(OOC: I like The Scandinvans, sp?, idea in the Sign Up of plotting world domination or destruction, preferribly the first. One of my characters is actually in a position to try do such, but I won't say who or how until prompted.)

Adrian Lazaer disembarked from his luxury helicopter as a butler came up and offered him a drink. He chose not too and instead headed down to the main building, looking for a fellow figure to talk too.

Zachary Troy's payment came through, but he did not arrive as he is currently involved in research project in another nation.

Nelson kept taking sips from his beer. He was still wondering where everyone was. He paid money to be here, so he guessed they did too. Why waste money on something they aren't going to use? Nelson didn't get it. He walked over to the bar and ordered a second beer while throwing the bottle of his first away. Maybe he could go out with one of his Hawks and go do some falconry. Wait a sec... Wonder who that guy is? Nelson noticed a new person entering the building, he decided to walk over and say hi.

Adrian strolled into the main lounge, after a look around, he saw another man, who he recognized from the tabloids as Mr. Nelson (OOC: His last name, right?).

"Greetings, Mr. Nelson. I see I am not the only one who had the foresight to come to this establishment."

"I am Adrian Lazaer, but you can call me Adrian. After all, were all friends here, right?"

The man's voice was accented, although not to heavily. It wasn't hard to tell that he was of Russian descent.

"Well Adrian, what do you do?" Nelson took a sip of his beer and then noticed that his new friend hadn't gotten a drink yet.

"Why don't we get you a drink?" Nelson said gesturing towards the bar.

"Don't worry about getting drunk, we are all friends here," Nelson added the joke with a smirk.

45 minutes after the loud enormous sound of the quad engines of an Airbus A380 flew overhead, a long, almost never ending, line of Grand Imperial Guard entered the building, followed by Emperor Jovan S. Norris and his wife, Malika.

The Grand Imperial Guard spread throughout the lounge, allowing the Emperor more freedom of movement as they deemed the area secure. After several assassination attempts on his life, Jovan did not joke around when it came to his security detail.

Jovan strode towards the bar.

"I'll have a glass of vodka," he said in the most thick Maraquean accent one would ever hear. His accent so thick the bartender hesitated for a few seconds before comprehending what His Highness had said. Jovan sat at the bar, and noticed the other gentlemen.

"Hello there gentlemen," Jovan said, yet again with a just-barely audible accent. "You are...?"

"Yea, I was starting to get bored actually. So, no offense, but why are you here? In Green Hawk I work as the Head of the Counter Intelligence Agency, which I hate to say, means you are talking to a operative or a spy as most people call us. I'm off duty though so don't worry, but aren't you afraid of a trigger happy idiot that might be waiting outside with a gun?" Nelson asked.

"Thank you, I think I will. I'll have a glass of Vitker's 87, if you have such."

The bartender checked his stock and returned with a glass, pouring the bubbling liquid into glass and handing it to the man.

"Well, the Maraque Emperor? I am honored to be in your presence, majesty." he said with a short bow.

The bar tender laughed for a minute and then said," Well my good sirs, you are at the wrong bar as down on the other side of this building are the regulars at the club's bar as nearly all the native members here are of the nobility and they only drink wine and mead for the most part as such they opened a new bar for them."

They are ordered by the Imperial Senate of Maraque to die if it means I live. They are not afraid of death, and will do everything in their power to make sure my safety is their #1 priority. They are bound by execution if I die under their protection. With that said, if there was such a man outside, he'd be dead before I stepped outside."

"As to why I am here; I am on a three month vacation," the Emperor said, taking a sip of his vodka and ordering a lobster tail.

"Thank you, I think I will. I'll have a glass of Vitker's 87, if you have such."

The bartender checked his stock and returned with a glass, pouring the bubbling liquid into glass and handing it to the man.

"Well, all react differently, we can never be too sure." he said, while taking the Emperor's hand and shaking it firmly.

"Well, as to your question Nelson, I have my hands in many different businesses. I focus particularly on R&D and Manufacturing of devices that help the general populace, such as medical devices and home appliances. Of course, I do much more as well. Computers, automobiles, utilities and publishing are a handful of the other industries I dive into. How about you?"

Adm.Arnold walked into the bar, and took a seat, and said "Hello fellows, it's good to not be fighting in wars anymore, I am the Retired Rear Admiral, Commordore of Calizorinstan,Jack Arnold by the way." He sat down at the bar and said "I would like some Newcastle Brown ale please."

"You guys want to do something? Better yet, do any of you know how to do practice falconry? I got some birds who would love to give you a nature's version of an air force show off or air show as most people call them." Nelson said trowing the beer bottle away.
Honako

Nicolas Dubois had arrived at his home over six hours ago, and after exploring the facilities and admiring his gate and walls, which he believed to be by far the best in the whole complex, he decided to see what exactly happened around his place.

And so, after a ten minute drive around the area he noticed the bar with the numerous wildly expensive cars parked outside of it, and ushered his chauffeur to stop there. As his personal bodyguard and one of his closest friends, Fred Bank, opened up the door, he gracefully stood out, lifting his head high as he walked into the bar, to present himself in a light of superiority.

Dubois never left the house without Banks and his PA Missa Lowe, who he was shouting orders to even as he entered the bar.

"Buy it. I've always thought I wanted to expand into the housing industry - perhaps I can finally build some nice homes in Greater Honakon." He barked to his PA as he entered the bar.

"But Mr. Dubois, they are very reluctant to sell it...it makes them a lot of money, it's the biggest housing and estate agent company in Honako - they won't sell for less than $3 billion."

"$3 billion? And you made it sound expensive. Go on, finalize the deal - when I get my hands on this it will make me more than that in a year."

He looked around as he reached the bar, and noticed a number of rich looking fellows looking at him, some with smiles on there faces, and others a bit shocked. He quickly turned away from there gazes, and gestured to the bar tender before saying his order "I'll have the finest wine on the menu...and, make sure it tastes beautiful - I'm very selective when it comes to my wine, and I will not be amused if it tastes like grape juice."

Adm.Arnold said "I would love to learn falconry, and in fact I did some in my younger days, but I am getting old, and I just bought 635 acres for free as part of a colonial deal, where I get a farmhouse and I get to decide what to do with the land, I am going to make myself a private airport for my Il-62 to fly into. I just retired yesterday." He took his Newcastle brown, and sipped it, and put it down.

Dubois scanned threw the peace of paper in his hand - he had requested to one of the security men at the complex to receive a sheet saying all the people's names and jobs who had an estate there. None of them seemed to be in a similar line of field to him (Healthcare, Sports and Media mostly). He overheard there conversation and grumbled to himself "Falconry...many a times the rich forced me to do that whilst I was moving up in the world, and it bored me to no end..." - therefore he decided to introduce himself to the most imposing, powerful looking man in the room, who he believed was the Emperor of Maraque, a country he remembered for various attacks on there nation, religious wise, and with the much broadcasted attacks on the Grand Imperial Palace Grounds.

He walked over to the man and said "Good day Emperor Jovan, I believe we may be neighbours or at least nearby to each other in this complex - it is you that has the more expensive house to mine with the gold accented walls?" He smiled politely, something that even shocked his guard Banks - he never smiled. "Let me introduce myself, I'm Nicolas Dubios, the richest man in Honako, and the second most powerful man in the nation of Honako Inc. - more like a large city state. Though I prefer to be known for my golf skills. I have heard little reports of you or your nations since the attacks on Grand Imperial Palace Grounds quite a while back - how are things in Maraque?" He guessed the Emperor did not wish to talk politics much whilst here - but politics and business were Dubois two favourite subjects.

As Nicholas Dubois walked in, the Emperor took a glance back at the new arrivals.

"About time more people show up," he thought to himself.

Jovan kept a low key glance at the people as they made their way towards the bar, but that was mostly because of his keen military training which made him analyze everything, and everyone, he came in contact with.

Jovan grumbled under his breath... despite a few obvious luxuries and a gorgeous trophy wife, he was just a simple man who was "lucky" as he liked to put it. He did not enjoy it when people thought of him as superior, or superior people in general; but his polite nature hid his slight disdain.

"It is nice to meet you, Mr. Dubois," Jovan said. "The property with the lush forestry, ornate walls, and by far the most architecturally pleasing home in this entire club? Yes... I saw it from above as I flew in just over an hour ago."

"Things in Maraque could not be better - the economy is rebounding after the slight recession we had; personal income among the populous is among its highest in a decade, and my government gained greater power since the congressional elections put more parties' friendly to my government in power."

"I am more of a horse racing man myself, I have stables with my most prized horses at my estate here... I am also an avid fan of fine wines, with a collection worth more than $40 million..." he paused for a moment. "In my not-so-private life I rule over one of the most powerful economy's in Atlantian Oceania - and I'm the CFO of Anza Motors, which is part of the bigger Anza Conglomerate, a company of many different industries' run by my father."

Dubois exclaimed "Another interest of mine, infact, I should have one soon if the bartender hurries up" He darted a look at the man behind the counter "I have heard you have a cellar full of around 25,000 lovely drinks from the vine - mine merely holds one fifth of that, but my one in Honako displays nearly 35,000 bottles, some of which I would not even dare to consume because of there age! Though I felt my stays here are so short, I could not even dream of consuming that amount! Business takes up around 3/4 of my time, so really I can not stay at this luxurious home I have brought here for more than five days straight, and can not spend more than a few hours away from my large meeting hall and video room to converse with my fellow corporate highfliers - a businessman's life is forever busy sadly, though even as I turn 60 I have no wish to retire."

"And it is good to see Maraque back on it's feet economically - Honako went threw a terrible time after a terrible war, our economy literally collapsed, but we have recovered - infact the city state I have a part in ruling, Honako Inc., was the most ambitious of the government schemes to recover the economy, an entire city which focuses on it! We still have our problems though, and felt it necessary to join an alliance called COMECON, mostly to help benefit our economy."

"Nice and by the look of it, you got some of that money." Nelson said smirking.

"Oh, I only hunt when I need meat for myself or my birds. I dislike it when someone hunts for the heck of it, for fur and it really gets me when they do it just to kill something. Remember, humans have thin, sharp teeth. That means we were made to be carnivores, we eat meat and how do you get meat? Hunting." Nelson just had to defend hunting, but he also added.

"But yes, going out for a hike in the woods sounds nice, but... only a few of us are dressed for it." Nelson said as he was wearing a black t-shirt, a green windbreaker, green pants and brown hiking boots.

Dubois darted a shocked look at Nelson. He was a 60 year old man, worth $200 billion dollars, and wearing a sharp black suit that cost more than most people’s houses, with boots made from fine leather worth hundreds of thousands of Honakon Dimes - and they wanted to hike in the woods!

He tried to ignore the suggestion for a while, though he feared that within the hour he could be in the middle of a forest with mud down his leg. Instead, he talked to Adrian.

"Stories..." He grumbled to himself quietly, with him saying "I thought I had influence over the media, it best not have come from them..." being the only audible thing. He then continued "I hope they are good, of my outstanding business skills...talking of which, my PA has just returned. Missa is my most trusted person in my staff, beside my bodyguard Banks" He nodded at the tall imposing man next to him, and the small feeble woman who said "We've closed the deal - I got it for $2.78 billion"

"Brilliant" Dubois said, finally grabbing the drink that had arrived "And I shall toast to now adding being on the property market to my list of business endeavours."

"I was first introduced to wine at age 14, and from that moment on I became an aficionado of sorts." Jovan said. "My collection includes some of the oldest wines in the world, and my private cellar in Maraque is capable of holding up to 40,000 bottles."

"I definitely see where you're coming from. I never have time to do anything I wish to do, so I decided to handsomely pay some individuals to do my job while I take a three month retreat here. The country practically runs itself, and if necessary I can just connect with my cabinet via satellite to discuss anything."

"Fortunately there has not been a single invasion upon Maraquean soil by an outside aggressor; all our squabbles have been domestic, which I am most fortunate for. Our recession lasted more than two decades, and even though in 1st world standards almost every single Maraquean was living far beyond what is considered 'good,' they themselves did not see it as such, because their lifestyle, no matter how good, was still less than it was previously. The life of a spoiled population, eh?"

"The capitol of Maraque, Super City (Northern Maraque-Vorencia to locals, Vakira City officially) is a city state run by the Imperial Family, as it is not subject to the rules and laws of the rest of the country. It is also tax free; a haven for multinational corporations and the like. Over 25% of the population resides there... 1.25 billion people in a city comprising of 91,000 square miles... quite astounding."

"Ah, COMECON, you were just admitted yes? Maraque is a member of COMECON as well. Did you hear of the incident at the first general meeting?"

Jovan sat back, ordered another Vodka, and overheard the suggestion of a walk in the woods.

"Do I look like a man who would go on a walk in the woods?" Jovan said to himself. He was not dressed for the occasion in the least; a black, gray-pin striped custom tailored suit, along with a custom made $76 million diamond-encrusted watch, gray silk tie, fine black leather dress shoes and a black bear fur coat. The best description could only be "a sophisticated pimp," if there was such.

"These men have come prepared for everything" thought Dubois, as he watched them all, excluding Jovan, some with walking gear on, some with birds ready to fly nearby, and others bringing out cards, and god knows what else from endless pockets. Did they not just go to a bar to drink and socialise - though he could understand there eagerness to get along, and would probably endure any activity if they invited him - though with the prospect of gambling, something he was not too experienced at, the walking sounded more favourable.

Dubois began to reply to Jovan "Oh my - I must remember to visit Maraque one day - your culture sounds favourably. In the vibrant city of Honako Inc. drinking to moderate amounts is encouraged, as a healthy way to enjoy the day - whereas in the mainland and two larger countries of the region, it is a frowned upon thing seen as only being fit for the poor - it's a terrible thing to think my collection is also a Wine Museum, as they are no other collections anywhere near it in terms of volume in Greater Honakon, due to the strict Alcohol laws...they say it's to keep the body pure, it's a crime if you ask me..."

"And yes, I heard of the incident at the first meeting, infact I was watching it via a video link, quite strange it was - I do not approve of FreeAngola, if it is them you are referring too. There government makes Honako's look clean and democratic, and they seem to display propaganda about there huge weapons supplies, which they could hardly afford. I cannot lie that I am not happy about the invasion of them - the sooner they remain quiet, or at least reform and rethink their goverment, the better. And what was with the ultra quick plane that wizzed them off randomly? COMECON seems a good alliance, fair and keeping all nations involved - Honako has made some grave mistakes in alliance choosing, practically it's involvement in the CA - but now it maintains membership to ADAN, the High Council of the UFAN and COMECON, ones we agree with and view in a good light."

"Of course the stories are good. Your reputation preceeds you, and I shall toast with you to your expansion of business. The more things are put under singular control, the less they can compete with one another and have innocent people caught in the middle. Also, I can clearly tell that both you and the Emperor do not seem to have taken kindly to the idea of a walk, so I ask you what activity you would enjoy. I will gladly try anything. And on the subject of hunting, I believe that hunting for food is a part of life. I am not a vegetarian, but I believe that if there is no purpose to kill an animal other than for sport than it should not be killed."

COMECON seems a good alliance, fair and keeping all nations involved - Honako has made some grave mistakes in alliance choosing, practically it's involvement in the CA - but now it maintains membership to ADAN, the High Council of the UFAN and COMECON, ones we agree with and view in a good light.""Alcohol consumption is considered a civil right in Maraque..." Jovan said, laughing a bit. "The legal age to drink is 12, and it is not uncommon to see vast liquor cabinets in most residential spaces..."

"Our lax drug laws are also quite popular among the large tourist populations who visit just to go to 'drug farms' to get high and use other substances, legally. Of course all drugs are taxed at 85%, and every citizen is monitored by a national drug card which they must use when they purchase drugs at any drug store nationwide, which watches their consumption and when they reach their monthly limit they are barred until the next month. This has all but eliminated drug dealers, hence making even our least safe streets more favorable, because there is virtually no crime; our police are regarded as couch potatoes because they are constantly just sitting in their cruisers from lack of crime activity..."

"FreeAngola is just another small, poverty stricken dictatorship with nothing better to do than bully around nations more than five times its size. One of these days their nation will be glassed, and I will have no remorse for them because it will had been a long time coming. When they pulled that stunt at the COMECON general meeting, I almost wished I had ordered my delegations security to fire on them as to shut them up because quite frankly they were acting nothing short of five years old... then that oddball plane... what was that about? Anyway... Maraque previously was a member the Dominion Commonwealth, but we've just gotten out due to a shuffle of government and other laws, and we're currently active in the Grand Imperial Alliance. On the side, we're developing our space colony which just landed on the planet Akythei, which surprisingly enough has a very similar atmosphere to Earth, and our 10,000 or so people are currently exploring what the planet has to offer before we move people there permanently."

"Free Angola should be ignored in my honest opinion. Oh, and you mention Space exploration...that's reminds me of some of the darker days of Honako." He paused whilst he sipped his wine carefully - it was nice, not perfect, but he placed the money on the table to pay the bartender "We spent hundreds of billions, more than our economy could handle, on developing crafts for space - passenger crafts, to visit the Future Tech nations of this vast universe - it failed, miserably - we ended up having to sell off the old spacecrafts to corporations to advertise there products on. I lost $25 billion because of that, all of my personal assets. The idea of having a puppet planet so to speak has interested me greatly, though I feel that Honako is a long way off from developing the technology or having the money to do that."

He turned to Adrian.

"That is good to hear, my grip on the media is tight in Honako, and that's helps me mantain some influence worldwide, so I would hope that I wouldn't allow some sensationalist stories to your country." Dubois had been victim to stories by papers before, mostly due to his numerous affairs just before the death of his wife last year - the rumours were true, but he had spent $4.6 billion just to shut them up effectively - he had brought out the papers. "Anyway, walking is certainly not what I am dressed for - but I will explore with you I suppose - unless Jovan has a better idea, I may as well get to know my neighbours. As for my opinion on the barbaric act of hunting for sport - I think I just gave it really." Dubois whispered to Banks to get some of his boots from the car, if they were going to walk, he was not getting anything too expensive dirty.

The Maraquean Space Agency was able to develop a very fine spacecraft with a $500 billion grant by the Imperial Government, and it has gone to good use; we have a permanent space station that was built with the help of the Icovirian government, which has sadly ceased to exist in recent times. There is a 300,000 civilian population there to this day..."

"My opinion on hunting is that it is a most vile and despicable act; however, I understand it is needed in order for those of us who eat meat - me included - to survive, but I personally do not engage in it."

"I am willing to go on a walk through the woods, but I will no doubt have to change because I don't wish to get $150 million worth of clothing ruined, even though they could easily be replaced."

Jovan stood up, his bodyguards went in formation, and he walked out of the lounge. His wife stayed behind; a slender women of French/Indian descent, walked slowly to the bar like an angel from heaven, wearing a stunning burgundy gown that stopped just low enough for any men peeking to miss what was underneath.

"Hello gentlemen..." she said, her jewels shining so bright they could blind someone. She ordered absinth, and passed the bartender $1,000 for a tip.

A short time later, Jovan returned in more appropriate hiking wear and walked back to the bar.

"This will be a lot more suitable I think..." Jovan said.

"Absolutely, dear.." his wife said, rolling her eyes a bit.

"Have fun with your absinth..." Jovan said.

"Alright then. Let's finish our drinks and then see what this area has to offer in terms of pure nature. We can continue our conversation's out there." he swallowed the last of his drink and returned the glass to the barkeeper. He then walked to a changing room and returned scarcely ten minutes later with a long coat and a pair of traveling boots.

"Mind if I bring Jerry along? It's been awhile since he ate food he caught himself. Nelson said looking at Dubois, whom didn't seem happy about what Nelson just said.

"Don't worry, he's nice and won't bite... because he got no teeth." Nelson said smirking.

"I even got my glove with me and Jerry is in my jeep outside." Nelson said taking out a thick, brown glove with some brown strings attached.

"Are we going or what?"

He saw the men outside waiting for him as he got dressed in his Limo. The windows were blacked out, and Banks guarded the door - Dubois was a very private person. Finally, after ten minutes he got out. He wore thick walking boots that did not suit his fragile, proud and rich look, but were worth thousands not for there looks, but there comfort. Apart from that he had put on a cashmere jumper, and what he called his 'walking trousers', the ultimate in gear for long strolls - worth $800,000. Money and style was everything to him, even on a walk.

"Well, I suppose I will explore this place with you." And he stepped ahead of the others, opening a nearby gate that seemed to lead into a endless walkway, which then headed onto either open fields, a world class golfing course so he had heard, rugby and football pitches or thick woods (one of which returned back to his house).

Before he left he whispered something to Banks. "Safety is important" he said "I do not know these people." - and Banks, before locking the Limo, reached in for a 9mm Pistol, just in case.

A luxury helicopter came in slowly decending on the helipad. Inside sat Prince Nikako Kutz in his full military uniform (traditional early 1900's vintage) thinking about nothing imparticular, reading over security reports of happenings in Droskianishk and in Lerasia.

After the helo landed a uniformed man of the DSF (Droskianishk Security Forces) opened the door and saluted as the prince stepped out of the helo. The prince made his way down to where all the others were meeting and grinned a bit as he saw how many people were already here, he hated to be late but business was business...

Adrian walked at the front of the group genuinely marveling at the beauty of nature. It was such a shame that man had destroyed so much of it, and continued to destroy it, in order to wage war upon one another for pointless reasons. But he was not here to think about his true business, he was here to relax. So Adrian simply let his legs guide him through the impressive acres of forest, fields, and hills that the Club had.

Nelson walked with the group of people with Jerry, right on his now gloved hand. He let Jerry take off his hand, Jerry stayed in the air until Nelson took out a piece of meat out of his pocket. Jerry beautify flew back to Nelson's hand while also grabbing the meat in his beak.

"Good job on the landing Jerry." Nelson said taking out a second piece of meat and gave it to Jerry, before he took off again. Orbiting the the group of walkers.
