Now, Let' see if theres enough interest for this before we get too far. Basically, we could do Timeline 191 in either WW1 or WW2 time periods. Pretty much any nation in the book would be playable? Anyone interested?

I'd be interested, but this has already been tried twice before.

I'd be more than happy to be part of this as one of the European powers or as my home country Australia, I've always wondered how Australia would go in the Timeline-191 universe.

Either way, I think the WW2 time would be much more interesting anyway, nothing like static trench warfare to dull a storyline... or a war for that matter! :p

Also, for Tynish Dynasty, the name 'Timeline-191' comes from the time in which the stories diverge from real life history - in this case, the time when General Lee's Order 191 was dropped, instead of being picked up by a Union spy, it's picked up by another confederate, allowing Lee to win his battle (forgot which one it was) and eventually allow the South to get European support, and therefore recognition as a formal state.

WHatever we're doing, I call the CSA. I have two factbooks floating around on the forums for it, one WWI-era and one WWII-era.

Sounds like we have a fair amount of interest here. I say we now start nation claming and voting weather to RP in WWI or WW2 times. So when you claim your nation vote for the time period you want. If we need Off-Site Forums, I'll be happy to create them.

As for me, I call Germany and World War Two times.

General Lee; General of the Army of Virginia, the Confederates A-listers, has some of his orders found by a Union private, wrapped around some cigars, which then leads to the battle of Antietam, which pretty much guts the Army of Virginia.

In Timeline-191, his plans succeds and it is the Union army that is gutted.

Anyhow, after adressing some of those people I'm asking for Austria-Hungary, and voting that we should play as WWI, since I already have a factbook for it.

Oh, really? Good, if we're starting in 1914(or before/after that) then I can make the Bolsheviks win! So, essentially, yes... I am voting for World War 1.

Please note, I really dont believe in Stalinism(or communism for that matter), I just always like playing the bad guy. In reality, I believe Stalinism is an evil equal to that of Nazism. Communism in general I think is good in theory... but is impossible in reality without going into Leninism or Stalinism.

EDIT: Oh, and yes, I claim Russia.

It will start in 1940, January 1st, a year before 1941 when the war starts. That give you a year to build up and negotiate and such before the war starts.

Basically, the USA allied with the central Powers becuase tthe Entente backed CSA. The result was the Central powers winning, and USA winning in America. This brought fascist/nationalist parties into power in the former Allied powers.

Are there any remaining nations left for this - every other earth I join bar one goes dead, but this one might not? My first few choices would be UK and it's colonies, France and it's colonies, or Italy and it's colonies - if you inform me which ones are open I'll make a choice from there. I've read most of the thread though I'm still quite unsure who's who (though if the UK is taken by Marx - damn you - I'll probably take the more powerful of Italy or France, depending on it's colonies).

OOC: Yeah, make a list with the already taken nations and let's see what we can get.

My four top choices are:

1. Britain

Now the only reason I'm worried about Italy is because apparently there is little going on there in 1940 (to quote "Italy never came under Mussolini's rule; not much else is known about it.") now if I'm allowed to change that I might take them, however for now Britain, though if Marx gets that it's France.

And India's just there for the hell of it really.
