History: After the pre-war country of Ukraine broke up, city-states and regional warlords took power of various areas. One of the strongest of these was the City-state of Odesa. It was lead by one of the city's former political leaders, Andriy Urchin and the leader of the army garrison, Marko Eremenko. With the army garrison they soon brought order to Odesa and surrounding areas. The USO soon expanded into the rest of Southern Ukraine while the Northern part of Ukraine fell into the hands of rival government. After several bloody years of civil war in 2005 a peace accord was signed between the two. In 2010 the USO expanded into Moldova. The country was still in chaos and the USO was well received.
Current Conditions: The infrastructure of the country is severely damaged. While the major cities have electricity, the countryside has none. Roads are in disrepair and the rail network is unusable. The USO has sizable oil deposits and trades oil with other countries. Much of the money from trade is put into improving the infrastructure.
Current Relations: Relations between the USO and Kievans are very tense. The USO is open to alliances from other countries.
