The Chancellor has just recently unvailed to the world what exactly that massive works project that had been going on in the Bay of Neptune is. Many have speculated that it is to control sea traffic, or even a dam of some kind, but these speculations were shattered upon the news coming out that it is actually a massive sea wall. The sea wall stretches across the entire Bay of Neptune, roughly 500 miles long, and maintains one mile wide gates for each city, which will be operated by the city with which it provides service. Cities with sea gates are Divinity, Redemption, Paradise City, and New Atlanta. The wall, which is said to be layered over in several feet worth of reinforced concrete, is expected to house a vast array of weaponry ranging from massive railguns to fifty caliber machine guns. Already, several guns have been installed, and over two hundred 152mm model 1938 howitzers are now in place. These are only a small taste of what is to be brought into the massive fortification, and their range of only just over twelve kilometers is expected to be dwarved by the railguns that are planned to be placed along the wall. Also thought to be included in the wall will be a small hanger and a heliport, as well as a dry dock for ships in need of emergency repairs.

This, however, did not come without a cost. The wall will keep Confederate military spending on the low for years to come with the estimated cost of the wall, as well as all of the weapons expected to be on it, have run up as high as three trillion credits. "Its all worth it if it is in the defense of the Confederacy" General Marcus Blueshield was quoted as saying in a press conference about the wall earlier this morning.

Forewall Armament:
Five hundred S-500 SAM/ABM systems
Two thousand Sea Zenith CIWS

Current Wall Armament:
One hundred 400mm railguns
Two hundred 152mm model 1938 howitzers
Five hundred Khan class missiles w/ launchers
One thousand 500mm torpedo tubes
Four thousand Sledgehammer II missiles w/ launchers
Five thousand Goalkeeper CIWS
Five thousand 88mm flak cannons

There are two things which I think might interest you especially amid the relative normality.

Hataria’s colonies were taken as weregild for a war it lost and presently it’s facing a blockade which may spark further war:

Official Response of the Commonwealth Navy

The Commonwealth Navy fully supports the efforts of the Blackhelm Confederacy to cripple its own economy through massive public expenditures that simultaneously impose severe restrictions on the ability of merchant ships to transit their waters. We also are highly appreciative of the Confederacy's creation of chokepoints that we may easily shut to impose a blockade as well as bottle up their naval forces. In order to assist the Confederacy with their own suicide, we offer to emplace, free of charge, naval mines to sink ships transiting through these gates.

OOC: ha ha very funny. We already did that;) But seriously, trade wouldnt be hit to hard, the gates are pretty big, and the lines would not be too long since there are four openings.

Lifesblood, do I know you?

Bump for addition of the forewall.

Forewall is a thin, shallow sea level wall in front of the main wall, covered in CIWS and SAM's

Don't make it shallow or all your CIWS and SAMs will be ruined by salt water.

We would like to send engineers to learn more efficient ways to build canals , dams, and irrigation on a HUGE scale. We believe this could help us greatly on how to finance and complete such large projects.

We humble ask for the OK to procede.

I mean it does not run all the way to the sea floor,it only goes down a few yards, enough to hold everything up.

We are sorry, but much of the wall is to be kept secret, and so we must deny your request,
