OOC: Word for acheiving the goal of being stickyed!

These are the yellow pages of NationStates. All the active storefronts will hopefully be listed here. Simply tell me your storefront's name and provide me the link and I will add you. To make sure this list is of active storefronts, please notify me to aid the process if one storefront has been inactive for some time now, and I will remove it from the list. This is an attempt to make sure we don't keep diverting traffic to inactive storefronts away from the active ones. Storefronts whose equipment has passed through the NSDraftroom are listed in red. I firmly recommend posting any desings there before posting them on II, as they can help work out your major design flaws that might otherwise get your products ignored.

No it is definitely NOT a "better" storefront.

Of over 200 products, 5 are your own, less than 30 are made by other nations and only licensed to be sold by you and the rest are just links to real life equipment in wikipedia, world.guns.ru and other websites.

Your storefront may be nicely organized and easy to navigate but there is almost zero originality, and you are mostly selling open tech that anyone can have/make on their own. It is a nice idea that you can sell soviet based weapons from many different NS Soviet nations, but I really don't see any value whatsoever in listing over 100 links to rl equipment. You should remove all of the RL stuff except for say the best rl example in each section, if you still want to sell rl equipment.

I disagree with you listing "better" storefronts in red. To be perfectly honest i am sure once you get more and more storefronts listed then i could come along with a storefront that has just one weapon which is an M16 wanked unbelievably and at a cost of $20.

TSS saying ROFL that DMG should be labeled as better is just one example of how that idea=fail. Its a good idea, but unfortunately won't work (and lets not forget anyone can have a puppet recommend it :P).

Other than that its a good list if it stays active but a lot of people won't list their storefronts because a) their too lazy (even if their good) or b) they will miss this thread as they only have set threads they check or what not.

Hm, I told everyone about stupidcensorship at my school.

I am so glad that two of my storefronts were recommended (Impractical and Integrated), but for those interested in the black market, I recommend:

"Universal Exports", link in my signature.

It is perhaps the most comprehensive weapon's catalog in NationStates, and the only one that offers things like biplanes, small aircraft carriers, and a large selection of NS designed equipment. Though I'm working on making Integrated a big multiNStional storefront.

I'd like to nominate Van Luxemburg's VLT Storefront, if only for the amount of effort he's gone to with each and every car.

Is there a guide to how storefronts work?

If not Do they actually mean what they are selling or is it make-beleive? Can you use their products for war or defence against other nations?
Where are the products listed that I have purchased?
How do you "wire" money from your budget to buy items?

CARCOAT: [sitting in front passenger seat and almost shouting] Right, it's at times like these that the element of surprise is of the utmost importance, so be as quiet as you can. [pointing to the pavement] Park over there. [the car comes to a halt, suddenly, blocking the front door of the shop.]

DS SQUEAK: Blimey, I wouldn't like to buy one of these cars, after the police have finished with them.

CARCOAT: [giving SQUEAK a look] Shut it!

They get out of the car and slam the doors. Four uniformed officers run round the back, while CARCOAT and his two detectives burst through the front door. The shop is very busy, with customers squeezed into a small space.

CARRROTCAKE: Oh, I'm not 'avin' this. We're number bleedin' eleven in the queue. [Shouting to woman behind counter] Oi, can't you put on a few extra staff? I'm trying to arrest people, here!

[staff freeze and then run for it]

CARCOAT: That's torn it. [bellowing and trying to wade through customers] Well, don't just stand there: get after 'em.
