Tavern
It was smoky and loud in the Tavern. In The Peoples Freedom, there was a distinct difference between a bar and a Tavern. Taverns were where more respectable people went, people who were higher-class, and normally, they argued about some sort of national issue or another. Tonight, the conservatives and nationalists were once again debating. However, tonight was different. It was different for many reasons. The first was that both debaters’ were completely wasted. The second was that both were former soldiers, and hardcore to their party. Lastly, they had stopped debating, and started raging.
“Fuck you, you piece of shit! What the hell do you know! All you conservatives are not true citizens!”
“What the hell? I served in the Army for twenty years, you stupid fuck-“
“And you served in a pussy division!”
“What? What did you say to me?”
The other one had an evil glare in his eyes, he was pissed, and he wanted blood.
“I said, you served in a fucking pussy division!”
The other man came charging at him, drunken with red hot rage, veins were bulging out of his neck. He punched the other man, fracturing his skull when he hit a chair. Then, the Nationalists and Conservatives in the Tavern got into a full on fist fight. But then, something changed. One man got down to check on the man with the fractured skull.
“He’s fucking dead! He killed him!”
With that, he pulled out his TDX sidearm, and proceeded to blast the brains out of any conservative. By the time the police got there, fifty one people had died.


Breaking news, TPFNN
“Today, thousands of Conservatives and Nationalists protested in the streets today.”
“Despite the best effort of local police forces, the two mobs got to each other and fought.”
“Reports are still coming in, but it appears that hundreds of people have been killed.”

After several more riots like that, it was clear TPF was on the verge of a new civil war. Despite last efforts of peace from the Senate, war broke out.

War broke out, it was brother versus brother, sister versus sister, neighbor versus neighbor, soldiers versus soldier, and the blood of patriots would spill.

OCC: This is meant to be an epic civil war. One of brother versus brother. Anyone can join. You can send as many troops as you want. There are no rules. I will be personally leading the Nationalist military. Someone will need to be the conservatives. Also this for serious roleplayers only. Your posts should be detailed and semi-long. I won't be a Nazi on this, but you should have each post at least a paragraph in length.

OCC: Yes.
The Conservatives are similar to the the U.S. Republicans, but believe in strong international cooperation.

The Nationalists are hardcore, well Nationalists, they are xeno-phobic and believe certain nations should be wiped off the map, like all communists, through nuclear fallout. They are 'democratic' but only to an extent.

The Military has been split roughly in half. Militias roam.

The Nationalists hold the cities and have roughly 1,000 divisions of various types.

The Conservatives have less, 900 divisions, and are in smaller towns and the countryside. However, they have the most support.

I am still finishing the numbers.

The Navy is effectively locked in port.

They have equal Air power.

Finally there is the Socialists, who have some support, but are considered minor compared to the Nats and cons. However they do have around 100 million members, maybe more.

We condemn this civil war outright. Both sides should sit down without guns and get this resolved as fast as possible. For it is a way to anarachy and destruction. We will also condemn any nations military response to interferring in international politics between individual groups of people. OOC: In that case I'll have to choose between the Nationalists and the Conservatives, for I'll have to fight the lefties.

The Casa upon getting word from the Dian Intelligence Service, was hastily assembled in a partial comitee.

People were moving through the corridors wondering what was going on to the breifing rooms connected by Video Intercom, some holding the handhelds reading or veiwing information reports, a few wearing bluetooth earpeices with mic and chic monofocals that were one eyed viewports and likely did the ocular equivelent of brain freeze to the inexperienced viewer.

The message was clear.

It'll be bloody hell, but we'd like to make sure this isn't a bloody armagedon. We have good reason to beleive that the Nationalists taking over will potentially effect us down the road severely especially if they start offloading war heads. We need to secure every nuclear launch capable facility there or pound them offline or be read to blow any birds out of the air." Some sweat drips off his bald top.

"Trust me if we don't insure the nationalists are deprived of victory in this debacle conservatives or socialists then we or our allies could be at risk. I highly suggest you send word back to the Logothe's Office and have him attempt diplomatic mediation. The civil war is all about balls.

Shurtas Smiles, " You have a very vulgar way of explaining it, I'll speak with the Logothe Heinrich and see if he can acheive any movement in stabalizing the area. Also you have a green flag to use force to contain the civil war.

A few seconds latter, the logothe was face to face with the Empress via video screen.

Uartek has informed me that there is a risk of collatoral damages in the TPF civil war in addition to the local deaths and infrastructure damages. We'd like your office to attempt to calm down the situation and if need be position the nationalists to fall if they have any type of chance of victory. Commander Devalon got up uneasily from his command chair. He had been in the service of the military for far to long to ignore the questions of a inferior rank... especially in International Waters.

"Sir... there seems to be several groups of aircraft engaged in battle to the northeast... they're just at the edge of the Nautilis's radar. They appear to be... fighting sir."

Indeed, the blips on the edge of the screen seemed to be merging back and forth in intracite patterns, as if doing some sort of complex dance.

"Is that normal sir?"

Devalon regarded the screen and then his officer with the same cold glance. He knew what regulations required... but the fact to the matter was they could be mistaken for the enemy... they were oftly close to the shoreline.

"Comms, I want a dirrect link with CICSE. We have a situation."

Mitchel Renald, Commander in Chief of Special Opperations was concerned. There was reports comming in on quite a few diplomatic channels that war had broken out in a isolated country between two goverment groups. That wasn't the sum of it. The Nautilis, one of thier prized aircraft carriers had stopped sending communique approxamatly an hour ago... and since then nothing had been able to reach them. As he jogged down the long, grey hallway, his mind tossed back and forth trying to figure out what he had done wrong to deserve this job.

Turning a final corner, he saw his target loom before him... the TBR. In here was the nerve center of all military opperations, and at the end of the table sat his mission... Draco Knight, CEO of the Industry. Hurriedly, he dodged people scuttling back and forth across the room to deliver his report.

"Sir, we estimate a 27% likelyhood of damage from this conflict."

The figure stirred for a moment and raised one eye, regarding him carefully.

"How?"

"Tactical Nuclear Device, sir."

"What yeild?"

"Estimated 24 Megatons, sir."

"Who did they get it from? I didn't authorise any sales of Nuclear weaponry."

"Sir... The ore..."

"What?"

"Sir, We've been exporting ore to countries for months."


Draco seemed to slump a little farther down into his chair, the eye closing agin, face furrowed in deep thought. There were days when Aranald wished he could find out what went on behind those dark eyes.

"Send a expeditionary force. If that Nuke has any trace from us, this could become a international and diplomatic conflict that we can't afford. I don't care how it gets done, just destroy that bloody nuke!"

His face remained in the infiriated tenseness for a moment, and then once again relaxed. With his orders intact, Aranald scurried off to set up the men and hopefully regain some of his sanity.

OOC: I'm hoping to support this as a international incident. I plan over the next few days to send both supplies and soldiers to either the socialists or the conservatives, whichever may in the end bring a better economic supply, but as a main goal destroy evidence of nuclear weaponry.

The news broke all over the capital of the SSU. The Chairman of the SSU was surprised and knew something big was going to happen.
"Godamn, a civil war is going to explode in there!"
"Sir, I suggest we help them. That nation will be devastated by the time the civil war ends."
"Ok, we have to help our Nationalist comrades. So send some troops over there, as many as you can." Said the Chairman. He was worried about this situation, got his hand up and it was trembling.
"Vassili, don't send as much as you can. Send the maximum forces we have available at sea and in foreign territory." Vassili turned his head and made a nervous gesture.
"But sir, we wou---"
"JUST DO IT! FOLLOW MY ORDER!" Commanded the Chairman.

General Headquarters of the SSU Armed Forces

General Vladimir Petrov, Commander of the SSU Armed Forces entered his officer at 08:00. Grabbed his cup of coffee and heard someone shouting. He stood up of his chair and saw a radio operator from Command Post.
"Sorry for the interruption sir. This just came in from The Chairman." The radio operator was exhausted, he breathed very hard.
"Holy Shit, this is absurd. Send all the forces in foreign territory! Damn I can't do anything, I have to follow the order." He got his phone and rang to Radio Operations Command.
"Hello Colonel, this is extremely important. I want you to message all the forces in foreign territory and on sea that are available and ready to embark to The Peoples Freedom coasts. I guess you've already heard the news."
Colonel Crasky, incharge of the Radio Operations Command was surprised by the order of the General. He saw the big screen infront of him, and saw the crisis there was in TPF.
"Yes General, I've heard the news and it's hell in there. So, I'll message everyone available at foreign territory to be deployed to TPF."
"Ok, Thank You Colonel."

Kazor
Tanks rolled across the plains. One tank had the hull number '11013' but that was slashed out and instead the words that were painted were The Terminator Riding on top of it was Sergeant Roland Doves. Wind splashed against his face, and that, at least, was a welcome relief, it was a hot day out, and the rainstorms that normally occurred this kind of year hadn't made it to the southern part of the country. Dove's tank, along with his armored division, were heading to the town of Kazor. Kazor was small, but it was an important railway junction and highway 713 ran through it, both of which were critical to transporting men and materials for the war.

" Roland, it is fucking hot." complained his driver, Noland
" You get to sit up here in that wind, while we have to drive this."
" Ah, shutup, you, were only thirty miles away, anyway."
" I have to agree with Noland here, Sarge" Said the weapons officer, Kit Corso.
" Well, what the hell do you want me to do about it?"' asked Sergeant Doves.
" I dunno..."
" Exactly, there is nothing I can do, so just take it, like I said, we are almost there."

Around twenty minutes later, the tank got the order to form up with its company. Doves got into the tank and shut the hatch.
" Now I get to be miserable with you idiots." Sighed Doves.
" Yes, Sergeant." Said Noland, but he could hardly suppress the grin he wore.
" Well alright, ready yourselves, we are entering combat soon."
" Load RAKE round."
" RAKE round loaded!" Yelled Kit, pressing some buttons on a computer screen to get the round to load.

Kazor was up ahead. The Conservative forces were well entrenched, with infantry in trenches and buildings.
" What do you see, Sergeant?" asked Noland. He usually got serious when it got time to fight, for which Doves was greatful for.
" Looks like they have heavily dug-in infantry, and some anti-tank emplacements..."
He scanned the area some more.
" Ah, it also appears that they have a company of Nova's to meet our Panthers." Said Doves.
" Okay, men, get ready."
" We are ready Sergeant!" Yelled both men.
" Gunner, target, 3km, Nova Main Battle tank."
" Roger, target, 3km... target, spotted, aiming, locked, ready to fire."
" Fire."
The massive gun boomed, the RAKE projectile flew out of the barrel, it's ramjet activating, it flew, impacted, and the Nova went up in a ball of flame.

" Hit!" Exclaimed Kit.

The Allied States of Green Hawk agree that the hopes of peace is still possible, but if war does break out then Green Hawk will run no interference. Remember, there is no honorer in killing someone for their ideals. Do your best to calm this problem down as much as possible. I wish you luck.

"No sir." The assistant said. "I am dead serious."

"Then I want our entire army mobilized. I want the Expiditionary army ready for launch."

"The entire thing sir?"

"Yes. I want them fully equipped and covered by a full naval and aerial contingent." The assistant stepped to attention.

"Fur Die Kaiserfrau!" He said turning and leaving.

"Fur Die Kaiserfrau!" Derrick returned giving the traditional salute that was the same as that given to Hitler with the modification of the arm being pulled back to just nehind the ear exposing the palm. Derrick couldnt believe it. So far only some tiny backwater countries had Civil Wars. This would be diffrent, with the HUGE amount of troops the Peoples Freedom commanded it would encompass more than just there own country. The Shakal addition would be nice little bump for the nationalists. He heard the phone ring.

"Derrick I have some bad news." Grand Admiral Conners said. "The ship has taken a beating and a half. We lost 5000 men and 8 ships to the Vetakans."

Derricks jaw dropped as he continued to listen over the speaker phone. The S.I.N Samantha was the fleets most powerful warship and it was near sunk by orbital cannon fire.

"I hear you Sam." He said. "Are you ok?" Derrick said almost frantically.

"Im fine. I just hope that you and Kristina go easy on me for a while when I get back." Samantha said with a good laugh behind her words. "Anyway, whats this I hear about mobilizing the army?"

"How could you have heard about that already?" Derrick said.

"You know damn well that after you gave me a Duper Dreadnaught as a birthday present I put bugs in your office." Samantha said.

"Fair enough. Were sending the Expidtionary force to help the nationalists in The Peoples Freedom." Derrick explained. "We dont expect much naval resistance so you just make sure that Super Dreadnaught I gave you doesnt sink into the ocean."

We thank Shakal very much for their support. Unfortunately, we cannot supply naval defense to your forces. Much of the navy is bottled up in port, and is quite simply, much to expensive to maintain. We are focusing on Army and Air Force matters. However, my leader of the air force just informed me that he would be willing to send out twelve B-77's to guard you, armed with anti-shipping missiles. We hope you find this adequate.

Under The Ocean
The submersible TPFCS Swordfish was busy patrolling the waters. While it was true that the bulk of the navy was still bottled up in port, both sides, the conservatives and the nationalists, loved to target shipping. Many critical raw materials and advanced materials came via sea. Perhaps the most important was the oil tankers. TPF had very little oil itself. In fact, areas that contained the nations Strategic Oil reserve were now battlegrounds. Both sides knew, however, that soon these would run out, and so they were purchasing oil like mad. Both sides had soon began to use frigates and destroyers to protect the tankers that were constantly getting targeted and sunk. Aside from these, no heavier ships had been able to escape. In addition both sides used naval bombers to sink merchant ships, as well as subs like the Swordfish. The Swordfish herself was actually a diesel-powered coastal submarine, instead of the deep-ocean submarines that the navy used to deploy. The Coastal submarines were much cheaper to produce and easier to maintain, critical to both factions of the civil war.


All around the submarine klaxon's hooted. Men rushed to their stations. Captain Norris had been asleep, but now he jolted up to the command center. After nearly running into a dozen sailors, Norris arrived.
" Commander, what do we have?" Norris asked Commander Beckingham, his second in command.
" Sir, we have discovered an enemy oil tanker. It is being escorted by a few full-sized cutters." Both sides usually employed cutters once the tanker came into coastal waters, also because they were cheaper, and the men easier to train.
" A oil-tanker, eh? That's a nice fish you caught there, Commander."
" Thank you sir, she wasn't that hard to find, came right up, pretty as you please." Beckingham said, with a wolfish grin on his face.
Captain Norris soon peered through the periscope, and he could see the crew-members working hard on the deck of the tanker, getting ready for her to dock in port. Of course, docking an oil tanker was hard enough. First the port had to be cleared of mines, and then they had to unload it fast, least the enemy planes showed up.
" This will keep the Nats' tanks hopefully stalled for a few days somewhere due to lack of fuel." Said the captain. " Bring us down to torpedo depth."
" Aye, Aye, Captain."
" Load torpedoes. Uploading targeting data to targeting."
Four torpedoes were loaded. They weren't supercatvating, those were reserved for subs much more powerful than the coastal one's.
All four torpedoes were launched. The massive tanker tried to turn, but it was a futile gesture. All four torpedoes, impacted, and already, the tanker began to list.
" Hit!" Yelled Morris. The crew cheered horrendously loud.
" A lot of fish are going to die, Captain." Remarked Beckingham.
" Well, we are going to die unless we leave this area and the cutters. Dive!"
A computerized voice came on. " Dive, Dive, Dive!"
" Score on for the cons." Muttered Norris.

General, we have been watching your civil war with great intrest. We here at
SPECOPS do not enjoy seeing war, but it happens. We offer a contingency of 20,000 troops, 500 aircraft and a Phoenix Class Aircraft Carrier, The Nabruin, to aid in your dispute. In return, we ask that you be open for international trade with our country, and that a certain... device, reported to be in the hands of the Nationalists, be destroyed. With these troops we will send 100 FireStorm Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Artillery, 4000 MK3 Tanks, and enough munitions to bolster your offensive.

However, if the device is used or trade and treaties with your country become blocked after we assist, we will consider this a failure and red flag any diplomatic envoys to our country.

We will try and get a man inside socialist lines... but at this point success is unknown.

PS. There is another Aircraft Carrier, the Nautilis, near your waters. The Commander is Atron Devalon. If you find him or succesfully establish comunique with him, he may be able to help your cause, although his status is currently unknown.

Derrick sent the message and made a call to Mannstein. He would personally lead the Shakal troops. The Expiditionary Army consists of 16 Infantry Divisions, 4 Mechanized Divisions, and 5 Panscrier Divisions. They would travel with the bulk of the Shakal fleet as an escort.

We accept your aid. However, we can only assume this device is a nuclear device, and, the nats have plenty of them themselves, they don't need more. As for your aircraft carrier, I regret to inform you that we have reports that it was sunk by a nat ZMI Khan missile. We heard that it tried to assist a number of merchant ships, and sunk a number of nat subs. It was however soon sunk. We are sorry.

Minister Hyun spoke briefly. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for coming. As you are likely aware, Foreign Minister Revvek is currently returning from The Peoples Freedom. Negociations have failed with both factions in efforts to halt random attacks against civilian shipping. Eighteen Mahrian citizens have died within the last two days, and over fourty others have been killed in previous attacks.

As such, I have received Parliaments permission to dispatch ships to the coastal region. Clearly, we abhor violence, but are prepared to use force to halt those who deliberately target non-combatant shipping. That is all, thank you."


Hyun had left out-conveniently-that Mahrian groups had been selling fuel and arms to both sides. As such, they had been under attack by both factions. Neither group was actually all that good for business, unless shipping could be secured.

Five of what the Mahrians called micro-carriers had been sent out to do so. Each carried eighty planes, mainly customized for anti-submarine or anti-air. Although the hope was that they would not be needed, each carrier had fourteen long-range cruise missiles. They were designed to attack land targets-planned for retaliation against home ports should it be necessary.
