History:

Payal is a tiny island in the mediterranean, payal has last for over three hundred years, through a time that payians refer too as "New Age" or "Age of Blood". This was a war between minor factors including payal in which payal stayed and did not leave the region but with great victory comes great loses and payal was no exception as their population was damaged by the years of wars.

After the wars had ended Payal became the Armed Republic Of Payal, where a council of generals became the voice of the people to make sure the "Age of Blood" would never happen again.

After the bloodshed, crime in all its form increase at an alarming rate, this is where the countries Complusory military service came in, Youth crime drop along with all the rest of them, giving cizitens the time to breathe and go outside withour fear of rape, murder or robbery.

Euthanasia is illegal in Payal, even though it is horrible to watch someone go through so much pain day after day still on the road to life's end. Life is a treasure that is given to the people of Payal and we respect that even if pain takes your body life is top of the list.

Government Structure:

Payal Government Structure is a body of people, that is why they are a republic. The Payal Government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education.

Geography:

Payal Geography is not like any other mediterranean islands, its lands have been ravaged by war, famine and freak wheather storms. just on the edge of Payal terrortity there is a group of island that are referred as "Ghost Strecth" these islands have collected ships and lives of payian navy and other nations during the "Age of Blood".

Payal itself is a small yet lush island in some parts, its main industry is Beef-Based Agriculture. The Payian Hawk Monkey is over-populated and is a delicacy in Payal. Its Capital Tuya has a population of 6.3 Million.

The Expansion of mining into the remaining rainforests has started to put into effect a small deforestation programme called "Uri-Forest", this programme deals with the mining of the Uraiumn deposits under the forests.

Military Background:

Payian High Command - The Payian High Command was formed when Payal first became an Armed Republic, The High Command is broke down into three sections which are the Army, Navy And Air Force.

Payian High Command is under control by Payal's Leader Alan L. Lee but does not take part in any military actions. The man he rest all the power too is Jeffery K. Jaer who is the Commander In Cheif.

Payian Royal Army - The Payian Royal army is also split into three sections that cover both Home defense and Assault Forces. The Army deals with Ground problems such as Insurgents and Terrorists.

Royal Army has been around since the "Age Of Blood" but was reformed when Payal turned into an armed republic in which the Army now plays the most important part of all which is too keep its citizens safe from invaders.

The Three Sections Of Army are specials corps, Vanguard Elite, Homeguard and the Payian Special Forces codenamed "Scarabs".

Vanguard Elite - The Elite of the elite, these soliders trained to feel nothing as emotions lead to weakness, Vanguard Elite are the top of the table when coming to warfare as they will use special tactics that even the Payian Special Forces AKA "Scarabs" won't. These tactics are classified and will not be disclosed to any other than the Military High Command or Vanguard Elite Themselves.

Vanguard Elite do not recruit like any other military force they look in each part of the military looking for the best of the best to be given the chance of joining this elite fighting unit, Training for a regular Vanguard is 5-6 weeks some people say the experience is like getting new life, like being born again but only stronger mentally and phyiscally.

The Vanguard having their own Armour Divison named "Fury on Wheels", this is their insignia:Fury On Wheels (http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/9363/3copywr9.jpg) Know as Payian 3rd Armoured Division they are known well for the quick drive n drop tactcis.

Homeguard - The homeguard are trained in defence of one's country and land, they form a large ammout of Payian defence and work together with the Vanguard Elite/Elite Vanguard to watch over the borders and landscape.

Homeguard have seen action in the revolt of 1989 when communists tried to invade the Tuya, the capital. they homeguard held of the Communists for five days before pushing them back inch by inch regaining back Payian soil. This invasion ended at the battle of red rocks, it was named red rocks as the communists where force to flee by jumping of a cliff then plunging to their deaths on the rock below.

Being the last line of defense for Payal, the homeguard also acts as top R&D in the payian military making sure that Payal has the weapons to defend themselves.

Payian Special Forces(Scarabs) - The Scarabs as they are called are top of their game when it comes to covert ops. Being some what of a large force they have become the feared tip of the spear in some warzones.

noted for there patch of a payian terror scarabs, they strike without warning and Provocation. Being around from the time of the "Age of blood", the scarabs have envolved over time to become warriors of the sand and shadows becoming invisible to the eye until that single moment of a glimer before all hell breaks loose.

Using a modified verision of the XM8, they are a stout fighting force and do not faulter without a fight, trained to stand and fight than run away from there glory either in this life or the next.
