Work on the first unit of the Konstantin Class started in 2002. The Konstantin Class was designed to replace Czechalrus' aging Typhoon Class Fleet of Ballistic Missile Submarines. The first vessels where laid down on September 12th, 2003. The Czechalrussian Navy currently operates multiple vessels and plans to construct another five in the near future. She was designed to be capable of delivering a large nuclear payload from anywhere across the globe. The Konstantin Class is remarkably quiet for a vessel of it's size, although it is not completely quite. her large number of torpedo tubes is to allow The Konstantin Class to engage multiple enemy submarines or fire a "wall" of torpedoes at an enemy target.

Capability for substitution of 3M14/SS-N-30 Bulava SLBM in place of RSM-52/SS-N-20 Sturgeon, although initial examples will make use of the Sturgeon arsenal in place.
Deletion of RPK-2 Viyoga, to add capability for RPK-55/555 cruise missiles and/or additional 533mm torpedo capacity.

With these modifications made, plus rights for domestic production so that our strategic arsenal keeps pace with our population to be protected, all should be in order.
