The Chancellor respects your nations nationalism and how it isn't afraid to tell the rest of the world to back off or else. It is good to see that there is another nation with a foreign policy very similar to our own. ;) We would give you military aid against invaders but unfortunately we're occupied with a civil war and holding off foreign invasions at the same time.

OOC: My nations does the same, most of the allied states were once their own nations who messed with South Lizasauria and ended up being annexed, and every year propaganda is broadcasted to the world telling them to leave the powerful empire alone. :)

Hmm, a nation of a mere five million threatening others? The audacity I enjoy. Though a bit of warning, it's a big world, and you're a very small fish. A country of your size would be nothing to those with real power. I have 8.75 billion people in my nation, it wouldn't take a fraction of a percent of my military to utterly annihilate you.

Yes, but he also saw the massive losses inflicted on the SL navy and air forces at the Battle of Lividston. ;)

Of course, in all honesty it's a Pyhrric victory for either of us if we win...we both got hammered in that battle and it's not even on the land yet.

Joinordie09, you at least have decent, understandable grammar and did not use any smilies in character. Thus, you're off to a good start. I suggest you check out the stickies located at the top of the page to get a grasp on what RPing on II is all about. :)

Ehh...right. You know, I understand that a lot of new people act like n00bs, and yet...when I first got into NS, I don't think I acted like this. :p

Then again, I spent at least several months reading a lot of RP text before indulging myself into II with an Earth. Not that I really wanted to - but I couldn't find a suitable place to begin RPing. Maybe all JoinorDie09 needs is a suitable place to start RPing....and as a hint, starting out by threatening everyone else is not exactly the best idea. :rolleyes: :p

OOC: That poster was ICly made decades ago. It's kinda like how the US military used to be the best and now it sucks kinda deal. South Lizasauria used to be a feared superpower now their military isn't as good especially since over the years they lost key strategic outposts on foreign soil. South Lizasauria's military is still feared and respected though they are not as bright as they used to be on the battlefield, their equipment however makes up for that.

Floating off shore of the fledgling republic, calling themselves 'Joinordie09', were the one-thousand-plus gleaming white ships, each gun barrel, railing, and doorknob in the cleanest ivory paint...

The sun shone down on this display, reflecting off the massive crescent formed as they rolled through the calm waters, coming ever closer and closer to this new country. Deep within the tossing bowels of one-hundred heavy amphibious transports were the soldiers of the 5th Naval Infantry Legion, five-hundred thousand of the Emperor's finest marines. These men, clad from head to foot in solid black armor and finely crafted Kevlar cloths, were each worth, in their commanders eyes, more than a hundred of whatever armed farmers their enemy could muster…

Overhead the fleet’s compliment of aircraft, fully four-thousand F-78K Strakhen Sokol naval fighters among them, flew in perfect formation. These aircraft alone were worth more than the entire defense budget for the next ten years of this pitiful realm. Flying in shifts, there were usually only two or three hundred airborne at a time. Any threat this nation could offer in the sky was dismissed as miniscule.

Below the aircraft, the fleet continued. Steaming forward at roughly thirty knots, the first attack of this Pudite expeditionary force was about to commence. At the rear of the fleet, just inside the protective escort screen, was perhaps the newest piece in this giant puzzle. Forty Torrent-class arsenal ships silently slid away the covers of their more than thirteen thousand VLS tubes.

Rising in perfect symmetry, the missiles of the thirteen blocks of tubes rose into the sky, their smoky trails creating a forest of exhaust rising off the water, as the arsenal ships themselves had, at most, a few feet of freeboard. All in all, with every single missile tube in the arsenal ship fleet emptied, exactly five-hundred and twenty thousand missiles were now streaking at roughly mach seven, towards the shore of this 'Joinordie09'. These hundreds of thousands of missiles, each a large land-attack cruise missile with many sporting roughly eight-hundred pounds of high-explosives, were bound for the civilian centers of this nation.

With only a trifle more than five-million people at best, they could not be so hard to find... The large cities and suburbs, where the people lived, were the priorities. Roughly half of these missiles were armed, as outlined, with eight-hundred pound warheads, and would assuredly cause massive damage to infrastructure and morale. This would be a hefty strike, sure enough, but that was not all that was bound for these arrogant newcomers...

The other half of the cruise missiles, outwardly exactly the same as their more explosive companions, were mounted with chemical-filled warheads. Contained, densely, inside these missiles was the chemical known to its creators as Night Lord's Urine. Accompanying it, in a smaller percentage of missiles, was another gas. This second assortment was known as Eastern Gas Level III.

The first chemical, the Night Lord's Urine, was perhaps the deadlier. It would, upon release, be not immediately detectable among the explosions and fires of the general attacks. It was colorless and odorless, and this was its strength. It would deposit behind the retinas of its victim, a series of engineered proteins that would not develop properly, thusly interrupting the optic nerve and cutting off the victim’s sight. This may take as long as a few days, or as little as a few minutes depending on the health of the victim. Permanent blindness, deposited in the most concentrated urban centers...

The second gas, the Eastern Gas, Level III, was more a physical effect. This gas was indeed noticeable, although again, with the fire and chaos, it may not be immediately detected. It would proceed to be assimilated through the body of its victim, where it would lodge itself in the large calf muscles of the human body. It would here begin to eat away at the flesh for at least seven hours, during which time the other symptoms would begin to set in; vomiting hacking cough, tiredness, droopiness, migraines, difficult to concentrate, lowered body temperature, sensitive skin, as well as muscle spasms throughout the body. Finally, after roughly seven hours, the symptoms begin to wear down, as the chemical finishes it's work. The large upper leg muscle is largely handicapped, leaving the victim a cripple at best, or dead, depending on the severity of the symptoms and relative health.

There was no declaration, no message, no warning. The Dominion had dispensed with such things ages ago. The Emperor desired this land, and he would have it. No troublesome little military junta would hold him back...

It was all a matter of time...
