New Arms Request (Mt Or Early PMT)
The Shakal Empire is in need of a new Main Battle Tank to help phase out the dieing M1A4 Abrahms. We shall pay in full as soon as the order is filled. We shall also pay great amounts for the production rights to the veichle we decide on.
Criteria
Weapons
The new main battle tanks main gun must be turreted and be a 140mm weapon so that Shakal ammunition from the W-IV can be interchanged. Preferable 2 Coaxial Machine Guns should aslo be on the veichle.
Tonnage
The weight of the tank should be no more than 70 tons to allow it easy tranport on Shakal airlift planes.
Ammunition
Recent excursions have shown that armored units simply must hold more ammunition. The acceptalbe range is from 70 upwards so long as safety and weight restrictions are followed.
We are willing to negotiate if one of the critea is off but the others remain within acceptable bounds.
OOC:Im going to narrow it down to 3 candidates then pick the best one.

Phoenix Dynamix offers the T-1/T-1A1 Scorpion (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Scorpion) Main Battle Tank, as well as the T-3A2 Warrior (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Warrior) to fulfill your needs.
If neither of these are satisfactory we can submit details on the new Talon tank, but it is not ready for international sales right now, although it is possible in the near future.
The prices per tank can be negotiated depending upon size of purchase but as a general guide they are around $4 to $5 million per tank.
If possible I would like to buy the production rights to the T-1/T-1A1. If not possible ill buy an order of 500 of them. We are willing to pay 4.2 million per tank.

The domestic production rights for the T-1A1 (which is the variant you probably want {it has the smoothbore 140mm}) will cost $2,880,000,000 (2.88 billion universal standard dollars) [and you get 100 actual copies of the tank included in the price] but you can make an unlimited number of copies for yourself.
500 Tanks(not a very large amount) will cost $2,400,000,000(2.4 billion universal standard dollars)
So we leave it up to you to decide the most cost effective choice for your needs and means is.
The Shakal will buy the production rights to the T-1/T-1A1 for $2.88 Billion Dollars. The money will be transferred right away.

OCC: Shakal, I would have bought the NakilA1, and waited for people to show you items besides him. In addition, his designs are not draftroom approved.

OOC:
The PeoplesFreedom: PM has his own issues with the draftroom and many on the draftroom have thier issues with him, i don't think much more needs to be said.
Shakal: 70 140mm rounds or indeed 30 rounds would likely be pushing things too far. On a sub 70ton tank that sort of ammo is likely more or less impossible

Firehelper would like to offer the T-140 (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/T-140)
While it may not meet your specifications we are willing to work towards making an acceptable variant
OOC: on a side not most tanks hold 30-40 rounds because any more and they would have to enlarge their turret. This increased size can lead to turret jamming when a hot is lodged between the gaps of the turret and body. I highly reccomend that you do not do this
