Le 12 mai 2007:

Genève, the beautiful capital of Gallique and the Confederation. Here, the Conseil Fédéral has elected its new president - Sébastien D'Evereux. The Chef de Conseil of the Canton de Genève, he is already well-known throughout the country, and it is only certain that his election bodes well for the rest of the Confederation. With the elections done, he prepares himself for the greatest challenge - to bring the Confederation into the world.

With that, he sent out the following invitation to the world:

Welcome to the Confederacy of Gallique! My name is Sébastien D'Evereux, et I send you my most sincere greetings. I have been elected by the Conseils Fédéral to bring the Confederation into the New World, I am hoping that it will accept us. Presently, I would like to speak with you about establishing formal relations with your country. It is the first step to gain access into the New World, and to assure our existence int it - so that we may all grow together. Come, and we shall embrace you warmly.

Greetings from the Technocratic Union of Vetalia,

We wish to extend formal diplomatic relations with the Confederacy of Gallique. Our nation salutes your decision to enter in to foreign affairs, especially since we too have only recently opened our doors to large scale diplomatic affairs. We hope that our nations can build a solid friendship and work together to ensure a mutually beneficial environment for ourselves as well as our allies.

To this end, we wish to propose an embassy exchange. We will construct an embassy in your capitol of Genève, and you will in turn be able to construct one in our capitol of Vetalia City. The terms and conditions of this exchange will be listed if they are necessary; they are simply limits on the number of personnel and some medical requirements, and so are not at all difficult or time-consuming to adhere to.

In the future, once your nation has established itself on the world stage, we would also like to invite you in to our defensive and economic partnership the COMECON-SD. However, since you are still entering the diplomatic world, we are not pressuring you to join and would not advise it at this point.

Best wishes for the future,

Praetor Vladimir Chernomyrdin

On Behalf of the Conseils Fédéral, I would like to assent to these terms of recognition. We are glad to receive such warm invitations from your government, and while we will exercise restraint in becoming too entangled too quickly, I assure you that we will consider a partnership with the COMECON-SD when the time arrives for it. In the meantime, we are proud to submit the residency of the Monsieur Jean-Jacques Passot, whose limited experiences abroad give him th best credentials in serving as our first ambassador to any foreign country in the world. While he will not supervise the foundations of the embassy in Vetalia City, he will certainly be prepared for any upcoming diplomatic affairs involving our two countries.

We also welcome your own embassy in Genève, where we hope to cultivate a warm friendship as the Confederation establishes itself in the world. We have a potential that is waiting to unfold into the world, and we hope to have numerous allies to share in this wealth. Again, we thank you for your sincere invitations.

On Behalf of the Conseils Fédéral, I would like to reciprocate your warm welcome and invite your government to establish an embassy in Genève. It carries a special homely feeling, and it is the best place to conduct any sort of diplomatic business in the Confederation. At the moment, the Conseils Fédéral cannot find a suitable ambassador to represent our beloved country in your lands, but rest assured, we shall find a good match soon. As for a suitable location in your country to host an embassy, we would prefer a principal city, such as your capital, but we leave it to your discretion where to invite us.

On your remarks, I am so honored to receive the recognition from abroad, and I can give thanks to my fellow Councilors, who have confided their trust in me to head the Conseils Fédéral. As President, I hope to open the window to more like-minded countries as yours - and indeed pave the way to open prosperity with other countries in your region. Hopefully, the Confederation will reap the wealth of its progress and indeed the world may share with it.

M. President of the Conseils Fédéral Sébastien D'Evereux

I appreciate your warm invitations, and I am happy to accept the establishment of formal relations. If it suits you well, the Galliquesque Confederacy is proud to offer construction space in Genève for your embassy. At the moment, the Conseils Fédéral has yet to select an ambassador to represent us in your country, but as soon as possible, we will make it our best choice possible. For our own embassy in your country, we prefer the capital, but we leave it to your discretion.

Again, we are so happy to receive the world's warm acceptance. When the time comes, we will grow well and share the wealth of our works. We thank you for your generous welcome.

We would be most honoured indeed to establish an embassy in your nation. We are selecting the most suitable Ambassador to send, although this process should not take long. [OOC: Can't think of any names.]

As for the Gallique Embassy, we would be honoured to offer you a plot on the under-construction Consulate Avenue. Built to provide space away from the now-full Embassy Square, you have the option of constructing your own embassy, or simply moving in to a prebuilt one.

Consulate Avenue is located in our capital city, Misenae.

We await your reply with great anticipation.

We agree to the conditions for the embassy placement, and we are willing to move onto Consulate Avenue. We apologize that the Confederation is unable to boast the same opportunity, but we are building your embassy as quickly as possible. In the meantime, once you have selected an ambassador, he or she shall be granted temporary residence at the Palais Fédéral until the embassy is completed.

We have likewise appointed a new ambassador to represent us in your country - Georges Mourmont. We hope that his service satisfies both our country and yours.

First off, my government would like to welcome your noble nation to the international stage. It is always a good sign when a country rejects isolationist tendencies for the greater good of global peace and national prosperity.

Secondly, I have been given the go ahead by our Federal President to authorize the establishment of a Galliquese (?) embassy in our capital of Urushalim. We would be honoured if you allowed us to establish our own embassy in your capital of Genève, in fact I have already handpicked Mr. Tamtu Nesos to serve in this position if you would allow us.

And finally, as a member of COMECON-SD I would suggest joining this alliance since it could serve your sovereign nation as a source of allies and financial aid. Of course, we do not want to be seen as trying to pressure you in any way and refusal to join will in no way be seen as a rejection of friendship between our governments.

We are glad to be received so warmly by your government. I am honored likewise to receive much accolade for my election as Président of the Conseils Fédéral.

As to the establishment of formal diplomatic relations, we are more than willing to found a Galliquesque [ooc: for future reference ;)] embassy in your capital of Urushalim. We have yet to appoint an ambassador to serve that post, but we will work on it as soon as possible. In the meantime, we will be glad to offer M. Tamtu Nesos residency in the Palas Fédéral while the embassy is being constructed.

And for your invitation, while we have not ruled out the possibility of joining an alliance in the near future - indeed, we have already received an invitation from another of your allies, Vetalia - we are cautious about becoming too entangled in the world politics that it could endanger our national interests of the Confederation. We will give it thorough thought nonetheless when we feel the time is appropriate.
