All across the nation of Dentara, there was a sense of excitement. The massive war-machine of the Dentaran Imperial Army, Navy and Air Force were, for the first time, launching on an offensive action against another nation. Throughout the nation, aircraft of various types flocked to the massive Meteor Air Command installation in the north of Dentara. Regiment after regiment of Dentaran Imperial and Blood Guardsmen cycled through the multitudes of military bases throughout Dentara, before heading off to Zelveth Naval Base. Frigates, destroyers, cruisers, carriers and submarines all prepared to launch on the long voyage to the nation known as FreeAngola.

Within the Zelveth Naval Base Command Bunker, Generals Jerec Mazeen & Kolin Zavup, Admirals Ungar Invikkis and Zoren Karuk and Air Marshal Lukar Erinis sat around a table, discussing the invasion tactics. After a small while, they came to a general consensus, which, without further ado, they brought before the waiting Emperor, who awaited the presentation in an adjoining room.

Having volunteered to present the plan before the Emperor, General Jerec Mazeen entered the room first, followed by the other General, the Admirals and the single Air Marshal. Stepping up to the screen, he switched it on, and began the presentation.

'As you know, this invasion is one of the biggest operations the Imperial Army, Navy and Air Force has ever considered. The 3rd and 4th Armies, the 3rd and 5th Fleets, and the 4th Air Force will be working in tandem to invade, occupy and assimilate the nation of FreeAngola. To do this, we have decided to use this method,' began the General. Clicking a button, a map of FreeAngola appeared. Picking up a pointer, the General approached the map while saying, 'We will be launching a massive assault on this beach, codenamed 'Alpha Landing Zone', using the Dentara 3rd Army. They will be supported by Naval Aircraft launched from our assortment of carriers, as well as the 1st Imperial Paratroopers Regiment, which will be airdropped in the night before the invasion. Once they have landed, the 3rd Army will establish a beachhead, which we will use to deploy the Dentara 4th Army and the 3rd Army's armoured assets. The 3rd Army will push inland for 10km, before establishing a front line. This will give us ample space to deploy the 3rd and 4th Army's artillery assets, will allow armoured assets to proceed to the front line, give us time to prepare an air base for the 4th Air Force, and will give us time to insert several groups of Imperial Ghost commando platoons. We're hoping that, after an invasion of this scale, the FreeAngolan government will surrender. If not, we will proceed to Phase 2,' finished the General.

'Sounds good,' stated the Emperor. 'You have my support. Go, and bring FreeAngola under our banner. Peace through Power!' finished the Emperor.

'Peace through Power!' replied the Generals, Admirals and the Air Marshal, before leaving the bunker.

Within four hours, the Armies were assembled, the Air Force was ready to make the flight following the invasion, and the Fleets were prepared for the long voyage to FreeAngola. Following a short speech from the Emperor, the Armies boarded the troop transports, and the massive Dentaran force began the long journey to FreeAngola.

IC: "My God. What the hell is happening to our country?" Thought Armaal Branzi, the ruler of Schavakia.

"We appear to be like a disease. All our neighbors fuel the flames of war, and follow our warlike ways."

He moved to the cyber map on the wall. How many engagements now? 6, 7, In the last 100 years? Not to mention the Groundhog wars of 200 years ago.

Branzi sent a message to his people. On every street corner, men, women and children watched their streets holo screen with rapt concentration. The C guard around the screen made sure of that.

"My subject! All around us are the devestations of war. I know you want to end it. How?"

He paused for effect.

"Fight HARDER!"

The crowd reluctantly cheered. A man, shaking his head in disgust, saw too late a party of C guard, who dragged him away.

The Lord had spoken.

The massive Dentaran invasion force had arrived in FreeAngolan waters, and were now standing off the coastline, with numerous submarines on patrol, carriers launching ZV-7c Scorpion carrier fighters on recon operations, fleshing out any possible weak points in the coastal defenses, and the massive first wave of troops mounting up and loading into landing craft in preparation for the invasion. The time and place of the invasion, however, had already been set, and in a throwback to ancient history, the General of the 1st Army, Jerec Mazeen, saw fit to name the invasion day with a historic codename... D-Day

0100 Hours, D-Day

On the decks of the carrier Imperial Fury, one of the four carriers in the fleets, there was a flurry of activity as several specialised paratroop aircraft launched, preparing to insert the Dentaran 1st Imperial Paratroop Regiment. All the other carriers were doing likewise, with plane after plane launching into a holding pattern.

With the last transport launched, the air crews then scrambled to launch the four squadrons of ZV-7c Carrier Fighters that would escort the massive formation of paratroop aircraft over FreeAngola. Plane after plane launched into the black night, and before long, all four squadrons were airborne, blazing the path for the formation of paratrooper aircraft.

The invasion had begun...

OOC: I think FreeAngola's been pretty much driven out of II. Feel free to move in and divvy the place up; mind you, the postwar territory's going to be split between me and Blackhelm all things equal, but feel free to steal anything that isn't tied down.

However, you're free to invest whatever you want there. We're opening the place up to plenty of foreign investment. Maybe if there's enough oil we can get rid of taxes on the area...

OOC: Wait, so after this war, all of FreeAngola's territory is yours and Blackhelms? Damn...there goes one of my main motivations for the invasion...I really wanted a colony.

OOC: We split territory 60-40; I'll give you 20% of my part so that me and Blackhelm have an equal amount of land.

OOC: Permission to strike and remove his Satellite System. I have a few Anti Satellite Bombers Operating in Wagdog. So I could do it even tho I am at war with Clandonia.

OOC: Hell, I am invading him too... I don't want much territory though. Maybe just one nice port city to base operations in.

I already have an agreement for mining rights in the territories so no one try to take that.

I am invading FreeAngola too. Mathism will be sending the 29th, 30th Infantry Divisions, 15th Armored Division, 12 fighter air wings, 7 bomber wings, the 13th, 15th carrier battle groups, and the 5th marine Expeditionary Force. We expect to take two coastal cities and two inland cities. I only want about 5% of the land.
