Chapter I: The Calm Before the Storm
Mainland Dephire, Outer Rim Islands, Gemini Islands, and Los Mexican Penninsula:
It has been some time since the Dephirians ever thought of going to conflict. Since the Civil Conflict that had struck Dephire nearly ten years ago, things have begun to settle down. The Dephirian leader was still Jonathan Vega, but his second in command was Kane Vega.
Several things had occured over the past few days that brought Dephire to a new realization that will ultimately bring about the massive mobilization of the largest force ever created by the people of Dephire. With the leaders of Lone Wolf converted to the Dephirian's side, and Deconter finally working efficiently, factories and workshops were opened on an openly large scale. Nearly two and a half billion men and women were working to produce weapons. Another four billion men and women were producing food, clothing, and supplies. At the steady pace of this super-mobilization, tanks, aircraft, missiles, guns, ammunition, and even ships were being mass produced at rates never before achieved by the Dephirians.
Jonathan Vega had begun calling in all of his forces to start gathering at the metropolitan ports of San Salvadorea, Chitze, Siem, and Rizgar. During the Civil Conflict with Lone Wolf, the first three cities mentioned recieved heavy damages, but after a great movement of nationalism, the cities were rebuilt ten-fold.
Jonathan Vega also begun a recruitment drive for the youth men fifteen years of age and older. Due to the military training given to these youths during their school years, many quickly joined voluntarily. The youths were being sent to "Shock Camps" were they will be reintroduced to combat training for the next few days.
New Louisianna
In New Louisianna, Dephire's northwestern territory in Chitzeland, had been developing ever since being assimilated into the Dephirian Empire. With a population of roughly ninety million people, most of which are either active-duty military or retired veterans of the Chitzeland conflict. Hundreds of ships had been built by the people over the past several years. Just as in their motherland of Dephire, the people of New Louisianna had opened war factories and shops to begin producing weapons at expotential rates.
Sky scrapers rose high above the horizon, a result from massive modernization and development. Trains dropped off supplies from one area of New Louisianna to another constantly.
Here, shock camps were not as common because most of the citizens were either former military or were still in the military. Entire sections of fertile land were converted to create food manufacturing plants.
Deconter
Deconter, a territory south of Corporate Alliance member Iragia, had also been recently assimilated into the Dephirian Empire. Ever since the Civil Conflict ten years ago, Dephire had made its Primary Naval Fleet remain stationed in Deconter just in case it needed to repel an incoming attack from any potential enemy.
With the huge population boost, Deconter blossomed into a powerful Dephirian asset. With a population pushing eighty-five million people, Deconter had become nearly self-sufficient. However, when the call for super-mobilization was sent, the people answered without question. Cheers resounded amongst Deconter as people felt right at home. War was their past time.
Nearly ten thousand ships floated within five hundred square miles of Deconter's harbors. The build up of naval ships was Deconter's main job.
