopian Command as well!"
In the midst of all of this sat an off-duty officer of the elite Waffen-SS division 5th SS Panzer "Zionbane" who, following the motto of the mighty Storm-General Beckenbauer leapt to his feet, stood on his chair and fired his service pistol into the ceiling.
"People of the Pact, you WILL calm yourselves!" He yelled, all eyes now focused on him. He stood there proudly in his walking-out uniform, his still-smoking pistol pointed at the ceiling. "This is the sort of chaos that the Yids wish to put amongst us and we cannot let them win. Take inspiration from the mere name of our Pact and unite into a single Iron Fist to crush the twin evils of Bolshevism and Zionism that stand before you right now!" He paused to let his words sink in before looking around at everyone. "Death to Zion!" He screamed, raising his right arm in the National Socialist salute. He continued to chant the motto of the 5th SS and soon the courtroom was bursting with the chant.
"Death to Zion! Death to Zion! Death to Zion!"

Suddenly, taking advantage of the chaos, one of the defendants surged to his feet, shouting as loud as he could over the noise; "It's a lie! We've been framed! I -"

However, he was quickly silenced by the blows of the K Division guards.

"ORDER!" bellowed the Judge, "I will have order in my court. Sit down everyone, we still have a 'trial' to finish," chuckled the Judge. "I think I heard the defendent confess his own guilt just there, did you?" He looked at the other Judges who all nodded in assent.
"Oh yes," spoke an elderly female Judge, "loud and clear."
"Fantastic," grinned the first Judge. "I would also remind the court that we have to try these people for crimes against humanity - apparently these people are responsible for massive use of ICBMs and biochems against unprotected civillians." The Judge took off his glasses and leant back in his large black chair, taking out a small rag and cleaning them. "Hell we all know you're guilty, so let's stop this bollocks and get on with it. The woman is to be remanded into custody of....oh I know, that Zionbane officer over there," he gestured towards the now-grinning SS officer. "The other two are be disposed of using Public Justice. Everyone, on your feet." With that the courtroom stood up and the police guards began to hand out batons and clubs. The Zionbane officer moved to the dock and put his hand on the woman's shoulder, grinning from ear to ear.
"K division," ordered the Judge, "let the guilty speak for themselves for once. Any last words?" He inquired, accepting a club from a policeman and giving it a few test swings.

"No," snarled the K Division commander as he hauled the unconscious woman to her feet, "these scum have forfeited their right to history."

"Fair enough," agreed the Judge as the Zionbane officer swung the woman over his shoulder. "We'll let the Waffen-SS soldier here take the prisoner away before we dispense Public Justice. Carry on son," he instructed kindly as the soldier saluted with his free hand and marched out of the courtroom, his prisoner over his left shoulder.
"On 3 everyone," grinned the Judge as he lifted his club. "1...2...3!" The court surged forward as one towards the prisoners. One of the Judges leapt over the desk, grinning manically. Soon the mass had engulfed the prisoners and blow after blow was aimed at the helpless Atopians.

"Say what you like," murmured the K Division lieutenant to his sergeant, "but their justice is fast."
"Aye, but it's not as ... I don't know, it lacks a certain finesse," he said, wincing as blood spattered onto his chinos, "and is rather messy."

"Looks like we're done," panted the Judge.
"How do you know?" demanded an angry woman, "how can we be sure?"
"They're not breathing, moron," spat a teenage boy, scratching at his acne with the court-issue club.
"I heard that they can live underwater and in sewage," whispered a little girl, clutching her mother's hand tightly in fear. "They are dead aren't they mummy?"
"Of course they are sweety," smiled the mother, ruffling the girl's hair and giving her a big hug.
"Court dismissed then, everyone piss off home," commanded the Judge and the crowd left, happily talking amongst themselves. A janitor came in and sighed - he did hate quick trials, they tended to be messier.

A Mafia observer in the crowd left the court room to the bathroom, and placed a satellite call to headquarters. They wanted to know about these people. Experience is experience, and it would be good to have experienced commanders in the field.

Encrypted Message to the Atopian and Skorggian Governments

Justice was done today, however, we wish for custody of the accused. While you may scream for their deaths, you can beat them to within an inch of their life, but we still want them.

And we are willing to pay a billion USD each for them. We will harvest their brain stems and merge them with the super computer Beowulf for tactical and informatics warfare. We will do a minor frontal lobotomy, mainly to remove resistance to the probing. And only a few people survive the procedure.

But a single brain is worth billions anyway, especially one of these people.

"Democracy is Bolshevism in disguise," roared the Primo in his daily broadcast, "and the Cazelians are a vile exponent of this international menace! Even as I speak our glorious and undefeated forces are engaging our enemies with righteous fury and strength of will!"

Communique from K Division to Leafanistan:

Those criminals you asked about? They're dead. Dead, dead, dead. We've no idea exactly where their corpses are, either - they're in an unmarked lime pit somewhere. Sorry to disappoint.
