Official WEF Commission Headquarters, London, 19:15pm
The Commissioners at the meeting where getting impatient. After the signing of a mutual defence pact between the WEF and the GGA, Mrs. Harding had ordered that tomorrow evening all Head Commissioners of there areas (trade, defence, health and safety etc.) should meet to be briefed on a 'worrying situation'. She was twenty minutes late already to the meeting, the longest she'd ever kept them waiting, though she had ordered not to be disturbed whilst she prepared for her speech.
35 minutes later
The impatientence was now turning into worry for the Commissioners. This was so out of Mrs. Laura Harding’s', High Commissioner of the WEF, usual behaviour they thought something was deeply wrong. After five more minutes of speculating what could happened and what to do, François Chirac, her closest friend in the Commission and Defence Commissioner was sent to check on her.
He walked down the long hall that lead to her office, the walls hung with pictures of famous WEF dignitaries that seemed to follow him with their gaze. These paintings had seen a lot this night.
He knocked on the door once. No answer. He then did it again, and when there again was no answer, he called her name. He tried to open the door but it was fastened and locked. Something bad was happening he thought, and without a moments hesitation he pressed the red button on the small black electronic device that was attached to his trousers.
An alarm rang around the building, and all entrance and exit doors automatically closed and locked, as guards rushed out of their sleep or other duties to Mrs. Harding's office. Within minutes the doors, which had been so greatly locked, were near to the point of total destruction as guards smashed them down with whatever they could find. And once the doors opened, with around twenty guards and Commissioners behind him, François saw a most terrible sight.
A cool breeze hit his face as the window was wide open, but the thing that shocked them all sat right on the chair which was pulled up to Mrs. Harding’s desk – a large pile of ash.

“Greetings viewers of the UK National News Network. Our top stories today including mysterious sightings around the moon and the fact that Dr. Feelgood, a novelty pop act has secured his fifth #1 in ‘It’s All For The Smooth Taste (Of That Cheese)’. But, before these seemingly tiny reports as to what we must say now, we have more pressing news.
According to a statement made by our Defence Commissioner, François Chirac, ‘three hours ago our leader, the honourable Mrs. Laura Harding, was found dead in her room’ – he believed that this was not just a noble, quiet death, but murder. His statement also said that ‘a national week of mourning will be declared, including a three day work break, and this day will go down in history’ before adding ‘and the funeral of one of our greatest leaders will be made public’. He also said that the Deputy High Commissioner, Marcus Brixton, who still remains in hospital in Morocco after the terrible helicopter crash he suffered on the Moroccan border ‘is shocked, saddened and deeply worried for the WEF at this time’.
With elections for a new leader merely a week away, Chirac said they would go ahead as planned, however ‘we will honour our great leader if the proceedings, and we will be saddened we have to do this in these circumstances – but now more than ever we need a strong leader for this country’. The funeral procession, which will be public, could attract up to five million mourners some documenters say, as her approval ratings were high at the time of death due to the recent taking of the Yugoslavian States. According to reports from Chirac, the body will not be shown in an open casket, sprouting rumours that something terrible has happened to her appearance in the attack.
And now we will talk to our correspondent who is at the Official WEF Commission Headquarters in London now…”

A neat letter, with a beautiful envelope and handwritten was sent to each Head of State of the alliances or countries of the world.
To [Head of State],
Today the body of our honourable leader Mrs. Laura Harding was discovered. We believe her death to be murder, an attack on our government. We are deeply saddened at these events, and whatever stance our relations are with you we are sure you will understand that she was a greater leader, a powerful one who has only increased the WEF’s strength and economic power in the world today.
Although I’m sure some of you may want to attend her service inside St Paul's Cathedral, it saddens me to say that I feel due to a number of reasons it would be unsafe for the world leaders to be in the same place at one time currently. However, please forward your condolences and attend if you wish.

She was murdered not by a creature on this earth; no one could of done what we have found. We discovered her ashes remains, casually lying on a chair of hers! After much forensic analysis we found it was for certain her – she has been murdered by possibly the forces that plague the sky. No human could of done this without a furnace and considerable time to commit this act, therefore there is no other explanation for this we can find. This is serious – these creatures have proved they are hostile.

(OOC: I will not be Rping the funeral, though I may make a news report if you just want to be there in presence…though I’m sure you have your own problems to deal with)
