High Priest Jackywobb calmed down. This wasn't the end of everything.

The High Priest was a golden snakelike creature with a green undersid and inumerable centipede legs arranged in pairs. His anteneae drooped over his third eye. This was the being that decided on numerous occassions who lived and who died. This was the being who simply never got upset.

Now, he was upset.

"I suppose that they think they can survive on their own?"

"They've taken some of the hostages, sir. They appear to be working on a Drainer."

"Oh, mren."

"What should we do? We can't retake them, they are our military!"

The High Priest thought long and hard about this before saying, "We must call for other nation's help in this matter."
