This is a dark comedy set in suburban America during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The world tetters on the brink of nuclear war. The United States and the Soviet Union stand on the edge as the Cold War reaches its' boiling point. Across the globe, the Cold War is fought from South America to South Asia. America stands as the great democratic power, standing between the godless communist hordes and the free people of Earth. Every person does his and her part to deter Communism, seeking out its' supporters. The very thing that makes America great is underthreat of Communist usurption. In a suburban community in California, the latest battle in the Cold War will be waged. The stakes: America and everything she stands for. Thomas Smith, hard worker, loving husband, and caring father is a true blooded American and loves his country. One day, his perfect American life chsanges forever when a new family moves in next door. They are a Russian family who recently moved to the United States in the hopes of beginning a new and better life. They are instantly viewed with suspicion and outcasted by the concerned citizens of the block. Suspicion and mistrust mounts as Thomas begins to uncover the truth and expose them as Communist spies to the rest of the people. American society is threatened by their presence and Thomas will do anything to rpotect his family and his country. Are his suspicions nothing but fear created by American propoganda or is their something more sinister in store for America?
