Stab in the bloody dark here, but how about a....totally original RP!?

Basically good and evil factions. Each player RP's for their character group. Choose your characters in your group. This does not have too follow the book or the movie, therefore all you need is a map of middle earth:

Evil faction tries too get the ring, Good faction is trying too reach Amon Hen. If the RP is popular enough, we will go on. (Two towers, etc)

Good:

Group 1:

Me- Boromir, Legolas

*Basically, there will be a few more groups. Request 2-3 characters (based on people joining up) and we will assign from their.

Characters available:

Gimli

Gandalf- The Scandinvans

Frodo

Merry

Pippin- Calizorinstan

Sam

Aragorn- Calizorinstan

Evil Forces available-

*These work differently. Choose two heroes, or you can mix and match with a Uruk/orc battalion. Use two orc battalions, or 1 hero, 1 battalion, etc.

Uruk-Hai Battalion

Mordor Orc Battalion

Lurtz

Saruman

Witch King

Haradrim Battalion (easterlings)

Rhun Battalion (Sauron allies)

*Background*

Frodo has been stabbed by the witch king on weathertop. Arwen has sped him too Rivendell, where the fellowship awaits. The council has finished, and it has been decided: The one ring will go with the hobbit Frodo Baggins too the very fires of mount doom. A company of honor guard will see this done. The company is led by Gandalf the Grey, who must decide the path the fellowship is too take.

Meanwhile the easterlings, the wicked Haradrim, are heeding the calling of the evil lord Sauron. Rhun soldiers approach in obedience, as the orcs of Mordor are mustered for the final assault against the world of men. In Isenguard the traitor Saruman now holds dominion over a vast array of super orcs, his fighting Uruk-Hai. The people of Rohan will fall before his might, but he has other matters on his mind. Namely, the half ling who bears the ring of power.

The idea: try to make a game that sucks more than it.

I'll be Aragorn and Pippin if you don't mind. I am an avid fan of LOTR in fact, would this RP continue through the book's?

Noted and added. No the RP does not follow the books....thus being an RP.... anyway we'll see if it can pick up any steam, but other than that its an RP really. Boromir can take the ring from Frodo and run off, Lurtz can marry Gandalf, anyway the wind blows.

Hehe! I picked Aragorn and Pippin, becaus they are my favorite characters in the whole LOTR, Pippin for the humor, and Aragorn I guess for being a big hero.

Small nitpick:

You have "Haradrim batallion" listed and in parentheses next to it we see "easterlings." Below that we have "Rhûn Batallion" clarified as "sauron's allies."

Rhûn refers to a specific area of Middle Earth, that (as far as I know) is controlled by the Easterlings during the Third Age. A Haradrim batallion cannot be native to Rhûn, so a more accurate clarification would probably be "Haradrim Batallion (Sauron's allies)" and "Rhûn Battalion (Easterlings)."

Being that I claim the (modern) equivalents of the Easterlings, Haradrim, Dunlendings and Veriags, I need to know these things :p
