Prologue

Due to budget crisis in deficit in Leocardia, big cuts on immigration control has been applied, leaving an open entry into Leocardia from its neighboring countries. A small, mountainous region that connects Leocardia and a hostile country, known as "Rekusta" in Leocardian for Revolutionists, have been cut off security. The story starts when revolutionists from Rekusta (anyone can be this rebel group) has entered into Leocardia, spreading propaganda and creating violence in Leocardia. It was never known to Leocardian Intelligence that right before their border security pull, they had plans to enter through the same exact border where they were once occupied in.

With frequent violence in Leocardia's southernmost city, Nikia, Leocardia's Nikia Provincial Defense Headquarters was overtaken by rebels, and made defense officials say that Nikia is the prime base for these Rekusta rebels. A 340-mile long front has been established by the Leocardian Guard, and have been also rumored carrying secret plans on destroying the city as a whole. The population of Nikia is approximately 19 million people, a capital city for a self-governing province that has a reputation on trying to establish an independent state. Leocardia, and the rest of its provinces, don't like that.

It was only then, a very hard attack was confronted in the most eastern side of the front. 3,400 Rekustans, armed with very powerful arms attacked, lasting 16 hours...

"9-4, THIS IS 9-4. DO YOU COPY?"

"Copy that. What is it?" a reinforcement operator said calmly.

"95-35-6, EASTERN FRONT IS BEING ATTACKED! I NEED A FUCKING BACKUP!"

Q-5s were in the scene in 5 quick minutes, and attacked at enemy positions, but they were not enough backup, the jets reported to the main base to send a load of troops.

"Fantan-6, enemy forces attacking. We need some backup here bigtime."

Another 15 minutes passed, and the reinforcements had arrived.
A cargo truck carrying 20 soldiers sped through.

"All right guys, we're going to jump in here and shoot anyone you see, gotcha?"

The truck stopped and the doors opened. "GO GO GO!"

The troops scrambled all over and bullets and dust were all in the air. The fight was not over, enemy tanks acquired from an unknown source ripped through the barricades of Leocardian defenses. Soon, the defenses were only ruins of barricades and destroyed trucks. Yet, the Q-5s continue to pound the enemy tankers, seemingly like this fight would be a very big one.

It's an Communist vs. Revolutionists battle, and I'm going to allow a 4 on 4 match, with someone playing the rebels.

"My lord, it appears a massive civil war has broke out in Leocardia. It appears to be a classic war of communism pitted against the revolutionaries."

"Interesting. I want hourly updates on the situation. Perhaps we could aid the revolutionaries and enable them to win the civil war, thus winning their trust. Thus forth we can also instill Imperial values into the new Leocardia."

"Well said my lord."

"Dispatch the 3rd Fleet and the 2nd Airborne Brigade to aid in the revolution. Send them a encrypted message notifying them of our aid. Also on my authorithy, authororize a transaction of 2 billion USD to aid in their war effort. Send in caches of arms, armaments and the newest military hardware we have. We want them to win dammit."

"Of course sir!"

Imperial 3rd Fleet - Headquarters

"Sir, incomming orders, top priority from the Emperor's office."

"Read it."

"Yes sir! Imperial orders are as follows: Move out and aid in all forms necessasary to enable a win against the communist forces in Leocardia."

"Hmm, alright then. Lets do it."

"Aye aye sir!"

Upon the Admiral's orders, the 3rd fleet's crewmen and sailors were woken up from their bunks when the PA systems blared and a message was played, ordering all to rise from their slumber.

Of course there was widespread groaning, but after a while, naval procedures kicked in and they fell in for reporting.

After doing some misc admin work and servicing, the 3rd Fleet left port. Destination: Leocardia...

A message was sent in advance on highly encrypeted frequencies

From: Imperial 3rd Fleet
Subject: Imperial Naval, Military and Economic Aid

This is Admiral Jack Brown of the 3rd Imperial Fleet. I have just received orders to pair up with the 2nd Airborne Brigade to aid you in your civil war against the communist forces.

You will receive naval and air support as well as ground unit support in your fight. Alongside with that, you'll also receive Imperial Military Arms, Armaments and the latest military hardware with 2 Billion USD in funding.

"Commander, we have new messages from an ally."

"An ally?" Revolutionist Mike James wondered to himself. Has he finally earned the trust of an allied nation to support his revolutionary cause for new Leocardia? "All right, let me see it." He snatches the note and reads.

"All right, excellent. Full aid from the... err," He reads the note again. "From Mationbuds!"

"Really?! How much?"

"Naval and airforce, some infantry, and 2 billion aid."

"That sounds great, what can we do now?"

"Keep this a secret. Tell the men about the great news, but never keep an open mouth on this. I don't want the Leocardians to know about this!"

"Okay." Right when the aide was about to walk out his house, he was stopped.

"WAIT! We need to pull another attack before the Leocardians come at us again, round another group of 30 guys under technicals and attack. We're going to use the war of attrition stragety for now."

OOC: My troops are tied up in Zanski and Zhyolatskan, but I can send aid. I will be aiding the Communists (as usual).
IC: An aid ran into the daily meeting of the Nothern Baltic Foriegn Relations Council. He whispered into the ear of the head of the Council, Mrs. Gulsar. "Ma'am we have a situation in Leocardia..."
"What is it?"
"Civil war. Communists being attacked it seems."
Mrs. Gulsar spoke into the microphone to the council. We require an emergency vote. Information about the Leocardian Civil War and Leocardia appeared on the several screens in the meeting room.
"Leocardia is being attacked by revolutionaries. We are now voting on Aid Bill Number 3476, to aid Leocardia against attacking revolutionaries."
"Please fill in your votes now. You have one minute to complete your desision."
The votes came out after several seconds: 7-5. The situation would now be moved to the Nothern Baltic Military Supply Council, who would vote on what material to send. After much debating, the NBMSC decided to send the following:
400 A-6 Intruders
500 Folland Gnat Ground Attack Aircraft
150 Hong H-5 Light Bombers
50,000 Carl Gustaf Recoilless Rifle
5,000 Dragunov SVD

Another attack struck the Leocardian front. Though, not as severe from the last one, that took nearly 562 lives of Leocardia's People's Army. It was tanks against civilian trucks armed with machineguns. An obvious win for the Leocardian forces, but leaving questions what might the revolutionaries be up to with such a big force the day before, and such a punitive today. There was no casualties for Leocardia, but an estimated 23 dead.

Meanwhile

A scout looked through radar in the ships interior. It was the legendary Juki SD, which has been known to have fought 16 ships and survived their massive firepower. Blimps were later shown in the antistealth radar system, and more ships closing in toward Leocardia's shores. The scout quickly grabs the phone and calls his supervising officer instantly.

"15 Blimps. Error or no?" He said on the phone.

"What? It's no error. I'm sounding the alarm."

"Okay."

Minutes later, the supervising officer talked with the Admiral and the alarm went off. The overheard speaker shouted to the crew that were running all over the decks. "THIS IS NOT A DRILL. SHIPS HEADING LEOCARDIA!" Crew went into their positions, loading their weaponry and rounding up the Juki Squad, a fleet of ships that are banded together with the Juki SD.

Cargo after cargo, the aid came immediate from the Baltics. As the men unloaded the aid, Maj. James Cart watched in amazement. "Recoilless rifles, thank God the Baltics exist for us." He holds one of these rifles in his hands and fires in the open air. "Excellence built in the precision on man's hands. This is truly amazing." The rest of the aid came in to the ports and airports of Leocardia's secreted military bases.

3rd Imperial Fleet

The fleet soon reached the territorial waters of Leocardia. 20 F-17s were launched to meet and eliminate any enemy air resistance while the Phlanx Cannons and Bushmaster cannons on the cruisers and frigates opened up with round after round at enemy costal defensive positions.

The submarines also moved into defensive position around the fleet and armed their SLBMs should they be needed.

Also a barrage of 30 Pounder Class Missiles were fired from the cruisers to neutralise enemy positions. Under cover fire, 4 teams of Imperial Marines and a Armored squad moved in to secure the coast...

Another shouted, and Juki's powerful guns stretched out and fired at the enemy ships. YJ-9 Antiship missiles fired away from the decks. Moskit Missiles, with Leocardian hypersonic motor, fired away at the ships.

IC:

INA Tango Squadron

Lieutenant Commander yelled into the intraplane net as the enemy blimps opened fire on them "Evasive maneouvours!"

Not needing to be told twice, the planes quickly junked hard and broke formation, releasing chaffs and flares to lure the enemy missiles away while their junking to attempt to dodge the deadly flak.

Of course luck was not on everyones side and two planes were lost when they were hit by anti aircraft shells. The new flare deployment system seemed to be working great against the enemy missiles... for now.

They desperately radioded a request for immediate assistance as they regrouped and released a total of 36 Harper Class air to air fire and forget missiles. Guided by targeting lasers, they locked on to the enemy blimps and leapt from the wing pylons of their respective aircrafts.

Reinforcements was quickly underway, 3 squadrons totalling 60 F-17T Tactial Superiority Fighters were quickly scrambled from the decks of their carriers and moved in to engage the enemy. Another 2 squadrons of Harrier VTOL aircraft were launched from the decks of their Marine Infantry Support Ships (MISS) as they zoomed towards the enemy, hugging the sea such as to avoid detection as they carried their deadly payload of deadly missiles...

3rd Fleet

The fleet's 6 Aegis Cruisers immediately swung into position as their Phlanx Cannons rotated to face the incomming missiles and released shell after shell of depleted uranium and tungsten rounds into the enemy missiles.

Sea Sparrows eagerly leaped from their launches, coupled with Sea Wolf missiles to engage and eliminate the incomming enemy missiles. Several hundred more were released from the launchers of the Frigates and Cruisers and Carriers as well as the support ships as they raced to take down as many enemy fighters as possible.

Chaffs and Flares were released as a last ditch attempt to evade enemy missiles. However two Knox Class Frigates reported being hit by the enemy anti-ship missiles and had to seal of several compartments, however they reported still being operational for combat.



2nd Airborne Brigade


A total of 250 aircraft was launched from the forward offense air base comprising of a mix of FA-18 Hornets, F-16 Falcons, F-22 Raptors and F-35 Lightnings. They were armed with full complements of AIM-9 Sidewinder, AIM-54 Pheonix missiles and AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles.

As well as carrying full loads of ammunition for their Vulcan Gattling Guns. As they neared the enemy air defense forces, they broke up and engaged the enemy with their weaponary, aided by the naval surface to air missiles as well as another additional 120 F-17s and F-18s to aid.

Meanwhile a bombing force of B-1 Lancers, B-2 Spirits and B-52 Stratofortresses were readied and weapons loaded before they took off and headed towards the enemy territory, under cover by several squadrons of F-22 Raptors.

As they flew towards the enemy air bases and key military installations, they fired of several Anti-Radar missile to jam and eliminate enemy eyes in the air before unleashing their fury in the form of CBUs, Fire and Forget Missiles, Laser Guided Bombs, GPS Bombs and if need be, Bunker Penetrating SLAM Bombs...

In the office of Lord Sumguy:

'My lord, we have just received alarming news, the nation of Leocardia has erupted in a vicious civil war! The pro-democracy rebel capitalists are fighting agains the Communist government for control of the country. Both sides are receiving outside help."

"Hmm, well, from what this report says, we should support neither. We disagree with what the communists are fighting for, and we dissaprove of the rebel's methods........See if we can set up peace talks between the two factions, i do not want to see a nation with such promise ruined by this conflict. Also, request permission to send in peacekeeping forces to guard the civilian populace."

"yes Lord"

"Wait, one more thing,"

"inform both the rebels and the communists that if either of them uses any nuclear weapons, that all 20 of my region's nations will immediatly support the other side."

While your intentions might be noble, we applaud your attempts to create peace. However we are not amused or threathened by your threats. We do not tolerate such threats and should you dare to use your puny armies to threathen us, we will not hesitate to remove your little dot away from the world map.

Once again, we wish to applaud your attempts at starting peace talks and we'd strongly suggest you build your power up first before attempting to poke your head into anything major, meaning things like war etc...

incorrect, sir. i control 3 nations (two of wich are experiments upon responses to issues), all others are independants who have pledged alleigance to me, or belong to members of the gaming clan i am a member of who were already my supporters before i ever joined nationstates (if you wish, i can send you a link to to our forum, and you can see for yourself), hence why there is a regional chat, and why there is more than one U.N. nation...why would i ever talk to myself, or risk having myself deleted for a few U.N. votes?

also, i never supposed that we could destroy you alone, i merely stated who we would support. The smallest of contributions can tip the balance.

And seriously, do i need a gigantic army to protect civilians? It should be a relatively small matter, unless your troops attack civilians openly and directly.

Edit: i have now removed all nations belonging to me exepting my main nation from my region and placed them in another region. Look now at my region and you shall see an accurate measure of my region's strength.

Foreign Ministry's response to message: We are afraid you are acting rather paranoid sir, we made no move towards war. Truly, if you use no nuclear weapons, then there will be no ill feelings between us, and do not think we are so foolish as to suppose we can defeat either of your warring factions on our own. We realize that we would be hopelessley outnumbered in a direct confrontation, which is why we would not fight you unilaterally if it did, as we hope it wont, come to war. even so, we are willing to risk complete annihilation for the sake of humanity. Will you allow us to send forces to protect civilians? If we are truly just a "dot on the map", then it will be of little danger to you. We wish to work to minimise human loss in this conflict, wether the impact we make upon it is large or not.

300 Su-37's escorted 110 Tu-22m bombers armed with 3 Raduga Kh-22 anti-shipping missiles each. These low-flying aircraft would fire the missiles near the max distance to avoid picking a fight with the ships. The Su-37s would wait for orders which would depend on the condition of the fleet. All of the aircraft had been refueled recently so they weren't in any danger of running out of fuel, at least not anytime soon.

Meanwhile, 6 Kiev Class Carriers carrying a full load of Yak-141s and Ka-31 Helicopters along with 25 Amur 1850 Submarines, 7 Krivak III Class, 2 Sovermenny Class, several dozen cargo ships and 1 Kirov Class moved towerds one of the ports on the Leocardia Coast. The cargo ships carried 1,000 T-90S tanks which would be handed over to Communist forces. They also carried 25,000 Sa-7, 40,000 Sa-18, and 60,000 KPV Heavy Machine Guns. They would also hand over the 6 Kiev Class Carriers free of charge to the Communist forces.

"J-10, 6. We got some extra defensive. We need backup." a J-10 Squad Leader said on his radio. Air to air missiles flied past the planes, knocking some jets down to the surface, whereas, some were prepared and destroyed these missiles with their KiK-054 anti-Air-to-Air missile technology system. A total of 12 jets were knocked down.

"EXTRA BACKUP!" Another line of planes from Mationbuds came attacking the fighters and bombers with their added payload. Another set of 6 bombers were shot down. Though, this wasn't all what Leocardia had to offer. "INITIATE HYPERSONIC AIR TO SHIP!" The captain shouted. All the J-10s initiated their newest installations and fired away, aiming at all the ships Mationbuds had deployed against Leocardia's Juki Squad, primarily carriers and amphibious crafts.

Reinforcements came along with the airforce. 150 F-22 Raptors instantly appeared, as well as a set of 20 F-15K backing them up. The shores were patrolled by a deployed number of 1,500 Leocardian Terrorist Special Forces, one of 27 special forces units from Leocardia's People's Army. The Terrorists were ready for action, gripping their rifles and rockets ready for the assault. Armored vehicles, such as Hummers and IFVs, parked in the beaches and roads aside the beach. All in the gunned positions, the Leocardian Army National Guard was manned. 2,300 Guards were deployed, and the results of their deployment may vary.

In the middle of nowhere, Leocardia

The camp was full of action in the morning. Training and practing, the normal routine, was done as Commander Jutsin walks out his tent. He turns to the right and sees the Rekusta Confederate flag waving briskly with the winds. He knew his platoon wasn't ready for combat with the true army of Leocardia, but he knew they can still stand a chance against them. A desert-camoflaged hummer driving through the sand came toward his camp. Rebels guarding the camp started to get worried about this unsuspecting vehicle. Jutsin ran through the same and up behind the wooden walls that stood as the gate into the camp. He snapped out his binoculars and spotted the hummer with the Rekusta markings on it. "It's safe." He shouted to the worried rebels, as well as making hand signals.

The hummer sped through the gate and stopped in the front. A slousy man got out of the car, while the driver parked it. It was Maj. General Lewis, a prime target that was wanted by the Leocardian Government for years, and was suspected to be the head of all attacks during the past two years.

"Ah, it's an old face. I haven't seen you in forever!" Jutsin hugged Lewis.

"Yes, yes. But, lets not get carried away. Mationbuds has come to aid us in the war, my men will be disturbuting in attritional attacks on the Commies." Lewis explained to Jutsin. "It's just what we are wanting for. They also gave us 2 billion, I took a billion to buy my forces some quality tanks to make it hard for the Commies. The car has another billion."

"A billion for me? My men are trained to be out of sight, not be out in the open with tanks." Jutsin said.

"Then, use the money for better weapons. I am going to use mine for tanks."

"Okay. I'm going to get some good guns, but maybe we should focus on recruiting more rebels in?"

"I already have it. 30,000 men have signed up in Nikia. It's our secondary base, but the Commies have thought that it's our headquarters." Lewis prepared to walk away. "My advice to you is to keep training and hiding from the Coms. When they are worn out with Mationbuds, then we will have a full scale, otherwise keep it low... Goodbye, my friend."

"May we see again."

Lewis went back to the hummer and the hummer sped away.

Message to the Leocardian Goverement:

If you need any help holding off the revolutionaries and communist's we'll send a task force of, 3 battleships, 5 destoryers, 5 submarines, and 2 carrier's loaded with F/A-15N Cardinal jets, and also 650 Calizorinstan Marines also. If you don't we'll just await any request's for help. We hope democracy prevail's here.

A port from the Leocardian Coast saw the Baltic aid shipments. The port workers viewed it in amazement, even Maj. Johnson, a high ranking official. "Looks to me a true ally." He thought to himself. It was the most valuable military aid that anyone has given to Leocardia... free of charge. "ALRIGHT GUYS, GET IT IN!" He shouted to the workers and went back into the station.

There in the room, he typed a letter to President Jason Batista.

The Calizorinstanian Task Force headed out of San Diego towards Leocardia to help stop the forces of Mationbud from occupying Leocardia, it would take about a month to get their. The force consisted of, 36 FA-15N jet's, 4 Peter the Great class Battleships, and 2 Carriers, and, 5 destoryers..

IC: 15 Billion Dollers coming straight from the Northern Baltic Defence Budget was sent into Leocardia's accounts electronicly. Military analyists hoped the money would allow Leocardia to upgrade her military and push back any rebel assault.
The 25 Amur 1850 Submarines were also left at the Crew-Bay Harbor next to the Kiev Class Carriers. The crews from the submarines went aboard the merchent ships which were now empty and had plenty of room. They would spend the remaining journey back to The Northern Baltic on these ships.

"J-10, 6. We got some extra defensive. We need backup." a J-10 Squad Leader said on his radio. Air to air missiles flied past the planes, knocking some jets down to the surface, whereas, some were prepared and destroyed these missiles with their KiK-054 anti-Air-to-Air missile technology system. A total of 12 jets were knocked down.

"EXTRA BACKUP!" Another line of planes from Mationbuds came attacking the fighters and bombers with their added payload. Another set of 6 bombers were shot down. Though, this wasn't all what Leocardia had to offer. "INITIATE HYPERSONIC AIR TO SHIP!" The captain shouted. All the J-10s initiated their newest installations and fired away, aiming at all the ships Mationbuds had deployed against Leocardia's Juki Squad, primarily carriers and amphibious crafts.

Reinforcements came along with the airforce. 150 F-22 Raptors instantly appeared, as well as a set of 20 F-15K backing them up. The shores were patrolled by a deployed number of 1,500 Leocardian Terrorist Special Forces, one of 27 special forces units from Leocardia's People's Army. The Terrorists were ready for action, gripping their rifles and rockets ready for the assault. Armored vehicles, such as Hummers and IFVs, parked in the beaches and roads aside the beach. All in the gunned positions, the Leocardian Army National Guard was manned. 2,300 Guards were deployed, and the results of their deployment may vary.

Besides that, 200 M1A2 Abrams, 200 Challenger Battle Tanks, 20 Howitzer Artillery Pieces, 10 Mobile SCUD Launchers along with 50,000 M-16 Assualt Rifles and 20,000 FAMAS Rifles and 12,500 RPG Launchers will be shipped under Imperial Naval escort.

We hope that the increased aid will boost your efforts in recruiting a larger force to deal and takeover the communist government. It would be advisable to stage underground recruitment drives to promote your effort.

Shipping

As promised, the equipment was loaded onto several large cargo haulers and were dispatched under escort by elements of the 4th Imperial Fleet and the 8th Airborne Brigade.

Naval and Air Battle

"Sir, enemy hypersonic missiles in the air!"

Immediately the massive carriers began to rotate such as to give the smallest possible target area to the incomming missiles. Their defensive Phalanx and Bushmaster Cannons began unleashing round after round of shells, coupled with indicinary rounds from the Gattling Turrets strategically placed around the carriers.

The deck launchers swung into position and a impressive array of Harpoon, Sea Sparrow and Sea Wolf missiles were launched to counter the new threat. They were aided by the Aegis Cruisers and the other escort cruisers and frigates of the fleet.

However several hypersonic missiles did get through and a Kitty Hawk Class Carrier received a direct hit on its deck and was declared unoperational as no further jets could be launched.

Only choppers and VTOL aircraft could be launched, severly limiting its capabilities.

Meanwhile Imperial Intel reports had reported enemy forces on the shores.
Several A-10 Thunderbolts and B-2 Spirits were scrambled and they soon arrived over enemy shores, firing off AT-2 Swatter Missiles and Modified TOW Missiles along with Cluster Bomb Units at the enemy positions.

Napalm Canisters were also used. The planes then swooped down and unleashed hell as they fired burts from their twin Gattling Cannons...

The Fleet's cruisers also aided by firing off a total of 25 Tomahawk Class Cruise Missiles with conventional warheads, aided by Poseidon Missiles fired from the submarines, also with conventional warheads.

Several of the new Trident-II Cruise Missiles were also readied.

As the enemy reacted to the incomming horde of fire fired at them, the Imperial Marine battatlions moved in, clearing out any resistance, aided by the Abrams and Challenger Battle thanks, also covered by air cover.

APCs escorted by Light Battle Tanks moved forward to deploy forward infatry and special forces units...

Mationbuds Enemy A-10s and B-2s began to fly in low-attitudes to bomb the deployed Leocardian ground forces. Though, the Leocardian Terrorists SF were ready and quickly pulled out their laser-guided stinger missiles. Firing away, the troops were great in their aims and missiles flew hitting some of their targets. AAA vehicles were also used as support against missed targets.

As of the J-10s still flying in the airspace, they responded instantly to the bombers, unloading their payloads of YJ-16s, AIM-7s, AIM-9s, and AIM-54s. The fighters were well prepared, as they were trained from first real combat 2 years ago in action against the Mer des Ennuis forces.

Though, Leocardian forces on the shores were still in tip-top shape, after serval bombs were dropped. 12 soldiers were killed, while 132 were wounded. EMRs responded to these, and quickly pulled out the injured/dead from the battlefield.

The money was well handed over to Leocardia's top military aide. The carriers carrying such a large amount of ground forces were immediately taken to grounds, there was no time to spare. While, the navy was idle, the Leocardian military officials requested the Baltic navy to aid in the attempting invasion of the Mationbuds. Therefore, the Baltic-aided navy has been deployed to the situation now ongoing.

300 Su-37's escorted 110 Tu-22m bombers armed with 3 Raduga Kh-22 anti-shipping missiles each. These low-flying aircraft would fire the missiles near the max distance to avoid picking a fight with the ships. The Su-37s would wait for orders which would depend on the condition of the fleet. All of the aircraft had been refueled recently so they weren't in any danger of running out of fuel, at least not anytime soon.

Meanwhile, 6 Kiev Class Carriers carrying a full load of Yak-141s and Ka-31 Helicopters along with 25 Amur 1850 Submarines, 7 Krivak III Class, 2 Sovermenny Class, several dozen cargo ships and 1 Kirov Class moved towerds one of the ports on the Leocardia Coast. The cargo ships carried 1,000 T-90S tanks which would be handed over to Communist forces. They also carried 25,000 Sa-7, 40,000 Sa-18, and 60,000 KPV Heavy Machine Guns. They would also hand over the 6 Kiev Class Carriers free of charge to the Communist forces.

Also, the element of surprise was on their side as the 2 orbital silver sky weapons platforms opened fire with their Chemical Laser weaponary with precise and pin point accuracy, reducing enemy missiles and planes to flaming cinders.

Of course several did hit, damaging a frigate here and there...

The Admiral decided that the enemy resistance was pretty strong and measures had to be taken, 5 Trident Class Low Yield A-Cruise Missiles were launched at the enemy key military installations verified by advanced satellite imagery. Hydrogen bombs were not fired yet, due to the known fact of a massive radioactive fall out.

As the cruise missiles homed towards their target, the Imperial Marine Battalions surged forward, eliminating any other pockets of resistance as further reinforcements poured in.

Imperial Special Forces troopers paradropped in or eneterd via helo insertion, backed up by heavy Imperial Air cover. They moved to secure key installations (ooc: awaiting ur reply on this... I didnt say they were taken yet.)

As the army fought for every inch of ground, they secured several towns here and there as they repelled and pushed the enemy backwards.

Meanwhile the Bombers junked and fired off the newly installed flares and chaffs which were GREAT against the soviet bloc missiles. Their only flaw was against stinger missiles and such.

However enemy fire did down several A-10 bombers and a B2 Bomber. The bombers immediately retreated under the cover of their escorting F-17T Fighters.

We aim to remain neutral through this conflict, and do not support either side. Our interest is the people, not the government.

Sea Sparrow II Missiles part ignored: Max range for the Kh-22 is around 240 miles, while the max range for the Sea Sparrow (if you're using the newest one) is 10 miles. While you could say after the missiles came in range, the Sea Sparrow Missiles were fired, however the Sea Sparrow relies on semi-active radar homing and since the Kh-22's are below the radar, theres no guidance system for them. Also, the Orbital Silver Sky seems like Post-Modern Tech specily with the intercepting of Mach 4 missiles with pin point accuracy. My only other complaint is that while you can say you reduce my missiles to flaming cinders, you cannot say that with my planes because that is godmodding.

"General," Three rebels salute before ongoing what they were supposed to be doing. "Orders, sir."

Maj. General Lewis was on time and ready to carry on orders. "I want a FA-15N from the Mationbuds in the air, carry on with some 300 soldiers in to attack the front. Hopefully, the Coms will be distracted with long runs of our attacks on ground, they will never have thought to look up."

"300 soldiers. Shall we proceed with the technicals again?"

"Yes, but this time, use some of the tanks we got too."

"Sure."

The Attack

The front was cold and still. Mud was still used on the opposite side of the Leocardian troop positions to slow enemy rushes. M1A2 Tanks stand idle, AAA remain calm. It was a breeze morning. "'Bout time they give up, aye?" A soldier talks with his friend. "We sure need a break." He picks up his AK-47 patrol rifle and aims in the open air. He looks through the aim hole, and notices a dark blimp in the sky. "Huh?" He glances at the blimp once more.
"The hell is that?" A soldier next to him asked. "I don't know," he replied, "but I think we need to call someone in." He turns on his radio and begins his report.

Dark blimp, 32-33-4. Possible enemy aircraft, report stats.

He repeats the report over and over until their was a reply.

10-4. Retreat back, repeat. Retreat back.

Front line

"AIRCRAFT!" A bunker man shouts, and the AAA raises its gun. The gunner aims steadily, and fires away. Lucky enough, the jet was shot down. Moments later, another explosion. This was never heard of in the start of the battle, it was an artillery, has to be.

"Positions!" The overhead shouted. "Positions!"

Soldiers scattered and discovered it was another attack by the rebels. Enemy tanks sped through the barbed wires and fired at the running soldiers, killing 565 soldiers. Bunkers were left in ruins, as they were targeted by antitank ammunition. Rebel ground troops followed behind the armor and fired at the defensive soldiers. Another 124 soldiers were shot dead.

Leocardian M1A2 Tanks quickly responded and eliminated the tank threat, though rebels were also well equipped by arming themselves instantly with RPGs as well as the Javelin rockets. The counterstrike destroyed 4 of the 10 tanks that were in action in the section. Decisively, it was a Leocardian defeat, though, the media of Leocardia claimed that it was a victory by controlling the situation.

In fact, the US government is currently researching chemical weaponary. Nextly I dont base my tech totally on what is recorded. My Sea Sparrow 2s are hypersonic missiles with a range of approximately 100 miles, thus they have sufficient time and range to eliminate your missiles.

Plus I have the backing of a full fleet which has more than enough firepower to deal with anything you can throw at it, short of a all out attempt at eliminating it.

In fact, the US government is currently researching chemical weaponary. Nextly I dont base my tech totally on what is recorded. My Sea Sparrow 2s are hypersonic missiles with a range of approximately 100 miles, thus they have sufficient time and range to eliminate your missiles.

Plus I have the backing of a full fleet which has more than enough firepower to deal with anything you can throw at it, short of a all out attempt at eliminating it.

(Rebels RP)

The Commander of the Rekusta was eager in keeping it down and quiet, though Maj. General Lewis was eager to bring weapons to the front and have an open front assault on the Leocardians.

It was almost dawn, and the Leocardian soldiers were just waiting on the clock to switch shifts. "5 MORE MINUTES!" The Sergant cried out to the patrolling offiers on the front that sieged Nikia. "5 MORE MINUTES!" It seemed like forever since the shift was on. More like 10 hours. Friendly tanks came back from its patrols and were waiting to find a parking spot for it. The men dropped their guns, and begun detaching their helmets. "LAST MINUTE GUYS, HUSSLE UP!" The Sergant exclaimed, once again. "LAST MINUTE G-" He was cut off.

A loud explosion was heard. Missiles raining down on the bunkers, and trenches, and enemy tanks began rolling away. "GET THE GUNS!" Men scrambled, unprepared of whats next. They grabbed their guns and ran outside, but didn't know the rebels had established machineguns right in the front of the bunkers. One by one, soldiers fell, each from their bunkers. Leocardian tanks rolled out, and tried returning defensive fire, but were struck by tanks and antitank rockets.

Heavy rebel artillery, acquired by an unknown source, poured on the front. The positions were left in ruins, and dust filled the air. Leocardian reinforcements, including Q-5s, attacked at the rebels, killing 1,505 out of 3,658. The rebels made an advance in their victorious fight.

Leocardian deaths trailed up to 6,535, while leaving only 16 wounded survivors.

The butler sighed a bit. "The 3rd base of the sieged Nikia, it was attacked and all of its troops stationed were dead. They were unprepared, and were busy focussing with their shifts."

"What?" Jason stood up and slammed the desk he was sitting at. "How did all six thousand die in stuff like that?"

"You see, President," He gulped. "The rebels are in an advance. The reinforcements were only Q-5s attacking the area. They had sophisticated weapons. Tanks, artillery, even an aircraft we shot down last night!"

"Aircraft? You haven't told me any shit yet, and now you tell me? Six thousand dead, and all these news finally come to me?"

"Yes," He gulped again. "The rebels are heading this way. Orders from the Defense Minister are to blockade Kingster and only let permitted units come in. Citizens will be treated with free food from Leocardian Government Aid Offices during the lockdown."

"Fine. I want to know who is giving them these equipment."

"Our intelligence sources say Mationbuds are in."

The rebellion group that heads this situation is called the Rekustan Confederates, known to have tried to created their own independant nation, Rekusta, but our secret police have been disrupting their process. Their estimated troop strength is 36,000, last year, and this year they are predicted to try recruiting in the city of Nikia, suspected to be the base of Rekustans.

Currently, my forces have spotted numerous weaponry that could not have been Rekustan military, with tanks and smuggled rockets, and even aircrafts! We have suspected Mationbuds for this reason. They have killed thousands of my men, and are advancing their way into Kingster, the capital city. Though, with extensive protection, my forces have blocked entry into Kingster. In this civil war, I might as well have to take part in this, just like how I have been doing for the past 2 wars.

The major paused to gather his breath...it looked like he'd run 10 miles. "Sit down, major, and compose yourself". Starov looked over the telegrams carefully.

"Three bases hit, 6,000+ casualties, regional stability in danger. They've lost some critical bases around Nikia, and the situation is deteriorating. Damn! How the hell did this happen? None of our recon suggested they could hit hard for another few weeks at least!"

"Sir, it appears that they're far better armed than prior intelligence suggested. Leocardian commanders are saying the rebels are getting supplies from outside, maybe Mationbuds or somewhere else"

"Well, we can't do a fucking thing about the borders since that's Leocardia's job..." Starov paused briefly to calm himself. Anger was not good at this juncture. "What units do we currently have available?"

"The 34th mechanized infantry division and the 54th and 112th infantry divisions are in place, sir, and we've completed the landing area for the helicopters that arrived last week. We're rushing to complete airstrips at the base for aerial missions, but that's still a good two or three weeks off even with triple shifts. Next week, another infantry division arrives and by the end of the month the 3rd Armored Division will be deployed."

"Major, I want you to send a communique to the generals in charge of these divisions, and I want those troops ready to move out ASAP. We need to get in there and strike at those sites before the rebs can rearm and resupply, and we need to make sure they don't gain control over the area. I want the 112th and 34th mechanized to move out in no more than 24 hours. Tell the 54th to stay on base as a reserve; if the rebs attack we're going to need at least one fresh division to repulse a major assault."

"Yes sir. I'll give you a status report as soon as the generals respond, sir." The major saluted, and walked out of the room. The Lieutenant General stared at the closing door for a moment before picking up the secure phone line to call the Leocardian military authorities and confirm the situation. He said quietly, "6,000 killed...God damn it, they've got to close the borders or else they're gonna keep getting hammered", and then dialed Leocardian command.

OOC: After this post, the rebels will attack. There are approximately 600 Vetalian troops, 10 tanks, 3 fighting vehicles, and helicopter/anti-air support approximately 15 minutes away

The sun shown brightly on the war-ravaged Nikian suburbs as the first platoons of the 112th and 34th divisions approached the suspected weapons stockpiles around Nikia. It was eerily quiet, save for the sound of their own forces and the helicopters that flew overhead, and the soldiers glanced nervously around at the deserted street.

Colonel Karazov looked around as his forces moved steadily towards the destination. "Keep your cool, men. Intel says the main depot is at the next intersection. We should be in and out by nightfall" However, his mind also ran another thought through his cool control of the situation. But where the hell are the fighters? Colonel Karazov was puzzled by the silence; recon hadn't seen a damn thing since they started moving in to the area, and most of the civilians were already long since gone, fearing reprisal from both sides.

The convoy approached the main suspected depot, an old industrial plant that had seen a disproportionate amount of activity since the rebels took the area.

He reached for his comlink. "Alright, I want the two platoons of rangers to approach the main facility and find an entryway while the infantry and tanks remain behind and secure the surrounding area. We've got three streets running in to the area, and a bunch of buildings along them...recon says they estimated 150 to 200 rebels in the area as of two days ago, so keep your eyes open."

He briefly took a seat in the command Jeep, watching as the platoons of special forces moved forward to the depot. Something was wrong, but he couldn't put his finger on it...instead, he put his finger on the trigger of his AK-74.

The Nikia has a desert-like terrain. Only one river flows through the city, which Leocardian are focusing in the construction of a dam, which would block the water source. The Imperial Patrol Craft radioed in for air support and 4 F-17Ts were dispatched to escort the freighter, which continued on towards the coast. They moved at maximum speed, which would enable them to outrun the heavy vessels sent to intercept them.

We do not want to alarm any of the participants, but we too possess strategic weapons that could be used in the event that a nuclear strike occurs on any nation, be it Mationbuds, Leocardia, or anyone else that is attacked. Should this happen, we may be forced to take military action against the perpetrator. Weapons of mass destruction have no place in a conflict such as this, especially when the bulk of the conflict that has lead to this irrational brinksmanship only involves Leocardia by proxy.

The sovereign state of Leocardia is not a chessboard for other nations to use for their own strategic maneuverings. The Leocardian Government has announced that they are making plans to establish a Communist-Revolutionist alliance in Leocardia, in which the Communists can take the Government, but allowing the Revolutionists to operate in peaceful terms and obeying the laws of Leocardia. Together, both political parties can establish their influences and claim Leocardia as a whole. The Leocardian Communist Party, the leading party, is also making aims to meet the needs of the Rekustan rebels, and will offer to fund Rekusta as an organization to protect Leocardia, and spread their influences. Firstly we are not FT. A missile shield does not literally mean a missile shield. It means a zone in which we have deployed anti missile weaponary such as Patriot Missiles, ABLs (Airborne Lasers), Silver Sky Stations (Orbital Chemical Lasers) and an assortment of other interception methods.

Leocardia is making aims to disarm its nuclear arsenal, and by giving an ally only three nuclear ICBMs should be an act of aiding an ally in defense. We only wish your nation to offer construction workers to destruct the sieged equipment that was once used around Nikia. Otherwise, you may choose to reuse these parts and keep them in your country... It's up to you.

We are delighted we have another volunteer in our joint development program in which we can work together in developing a MBT that would fit into our weapons and be considered one of the most advanced modern tanks ever built.
