History:

Due to its remote location, The UPSS avoided much of the onslaught in WWIII. The major cities, however, were leveled, and much damage was inflicted on the smaller cities as well. Over time, however, the people began to emerge from their hiding places. They realized that they must band together for survival, and thus founded the UPSS


Current Standings:

Currently, the UPSS is a diplomatically shy nation. Those wishing to have diplomatic relations must contact them first. Once conacted though, the UPSS oftentimes moves quickly up the diplomatic scale to a near allied status. Due to the small land mass that the UPSS covers, the army is relatively underfunded and undermanned. The UPSS makes up for this, they believe, by investing heavily in their Navy and Air Force. It goes without saying that these are among the best in the world.

Our troops will not defend your lands though, but both Armies from the 2 countries will go for regular BDP training from both of our Nation's trainers. We will provide money for your research at our own choice (same for you) so we can get the Blue prints. Okay, three things.

1) Even if you are a Northern Nation, you don't have that much oil. You shouldn't be able to run that many aircraft and ships at once. You can keep them, but you can't field them together.

2) Since the true rp hasn't started yet, all of your rping so far is "historical". Meaning that you'll be able to choose how long this alliance has been in effect.

3) Hanoko will be a Southern Nation.

Regardless, the factbook is pretty good.

We would be interested in usurping their claims to Southern Andalucia, and we find that your nation may help us. If you do decide to aid us, you should be aware that there will be many rewards. The straits of Gibraltar will be opened up to your nation to pass through freely, and you will be garaunteed a fair trade agreement or treaty should you decide you require one with Europa.

You do not have to send troops to Iberia, necessarily, but perhaps you could supply us with diplomatic support and/or military arms and supplies.

If they resist, they will die. Are they not but mortal men, unexceptional in any way? My troops have God by their side and in their hearts, and his wrath in their weapons.

We are not attempting to put you into some sort of debt, that would be absolutely absurd, friend. We merely wish to garner international support. Perhaps, if Iceland does not back down, you can begin bombarding and blockading their occupation zones in Denmark, as that would be a great aid to demoralizing their cause and supporting ours.
